Fr his bass shakes the building, it's crazy. Also, KOTCHA definitely messed up their routine at the end. If they would have done it flawlessly, pretty sure they would've won.
Yeah it's a strange situation, I think like a lot of people that uniteam won the first 2 rounds even if it was close, but if kotcha had pulled we got flow without mistakes they would've won the OT and therefore the Battle

So the battle aspect is 100% on Kotcha plus the counter in the overtime. They just didn't have as strong of individual routines and also messed up in the overtime "we got flow". Uniteam just is really strong with the energy and has such a precise timing. Overall super duper solid. That's why it was so close, you could argue either way based on what you think is more important.
Dude yes. This is one of my favorite battles of all time. Also I think you're right, Uniteam was so much better all around, but it was worth it for the legendary OT

The factor that won this battle for uniteam was team chemistry, in tag team they judge you a little differently cause there’s the added factor of being in sync, and uniteam was never missed a beat with each other, they got more technical flows out in perfect syncs than kotcha did and that essentially won the battle for them

I disagree with most that Uniteam swept the first 2 rounds. I think for myself ( and perhaps some of the judges) the improtude rebuttal of Alem's "Westside" routine, by Kotcha was something next level. Alem's Westside routine was (at the time) extremely overused, so for Kothca to cover it on the fly and change it from a piece of technical wizardry to a bass heavy banger, was something actually very special. I think that is what made it go to Overtime.

I think the reason is because youre use to Dlows inward bass and newer beatboxers basses now. At this GBB Dlows bass is on another level to anything really at this point. So when he drops that westside inward bass its insane. He was really far ahead of beatboxers at this event. But they messed up the we got flow routine at the end so Uniteam win.

Overtime is hard in Tag Team as opposed to Solo. When you're solo, you have hopefully a lot of material you can pull out or freestyle... Tag Team is already hard for them to have enough prepared content to go from Elimination to Finals. Overtime reeeallllyy asks for a lot from Tag Teams. I think they also removed OT from GBB now, because of this?

Everyone knows it and the crowd goes bananas' when it starts BUT THEN - they fucked it up. If it was a beat they hadn't done before they may have gotten away with it - but because of everyone's familiarity with it - the crowd AND the judges knew they fucked it up. So Kotcha loses and Uniteam gets the W.
