Your bike also broke just like manny from moto million?
This is Mani's bike. Both my 2021 and 2023 M 1000 RR's had no issues
@@650ib gotcha! I must’ve missed it if you mentioned it before getting to the shop w zack. Happens when you’re at work watching “videos” more like listening to them only lol. Ride safe boss🤝🏽
@650ib I thought the 2021 burnt oil?
it's not due to moto millions, it's due to a plant QA issue where the #2 bearing cap is not torqued properly and BMW is fukkinig over all their customer's and denying responsibility .... unlike BMW but the worl is changing. Once they get their grubby lil paws on your money, all bets are off now. Fukkkkkkk BMW Motorad US.
@@650ib Thank F for that! I was gonna buy an M1kRR and found out how many people had problems and high maintenance, not really for long road travel. So am about to pull the trigger on a new SK1RR and seeing so many with so many problems I'm a bit scared. Glad yours were ok though!
The mechanic deserves a huge amount of respect, dude knows everything and does everything you are lucky !

Zak is amazing so blessed he’s been working on my bikes since 2007…..
Indeed Bro!
Zak is a very intelligent work of bike
How Zack talks about bikes he ALWAYS reminds me of Jessey of the first The fast and the furious. What a legend.
Zak is an amazing MASTER MECHANIC 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Zack is the best !!! Greetings from a bmw motorrad mechanic in Greece !!
Seeing accounts of brand new BMW bikes breaking down in a major way, reminded me of a visit I took to a BMW dealership in CA in the 90's to look at their newly released bikes on their showroom and seeing one of their new flagship K1200RS bike, with a shop rag tied to one of its fork legs where the upper stanchion, goes into the lower one. I examined it closely and it turned out that the fork was leaking fork fluid at the seal! A brand new bike with literally no miles, with a leaky fork already (i wondered, what the heck else could go wrong with those brand new, expensive bikes, if such simple things like fork seals would go bad so quickly??!). It really made me realize that BMW bikes are not really built that well. I swore off buying BMWs after that especially as it was not the only brand new BMW bike there with a leaking fork, as I noticed another one, a few bikes away on the showroom floor that day!😮
I bought myself a Honda VFR 750, instead, which is had been flawless since I drove it home, brand new, from the dealership!
Wow, crazy to see that motor come in all put together.. Zak is such a great down to earth guy and mechanic with so much knowledge of these bikes.
He has done all the services on both my sons S1000's
Seen a lot of these bmw's blow up lately
You’ve seen 1. Stop being a drama queen.
All over Facebook groups, MotoMillion has 500 miles, and it blew up. BMW is trash. Spit on it when your done riding it.

They are trash, can't expect much else.

I had a s1000 STOCK bought new ran in miles done got it first service done by BMW shortly after engine blew was nearly killed off it conrod ended up in the oil filter
BMW get your money and its F you after that I WILL never buy a BMW Again
Customer service is a joke

@650ib, looking forward to when you all come to Cali. I been hoping you all would make a trip out here. I know you all won't be up in my area but when I find out where your meet up is I will surely make the trip along with the folks I ride with.
Hey! We'll have a meetup at MotoClub Santa Monica on Saturday May 25th at noon.

It's nice bmw gives you another warranty. Especially after not honoring the first. 😂
What do you expect when you remove a rev limiter before the break in period is over ?
Cannot think of a cooler person to own that bike other than Jim.
random technical question: what pit bull pin size works for your stand? the fitment chart on their website leaves a couple questions. Thanks!
Here is the link for you. It's pin #3

