You'll probably want a medium size bike. Like a 125 would be a good first bike

Great video! Bought one for my son. Started it and we on for a few minutes and then stopped. Can’t start after. Is there something you would suggest in terms of choke and white nob?
That's a bummer. Maybe the spark plug is fouled? 2 strokes like to foul plugs, alot
Thanks much for the advice. The fuel mixture works, I blew into the tube at the bottom and made sure white switch was up and down and choke was up. I’ll try to spark club. We love the videos.
@@THEPAST Same here. Turn idle screw to the right just a tad. I know everyone says flip choke UP but mine hates up. Only would start on the DOWN poistion.
@@silverdropstang thanks friend. I ended up buying a new one- was cheaper than trying to return. Works now! Probably going to get a Honda if he likes it and spend the money. Stay blessed
If you had to do it all over again, would you purchase one of these new or like a used pw50 or crf50 for a little more? My son rides his little electric dirt bike full tilt now so I’m thinking maybe he’s ready for gas powered one now.
The pw50 would probably be ideal. The reason I chose the cheaper bike is because I wasn't really sure if he would like it or not, so I didn't wanna spend the extra money.

I built some training wheels for it. He was hesitant at first. It's loud, so that kinda scared him a little

I never actually tried so I'm not sure, sorry. I put training wheels on it so my kid didn't need to touch the ground and it's worked great like that

Pretty good. Have extra spark plugs on hand and you should be good.

Is there a adjustment on the twist grip to limit the throttle like on the little kids ATVs to limit how fast they can go?

Is he still riding it? In doubt if I get this or something similar, or a PW50 for my 3YO. PW is quite a bit more expensive, but I know he will fit on it. Don't know about this model.

One guy showed that it came with a bottle. There’s a line for gas and above that there’s a line for the 2 stroke oil. Shake to mix. Get a funnel and pour away till full.
I do the same thing. Use the bottle that comes with the bike

At the time, no. He was too short. He can now though. But he's 6 lol He was also kind of scared of the loud 2 stroke noise at first

It's been good so far. Goes through spark plugs if it sits awhile

@@BADDUDE_CORNPOP training wheels are a good idea. My kid couldn't touch the ground. So that's pretty much the only thing that helped him stop and start

This is pretty tall for a 3yr old. They won't be able to touch the ground. Only really drivable with training wheels attached.
A good alternative I found was an electric razor dirt bike. Alot smaller and easy to ride for that young of age

Depends what you're wanting to use it for? It would be fun to play around on it but it might be under powered if you're wanting to actually ride it on trails and stuff.

@@willsimonson3672 probably 15 mph. If you're looking for a fun street bike, check out the coleman mini bikes. Those are about 30mph and about the same size. They cost a little more though.

Okay thank you so much, my sons dirt bike was a ktx radical bike from mini pocket rockets. when he was riding he crashed hard into the fence and broke the front fender and made a crack in the gas tank. good thing hes okay.

Probably not a typical 3 yr old. But my 3 yr old certainly does ride it. It's probably more for 6-7 yr olds
DO NOT BUY. I have already had to replace the fuel filter. Had to replace the choke assy. Also the damn motor mount was broken. They will not take a return. I bought the thing for my nephew for some shots and giggles. But it’s not worth it. EVEN FOR A THREE YEAR OLD IT IS NOT WORTH IT.
