Thanks for the tribute...very nice. Our little grave existance is so fleeting and time is such a restrictive concept. Oddly, we seem to be so hung up on someone....anyone being happy is such a myopic drag. One is a lonely number...if you "click" with someone...enjoy the experience and move on. I think Mr. Fry is managing his situation exceedingly well...and he does seem to be happy......kudos to his union.
Stephen is a man who deserves love. I'm happy he's happy. I'm jealous as hell of Elliot, but I'm happy he's happy.

They are like 2 generations apart, I find it hard to comprehend how there can be an equilibrium, any relationship with such an age gap strikes me as near impossible to succeed, but good luck to them nevertheless.
My parents had a 38 year age gap. It can work, and no he wasn't rich, he was a cleaner at a university and was in the forces before that. My mum was the breadwinner. He died in 2020, age 97.

30 yrs old is nowhere near middle age lol 😆.. 30 is still pretty young.. but that's a full adult age so i guess it's okay.

'Making it' - as in for the 'long haul'? I am always astounded by these folk that measure love in terms of time. Some loves do not last a lifetime. That may be laudable or enviable, even (in some cases), but does not negate the fact that some short-lived love relationships can be just as profound as those which go on for decades...
They are both legal and consenting adults. The age gap is only an issue between them and it appears not to be.
They are a charming couple, are clearly happy together, Elliot Spencer has been taking care of him during his physical and mental health issues, and Stephen Fry has never appeared more relaxed than he has been in a long time.

Happy for this couple. What is so crazy is not the couple's age difference but the silly people who were so upset over the costume designer joke. She deserved a teasing , you do not show up to an awards celebration show for creative achievements and win best costume designer and look like you just rolled out of bed after a binge drink party the night before..
