Another interesting video ! Thank you so much for sharing ! I'd like to ask something concerning the technique with gel colors : how does it turn out in taste? Isn't there any risk to get the strong taste of food coloring when eating ?
Love the tutorial very interesting. I did know that some people do a one-to-one or two-to-one ratio for their ganache how do I know which one is the best?
It depends on which chocolate you’re using and the drip effect you’re going for. I typically do a 2 to 1 ratio for semi sweet chocolate, 3 to 1 for white chocolate and 4 to 1 for candy melts but if you want thinner, longer drips you would need less chocolate and more cream. I always do a test drip on the side of thr pan or bowl where I make the ganache and then you can play around to make it thinner or thicker before applying it to the cake.
