- Going in search of the BEST Bar in Madeira !
Starting out at the glorious Boca da Corrida and heading down into Curral das Freiras to find the ultimate Madeiran Bar with some fabulous Ales, and views that will blow your mind !
I like the sound of the 'best bar' bit concerned about the 'nuns valley' mind😵💫. The views were stunning no matter which way you looked and nice to have a quiet hike too, especially in that weather. What a great place to send the drone up and even better to meet people on the trail that watch your channel, especially when they were so nice. Great hike but it must have been nice in that heat to get in for a cooling dip, not matter how chilly it was. No matter how nice that dip was the bar/café absolutely ruled - what a view for your table! Love the sound of a passion fruit IPA, very refreshing and I cannot believe there would be a better bar anywhere on the island! Cheers Alan

It is so true, everywhere you look in Madeira there is stunning scenery😍⛰️. It was lovely to meet Alex and Pinja on trail, very strange coincidence, they had been watching our pico grande previous video (which starts from the same point) that morning, and then saw us there, they must have thought we lived up in the mountains ⛰️😂🙈. Pete enjoyed his refreshing swim, and i enjoyed my paddle (i for regret not going in now!)😊👍. The drone practically flies itself up there, plenty of space and gorgeous shots everywhere, Pete had great fun with it in Madeira😊👍. The bar really was something special, the refreshing passion fruit beer, those views! We stayed there a little longer than planned 🤩🍻. A pretty perfect day! It really was lovely to meet Alex and Pinja, and such a strange spot to meet them considering Alex was originally from Liverpool too! They had been watching our pico grande video that morning, which took the same part of the trail, they must have thought we lived up there 😂🙈. You are right, we really do appreciate people watching our little videos, means a lot 🤗. This was a stunning trail, we don't think we could ever tire of Madeira's majestic scenery, we would live there if finances allowed ❤. Those beers went downward treat, and what a vista to enjoy them with, we could have whiled away quite a few hours there for sure 🤗🍻⛰️.

Beautiful day to get the best of Madeira`s stunning scenery. Fabulous views all the way. The views from the bar were pretty epic too. Brilliant refreshment stop at the end of your walk. Those landscapes are hard to beat. We hope to be back in February but I bet we will struggle to get a better day. Best wishes to you both.

Guys that's such a fabulous place, the views were amazing and great that it was quiet as you hiked. Love what pete said that it was wall to wall scenery, so true ! Really looked hard climbing in that heat though so it was good you had a little wind. Loved the drone footage, so good and it was brilliant that you met that couple who watched your channel and Alex was from Liverpool as well 😃
You passed some gorgeous houses near the water, Pete was brave swimming there, I would have just paddled like you Shell and Alf would have swam :)

Hi Shell, Hi Pete, absolutely beautiful, what a place. Now that is a place I could easily live in. I bet that beer went down an absolute treat and what a view from the terrace, similar to spoons in Fleetwood minus the drunks and crack heads! Haha
My mate was telling me yesterday he was going to Madeira for the first time in a couple of weeks. I've told him to stop by your channel to have a look at what awaits him.

Blimey guys, how did we miss this? Huge apologies!!! Right, Friday night, wine, and OB’s looking for the best bar in Madeira…perfect!! Lovely view and nice quiet walk. Think we could do this walk, you seem to be going down or at least flat! Not sure about that drop on your side though!! Think of that beer Shell? We are!!!! Lovely drone shots Pete. We can absolutely see why you love this place. Ah you met some watchers of your channel, amazing!!! That was so cool!! Now, nice walk but where’s this bar? 😂. Rach wants to know why you didn’t just sack the mountain off, jump in a taxi and go to the bar first 😂😂. That little camp looks cool, nice place for a BBQ. Shell, you sound a bit impatient for the bar…we feel your pain. What a beautiful swim stop, looks idyllic! What beautiful views from that bar, wow!! Would love a beer there!! Hahaha yes, i (Shell) was rather impatient for a cold beer that day!😂🍻. Not a bad idea to sack the hike off and head for the bar Rach, but Pete was having none of it! 😂. Was so cool to meet Alex and Pinja, that has never happened to us before, and for it to be in such a remote location, and for Alex to be from scouseland too, mad coincidence!😊👍. The scenery on this hike is some of the best we have seen anywhere, just gorgeous 😍. The bar!! What a view from a beer garden this was! We may have enjoyed more than one beverage, never wanted to leave! But the beautiful little kitty was there to cheer us up as we left (we actually said at the time 'Rach and Wills would love you'😻). Definitely guys, need to meet you guys in person this summer!

We went to that bar last week! Wonderful views, although we sat downstairs i didn't realise there was a upstairs! We walked down nuns valley path. I hate heights so hats off for where you guys go! 😅
Totally agree, that upstairs terrace has the best views we have seen whilst enjoying a cold beer 🍻🤩. Now you have an excuse to go back to visit! The nuns Valley is so dramatic, we absolutely love it there, although a head for heights is needed😳. Thanks so much for watching,