I've wouldn't trust titanium bolts to hold the engine in place plus with all the vibrations . Steel is the best option but titanium can be used for other areas .
Zack the master mechanics I'm a fan of his work very good
I agree 🦾
Crazy that the BMW engine in the M1000RR costs more than the BMW engine in my Supra.
😂 crazy.
I'm guessing it might if it came with all the electronics and stuff attached to it rather than bare.
9:43 So now we can truly claim that Jesus rides an M1000RR!
Yes 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Jim is the man! Love that guy.
I agree!
That torque wrench is 🔥
Hopefully the new motor doesn't explode...
It's a S1000RR, there is a decent chance
leave the DME alone and it won't. Even if it does...full warranty!
So much knowledge, Zack!
Zak is amazing 🦾🦾🦾
Interesting to MotoMillions M1000RR there getting fixed up. I was on the fence between an S1k M-Package and the Fireblade but after watching Manny's video on the BMW customer service, and seeing a few of these engine let go early in life, I went with the Fireblade. Being short the Fireblade fits me really well, the 30th anniversary edition is gorgeous and it's much more unique than another S1K.
I'm looking forward to getting through the break-in so I can have Moore Mafia get ride of the restrictions and throttle issues.
The difference between my Ducati Streetfighter V4SP2 and the Fireblade could not be more pronounced.
With proper maintenance, you can pass that bike to your kids and still running strong!!! Good choice!!
I was thinking of the M1000R after my Aprilia Tuono was totaled thanks to a Mercedes pulling out in front of me. Watching all the new M series blowing engines made me decide to go with a new Aprilia RSV4. .
Pro ti has a big list of bolts
Thanks!
9:47 I still can’t believe it’s in my garage…I’m so happy! Shout out to Zack, Mani and friends!
Imagine buying a 40k bike and then another 15k for a motor, all this with 400miles on it. It’s crazy.
The red light of death fault code with 9 miles on the bike was insane. This bike was doomed from the start.
Bro its because no other Brand have that much blown engine like Bmw. The new double R is crazy in blowing up.
Haha ya right - millions of them lol
Ok I found out through the video thanks (pit bull stand)
No worries!
Given how NHRA engines, MotoGP engines and Formula 1 engines are broken in when new I am surprised Mannies M1000RR blew up. I blame BMW on this. The way that bike was broken-in shouldn’t affect the bearings. Break-ins are done to bed the piston rings into the bore. The only thing that i could see demolishing Mannies rings would be knock but where the bearings were blown out is what really has me scratching my head.
but as much as I know, knock has impact on bearings as well,it looks like these models are having problem with timing and no any material can stand knocks and detonations after bearings start loose tolerances
@@MrZoranbebek true but where the bearings broke was at the bottom of the rod where knock blows them out on the top side of the rod.
@@RadDadisRad do you have any info on cilynder number,is it allways number 2 or ?

This is Manni’s bike but two things. You can easily get another engine from Suzuki , Yamaha. We’ve already done so. True we didn’t get new sensors or a flashy new sprocket. But this video is no hard feelings to BMW as they were made aware of the vid.
BMW pays its engineers millions to build great parts that fail after warranty is done.
BMW is cheap as in keeping dedicated customers.
Zack has probably worked or seen motocross Factory Honda motors that cost more than that motor. FULL PRICE.
BMW better change their ways. Or lose customers

