Burgess Falls State Park, TN | Hiking and Kayaking

Hike (and paddle) with us as we explore Burgess Falls State Park!
We hiked along the stream, watching the water as it rolls over 2 smaller waterfalls, lower and lower until we finally come to the overlook of the famous Burgess Falls. Standing at over 130 feet tall, this waterfall stuns us and captures the true essence of Tennessee State Parks. But how to get to the bottom of the falls!?
As it turns out, there is no way to get to the bottom of these stunning falls, except by boat. The base of the falls is connected to Center Hill Lake. Let's Kayak!
From here, we paddle. We went back another day and paddled the 4 miles to see the stunning falls from below. Brian and I both agreed that as stunning as the falls were from above, we simply stared in awe at the beauty of Burgess Falls from below!
