I was standing on a corner in Tombstone Arizona, such a fine sight to see. It was Lance and Galin, hair blowin in the wind, speeding up to take a look at me and my Harley!
Great adventure, no one likes riding in the rain but it's the difficult things on the road that stick out in your mind on these trips. But if you're going to travel on a bike you just have to deal with it. Both crews are real troopers.
A rainy day riding is way better than a sunny day working. Or in our situation in upstate NY, a 10" snow storm. You guys are awesome. Thank you for sharing
@@neildewitt2869 maybe 3" last Monday. Friday and Saturday idono, 5" wet snow. I live in stillwater NY near the Hudson River. Seems to always get less than all around us.
I live in AZ for 20 years and all weekend slow rain like that said ... 2 times. And you guys have to pick that to come LOL. Usually the rain is very short.
Came over from the Matt Laidlaws channel. Looking forward to this premiere. Hope you all have dried out by now. That was some torrential rain you all endured. Peace ✌
Good stuff, way to battle the elements. Thought to myself, if you guys roll up past Roosevelt into Payson up thru Pine & Strawberry to reach Jerome, the speeds will be slower, taking the ride longer, and the weather up there will be off the charts bad news. On a sunny day that’s a gem of a route. On a sunny day, I would ride on thru Strawberry, east onto the Mogollon Rim over to Clint’s Well, then north to Mormon Lake Lodge for a bite to eat (incredible ride there), then a beautiful 35 mi run on into Flagstaff, then take the trek on down thru Oak Creek Canyon/Slide Rock into Sedona, over to Cottonwood, then up the hill to Jerome and enjoy the Spirit Room…. when you’re not pressed for time. That’s the route!
Thanks De Ba! It was an adventure for sure. That was the plan, but it was nice shaving a few hour off considering the conditions. We've been through there before and it's an incredible landscape. Thanks for watching!
Great drop today guys!!! Been on some of those kind of rides that were in the rain, not the most fun. Saw you had Gators on protecting the boots. Good choice and always good when you have dry feet.
Usually jealous of the 2 Lane Life rides except when it's pouring!! Wonderful captivating video nevertheless with unsurpassed adventure and camaraderie. Be well and safe.
🍻🤟🥰🍻 Cheers to all guys. Thank you for a new awesome 2LANELIFE & Laidlaw Crew adventure. Love it. Send tons of positive vibes to the other side of the planet friends❣️🍻❣️
Awesome video, can't wait for the next episode, have bought 3 bikes from laidlaws since late 2020, whole staff is great. Couldn't ask for a better dealership. I need to make the Tombstone AZ trip myself, looks like a blast.
Thanks for tuning in!! The Laidlaw crew is awesome, and they've got our business from here on out😎 Tombstone and Bisbee and the surrounding areas are great places to explore, especially on two wheels!
Next time you're on Lowerl street you need to meet up with Jay Allen of the broken spoke salon. He lives there and that's all his toys. Super rad dude with a lot of stories.
Wish I could have seen you guys. I was at work when the bottom fell out here in Tucson. I love riding 83 through there to Tombstone, I do it often. Great video as always guys!
Wow I’ve been to Tucson more times than I can count and Tombstone about four times but how did I miss Bisbee? I’m kicking myself now. Another great video guys!
@@2LaneLife- Just watched it, guys. It's awesome seeing you guys together with Matt and his crew. Both of your channels laid-back videos are always a good watch especially when visiting historical and new places, motorcycle rallies, eateries, etc. Hope there's no more rain on both of your next videos. Please update us on the ghost tales. 😅 Ride safe y'all. 🤘🏼
geez guys, missed some drops, but this was really cool. i was and am a little weary of riding rain. but it's not bad? one question, how do you keep your helmet shield clear in the rain? in fact this week coming, expecting lot of rain in Florida. be safe, down the road.
All good, thanks for tuning in! That was a great trip. Part 2 drops next week. With the right tires and a little more planning, riding in the rain is no biggie. Just make sure to leave more time to make decisions, try to avoid sudden movements, and pay attention to changing conditions. A lot of helmets are compatible with pinlocks which help quite a bit with visor fogging. We usually just crack the shield a bit and wipe off the visor with the squeegee on our Thrashin' rain gloves.
I found that expensive but worth it $40 Torque has a silicone based spray for everything. Bike helmet and leathers. Rain is like a duck in water. It just rolls right off. Mud if it sticks all you do is water hose it off and drys without spots/streaks.
i noticed both of you are sporting the new Thrashin rain gear...how did it hold up compared to harley rain gear or any other for that matter....another awesome video...thanks...ride safe brothers
When a ride is planned, a ride is planned! Sometimes weather can put a damper on things, but it was a good time regardless. Thanks for watching, Paul 👍
I really would like to know who got the wettest? How does Lance or anyone with glasses keep them from fogging WITH the visor during cold/rain/humidity? And what rain gear everyone was using. I saw some wearing booties and others not. Much love and see ya down the road
Most of us kept fairly dry, except one of the dudes from Laidlaws crew was wearing vans and didnt have any booties so those things were soaked! The three of us were rocking Thrashin's new Mission Rain suit which kept us nice and warm, along with some harley boot covers. Josh's waterproof/insulated red wing boots usually keep the rain out, but struggled a bit this time around with the constant nature of the rain. The rest of the group had a mix of harley rain gear and cheaper rain gear off Amazon. Some got more wet than others. As far as the glasses go, just cracking the visor a bit and taking advantage of the windshield
This video is why I don't buy/wear Harley rain gear. I have a $29 one piece I've had for 5 years and I don't get wet anylonger. Harley gear I was always wet. Top, middle and bottom.
Josh got a root canal the day after getting back...double whammy😂 Haha usually the rain is no biggie when it only lasts for an hour at a time, but this trip was something else!

A hearty breakfast of 2 pancakes, 2 eggs over, rye toast, and plenty of coffee - rain bedamned.🤣 All part of the gig.

Spit works the best for fogging. Put it on with finger and thumb wipe it off. No fog. Learned it scuba diving.
