Uniteam won every single round. Flipping (countering in beatbox) is good when it's well executed and the rest of your round is solid as well, but Uniteam were cleaner, more in sync with each other, i'd say even more creative and had fresh new routines that weren't already used in battles. The only reason judges went for overtime is because of the crowd pressure (and maybe the backflip)

Both of them are world champions (there is only a total of 5 world champions as it's only held every 3-4 years, so they are two out of the 5 in one tag team). They decided to get back into battling last year as a tag team, and this year as you saw them in the 2021 wildcard winners video, they decided to enter Solo again which is why you see Alem saying "im back, im the father of the new school" and Alex "im the brother of the father of the new school". It was a clear win of the uniteam kotcha had alot of beat problems and they did it pretty bad in the overtime but, from a really high level view uniteam won from the crown view is more divided the opinion mainly uniteam they did everything perfect
If you actually rewatch the overtime round from kotcha you’ll see that frosty lost the flow and puts the mic down, on a technical standpoint, they were messy because they weren’t prepared enough for the routine. The judges have actually spoken about this with other beatboxxers and gave reasons why uniteam won. Their overall fundamentals were stronger.
Since you're reacting to tag teams now I'd heavily recommend K-pom CNBC showcase and K-pom vs Bery 2018(I believe could be 2017). Another suggestion I have is Gbb top 10 drops tag team 2019, all three are amazing videos
Checkout Penkyx vs Thorsen next. You'll enjoy it. Edit: Uniteam won this one as they were good over all whereas kotcha messed up in overtime. Dlow likes to counter a lot and thus Kotcha did some nice counters but technically uniteam was more in sync. Whereas Kotcha messed up their 'we got flow' routine in overtime. (All this is in my opinion tho😁)

The yodelling counter was cool but not that good, the second part of the counter had already been used by dlow in the competition, their ”we got flow” beat was pretty off. Uniteams final round before the yodelling was very tight and the yodelling was pretty creative from them.

the only problem with kotcha were some timing issues and they repeated routines ;( but both were impressive
Ye also they planned for 2 minute rounds but they were 1 min 30 sec so they had to freestyle some bits
