Hello from USA where TT began and unfortunately died before the 1970s. I'm really envious of you guys in the UK for resurecting this ideal size. Props to all involved in this effort.
1. Definitely have the roof off and included as a separate item as not only would it be much easier to paint but you could then leave it off so your layout visitors could ogle the detail.
2. The firm should do a copy of one of the Madderport town structures 😊

Hi @@PeachyTT120, yes, there is some but it exists way below the regular retail/brick & mortar level. Most of it is the HP stuff which used 1950's technology: metal castings for locomotives and wood shapes for freight & passenger cars, suplimented by paper sides. There are TT groups online and these sites along with eBay are the main keepers of the flame here.
I think in order for TT to make a resurrection here in the States it would take what Hornby & Peco have done in the UK: provide real retail muscle and advertising. If that would happen, then the "garage" outfits that supply the buildings, people, scenery, etc. would all pop up in a hurry. BTW, I love the 3D printed models from Inoxion; such detail!

Superb idea
You can already get a police box with flashing led in TT:120, I have one and I've mounted 2 figures from Noch with it as the Doctor and Donna.
Enjoyable review. Not long gotten into TT120 myself, so its great to have a channel that talks about it. I think the model would be best with a separate roof piece. I'd like to see a park gazebo/mini stage model.

Removable roof works make the ergonomics easier as long as it’s presented in a way that it isn’t fragile in shipment since it would have to be a third molding. I works like a southern style station next

Roof off so glazing can be tried. As old N modeler the detail is amazing yet not super detailed like OO or O needs. 3D prihting is still newish. Got some paints yesterday and was checking local paint brush suppliers today. 000 for TT figures, that will be fun, been watching 15mm military painting vids, looks doable.
Yeah some of those military modellers take it to the next level!
What would you like to see Inoxion produce next?
@@PeachyTT120 I had to check what he already makes. Not much for my Era2 but there are landscape features that have not changed for centuries and what all wargamers love - Stone walls. Hedges are easier to make, sliced scouring pad and scatter materials. Those signal box colours are very Queensland Heritage colours.
Thanks for the review. Just starting out in TT120 after buying my first set The Eastener and luckily getting my hands on a complete layout sans buildings/trees etc.
A) roof off. Like you said would make it easier to place lights add characters.
B) Chapel all villages should have a Chapel 😊.
I'm interested in adding a climbers to my layout scaling one of the cliffs. Any thoughts where I could get characters who could be made to look like they are climbing. Thinking one reaching out with a hand and legs spread and the other sitting on the top of the cliff. Could add some fine string painted brightly for the rope.

Have a look at Modelu. Their figure range is big & getting bigger. They’ve just started to add 1:120 to their range so it might not be shown on the website as an option, so you need to message/email them when ordering

3D resins are changing and getting tougher then you can mix resins. I noticed my tough resin was flexible but it ageing to hard over weeks. The problem is there is so many to pick from and they are not that cheap to try them all. Nice buildings though just not my region.
Roof off - I am weary of my LED needing to be replaced in the future, would have made painting on mine easier too.
I would like to see level crossing gates as either a standard kit or a little bit of wonderland fantasy a semi-solid piece that interlocks under the track with options to motorize the gates

@@PeachyTT120 It wasn't as bad as iI thought it would be, Very happy to find the inside came as one piece and not hundreds 😁
The paint job is a bit dark for my liking but I only had deck tan to hand.
Lovely little model, I only wish I could see more of the inside after fixing it in place.
