As a new convention owner (that's you guys), you will need to assign booths and I know you want to do it for free, but a small table fee for $25 will help pay for it because you also have to value your own time between planning and running the show. Lessons learned as you go through your various CDCC's.
I know yall are stressing but you both went from small time comic UA-cam channel to constantly being seen at shows and bigger and bigger additions to your collections, to now starting small again with this show. Its not stressy you're just leveling up to new growth to not only the channel but to you both becoming bigger influencing people within the community. Proud of yall!

I do think you guys should charge traders for tables. Even a nominal amount to ensure you're covering your costs & reducing the stress of whether dealers turn up or not, also you reduce the amount of piss-takers potentially showing up. Nobody serious is going to mind paying if you're putting on food, drink, & paying for infrastructure like tables & electricity.
Man oh man, you two go above and beyond for the community. It’s incredible to see. You’ve got a lot of us in your corner, supporting you. You two do more than enough for the comics and collectibles community and for your UA-cam viewers. I can only imagine the stress levels. So much could go wrong and you just want everything to work out for the better. Hope everyone appreciates your efforts. You’ll learn along the way I’m sure. But damn, congrats guys. This is unreal. Also shoutout Pedro. Pedro is a real one.
You guys have the potential to get massive with cons and such your doing this community con and then eventually overtime you might be able to manage your own con similar to Daytona like Tom does the possibilities are plentiful 😁
Just food for thought I don't know how it works in Florida but you should have the people selling there sign a sell at your own risk waver so you guys aren't liable for theift or injuries on your property
Look... I am sure there were be many comments like mine here. I understand that you were stressed out and that is reasonable. As far as whether things will "suck", or people will not be "happy". No way to make everyone happy. Just be a nice and gracious host. Do not worry about a bit of fan noise. The room echoes, so it is easy to hear people talk on the videos. The ONLY thing I would suggest is to somehow improve the temps. lol A good investment for the future are portal AC unites, maybe two of them, it would be an investment of I believe $1000 to $1200, but they are fantastic. If people do not appreciate what you two are doing, forget them! lol I think the vast majority realize what you are doing and why. Cool? I hope it went well. If not, keep trying, please! If I were in Florida I would support you two.
Oh look an entitled person to other people’s property and labor in the comments, go figure lol. These videos barely make money from UA-cam monetizstion, it’s their own money paying for the comics they sell genius.

In the UK it's routine now where you need Public Liability insurance to do a con. Some will ask for employer insurance too.