‘The engine comes with a two year warranty.’ Is that only if you buy a second one ? 😆 The first one that blew up didn’t seem to have any warranty.
seems like these bikes are having issues with the engine this is like the 5th one ive seen blow up the engine almost brand new
Wait for the 1300gs adventure to come out and get it
What I dislike at all the new RR and R ones is, that they tend to rev so high at the cold start. Everyone I do know and also Mechanics tell me, that revs are not really good at a cold engine. So why did they decide to rise the cold start rpm so high, compared to the first models? I totally dislike that thing. When I do see the HP4 for example, it does WAY less rpm on a cold motor. I think that would be safer... This one does sound like it would go up to 2k or more to start up... And that with no perfect oil in it (before the oil pumps can actually grab and start to spray oil). I mean, when the engine does start the pump does as well, but then it has a short delay to get pumped and this mean the more rpm you have at the start the more dry rpm runs you would have, right?
Aprilia also sell crate engines. Some people fit the RSV4 motor into their Tuono...
Wonder if the m1k motor is plug and play into a k67?
great vid
Thanks 😍
I just saw your video and UA-cam and I have the same issues with my BMW s1000RR only 2040 mile and right now. I’m fighting with the dealer, so they can fix my bike but they told me the same stuff that they told you they are blame the Brain Tuning and the over-rev these BMW bike. It’s coming with problem from factory and I think Bmw has to do something about it because it’s not only one people. It’s a lot of people that has the same issues.
Man! to have money to get a 15k engine 😂
I like that wrench more than the bike, at least it works as it should.
From Ducati you can get also complete engine assembly for warranty replacement if it is major failure.
BMW pack the engines so well because they’ve had to send so many out🤪
Oh please. Like zack said at least they ship complete and not just parts that require assembly with hopefully someone that knows how to
@@lg740xx yeah and it only costs $15k. What a bargain🤪🤪
Copart bikes exist for this same reason. Would never pay retail for an engine when you can get a whole parts bike for a fraction of the price.
Is that Mannie's bike
Yep 9:49
Yes it is.
Hey Northern or Southern California. I'm in northern cali and want to plan accordingly if I need to make a road trip....
Southern California, LA area.
Sir, install the Carbon Fibre tank cover again Sir 🙏🏻 😍❤
don't need two of the same type bike huh lmao you have 99 sport bikes 😁😁 also what is good about a new bmw engine is when they warranty it unlike that one but that is what happens when you do a tune and change the break in cycle and slam it straight to dyno and banging rev limiter
Is that motomillion’s bike?
Yes
Wonderful... is there any difference in power btwin old eng and new one ? Deuces 👋 to R1250 GS So sad 😢 feels like missing the eldest son in that Garage plz replace with the R1300 GS

Good - a bike for a better owner
Wonder if the owner is going to flash it before runin this time..
Haha. Not this time. We are taking extra special care of it before delivering to Jim Caviezel.
I feel sorry for a guy that doesn't have 15,000 bucks and is stuck with a bike they can't ride,
BMW probably finds just sending new motors the best way being they have such a high failure rate.
Probably the reason of the Japanese brands not selling engines is because they know they won’t brake 🤷🏻
That’s right - none have service departments lol
@@lg740xx Don't need them, Japanese bikes can actually be worked on by the customer instead of everything being locked behind electronics and refusing to hand over the service manual.
And it’s break, not brake - lol
@@lg740xx 👍
" Don't need those similar types of machines ", well Mr Ib, then you should add a VYRUS C3 4V, a BIMOTA TESI H2 CARBON, BIMOTA KB4.
Ducati Quoted me 17k plus 3k shipping for a brand new 23 Panigale v4s motor my bike was a 21 but they dont generally keep motors laying around. All over a broken water pump.
Also got to note the master mechanic just made me spend 720 dollars on that torque wrench lmao or i get it half off from SEP but still its so nice.
I've always wondered why the put a specific torque and then a turn degree afterwards?
instead of 60N.m then 90deg, why not just say 120Nm?
How much is the install
Keep the old motor, take it apart, check the rod journal and crank. Everything but the bearing should be good. I would just replace all bearings, put it back together and have a new motor. After all it is just a motor, they all run by the same rules.
That's a great idea. I'll consider that for the next time!
Go for m1000xr sir❤❤

hey Ib what was the weight of that engine?
So Mr 650ib that is your new engine install on the M Or is it someone else bike did your M1000rr broke.

Glad to see he got a new engine installed after bmw didnt wanna honor the warranty smh!! My question is, is this happening to the M models only or the non M model also??
Bottom end is the same in all models - S1000R/XR included. It must be the extra revs that is damaging the bottom end bearings.
@lordgibbness mmmm not exactly what I wanna hear but I guess life's a risk no...
