I ran into Stephen on set in Los Angeles a year and a half ago and I just wanted to tell him how much I absolutely loved his comedy but it was my first day and I couldn't interrupt him. I did observe though, that when they were done shooting the big actors would leave and go to their dressing rooms and Stephen would hang around and talk to any crew member or any background extra with absolute 100% engagement in the conversation. The classiest guy on set that week. Next time I see him I hope I won't miss the opportunity to tell him how much he's influenced me

Still hilarious and my kids love it to. This, blackadder, the young ones, Vic and Bob, absolutely, the Mary White House experience, the fast show! So so good!
Hey, the '60's and '70's weren't that bad either - the two Ronnies and Dave Allen were definitely the frontrunners for the later comedy shows. A different genre but still very funny were Les Dawson and Tommy Cooper. British comedy, to my mind, has always been the absolute best.

Judging by a little circle with a digitally cut out part of a photograph, that is currently being called "Avatar" by most of the people these days. I can honestly tell that who ever is on that picture is quite a bit more attractive then a man in a woman cloths we saw a few minutes ago.
