Got home from our anniversary vacation yesterday afternoon. I have a lot of videos to catch up on after being gone for a week.. Yours was the 1st one to show up on my list. I love how this project is looking. I hope the brace helps your thumb pain.
Lovely to spend my evening with you. Sorry to hear about the ouchy surgery prospect - definitely seek out alternatives. Good job on Tony encouraging you to get the stand. Laughing now at the reference to our variegation anonymous 😆 your piece I coming along beautifully. The Victorian engineering couple that I bought their felting tool from recommend German felting needles brand name Groz Beckert. And happy to have you as my friend too. Cheers, Christine
To eliminate unthreading, I've trained myself to grab the eye portion of the needle instead of the tip when pulling through. It really works. Hope that helps. Hugs ❤
Such a wonderful video, I look forward to finding a new video from you. The bees nest is beautiful. I sure hope you find a doctor that will give you the option of other solutions before surgery, I know that isn't always the case. You asked about favorite hoop for embroidery, for the past 4 years I have been using the Clover hoop, it gets my fabric drum tight which is how I like to stitch in the hoop. My all time favorite is the old aluminum hoops which I have been using since 1968 I have a few but over the years they tend to darken with age and sometimes rust, they do hold the fabric quite tight. The Clover hoop comes in 7 inch and 4 inch size and available at Joann's, Michaels and Amazon, every now an then you can find the 2 sizes in one pack. Happy Stitching and love the hoop stand which I plan to look for.
Hi Martha. I’m sorry to hear about all the thumb drama you’re going through. It’s hard to find a good Dr. these days. I think a lot of the problem is that they are just overwhelmed with patients. Hopefully your brace and physical therapy will help. I’m not doing the Roxy project this time. I had some other things I wanted to work on. Take care and try to stay cool. ❤️🙂
All the very best with your sore thumb……love your embroidery 🌸🦋
@@lindajeffree793 thank you so much!

@@artistgrly thanks Debbie. I normally do that too but the new setup is as retraining my brain.
