I saw it Tuesday night. The way I would describe it is that it took the best of every pilot movie, Behind Enemy Lines, Broken Arrow, Stealth and the original Top Gun. The music for the whole movie is from the 80's or sounds like it could have been.
This song was me; I was damaged from domestic violence in a good ole boy system…no one would help me and was so traumatized and self medicating that cost me a lot and I never understood how you could grant a child to an abuser. Took me a lot of years and healing to help women in my same situation that the broken system let down🙌🙏❤️
You definitely need to sit the family down to see the original and then go see Maverick in whatever large screen format is closest to you. I was skeptical if it would live up to the original and it greatly exceeded!
So I am late to the party here..... 🤣 but a couple of fun facts.... at the beginning when they show the P-51 Mustang...(the plane is Tom Cruises personal plane BTW) that is Cruise and Gaga flying in that.... and the flyby over the piano was Tom Cruise at the controls.... she is also wearing Tom Cruises jacket from the original Top Gun.... Lady Gaga is one hell of a writer.... and an insane singer...
