Heat wave this week in Northwest Ohio and we're definitely in survival mode. I've been watering and hoping for a few pop up storms. I'm holding of on fertilizer until we get back into the 80 degree temps. Nice video!!!
I wish I could give you guys some of my rain. Up here in SE Minnesota and it's been raining almost everyday the past three weeks. Dealing with fungus and general swampyness!
Good video, dollar spot really seems like a problem the last several yrs up here in west tn.spring rain.still a problem even with treatment.better to cut low or stay around 1.75-2 inch ??hard to keep up in the heat for sure.thanks enjoy your videos.
Greenville SC 90° plus June into July. I have a neighbor across the street whose windows reflect the morning sun like a magnifying glass in certain spots in my front yard, and then noonday sun.. The heat is already there in the mornings until the evening… I develop grayish and yellow hotspots in my zoysia no matter if run my water system 3 mornings a week 10 mins it still stays the same until mid August. Any ideas?
Pet peeve is when people on social media suggust overseeding warm season grass. Other day someone suggest a lady should over seed her ST Augustine. I asked him where should she buy the seed from?
It’s just so hot. I water every day 45 minutes almost a zone or at each sprinkler head on 2 centipede yards. It’s so hot. I can’t keep dry spots out of my yard. What recommendations would you use to ease dry spots? If I don’t water, my lawn will not make it. 3 months with no significant rain. Brother I think you should do a series where you have Bermuda talk and you’re going throughout the entire season of Bermuda treatments then Saint Augustine, then centipede, etc. I have centipede lawn and there’s not a lot of information available aside from my Facebook group to try and get information for it.
I don't have the same grass as you. I water my lawn every morning for 15 minutes per zone then I water for 6 minutes per zone at 11, 1, 3 I might change those times a little bit ill see when it gets hot here next week Upper 90s and wind. Might go the 6 minutes at 11, 2, 5. It's not really watering the lawn at those time it's just like air conditioning the lawn cooling the grass down and the top soil layer. Just like running through the sprinklers on a hot day to cool you off it does the same for the grass. Also I need to adjust sprinkler for coverage it's missing a spot now so will be doing that today. Hopefully it helps can try it out a few weeks and see.
brutal few weeks here. 90+ degree weather and not a drop of rain. my lawn is dying
As always very informative. Thanks Jason!
Thanks for watching

Would you feel comfortable blanket spraying Celsius and dismiss at an extremely low rate right now in south Ga?
I'm in West Tennessee wat type of grass would I have do you think warm weather grass? Or cold season grasses
Warm season since you’re in the south.

What preemergent would you use on St. Augustine grass in January for dallis grass?
A pre-emergent is not going to prevent Dallisgrass
Great tips!
Thank you
Thank you
Will tuftuf go to seed head if your over watering?
Hot start to the summer. No end in sight 😢
