I think the general idea is to use the long range and her chasing power to her advantage, get them low but when you want to get a kill leave the wave on your side and chase them down. Depends on the matchup though, probably best into ranged Champs and tanks, but would struggle against skirmishers, juggernauts and bruisers.

I paused this video at roughly 1:28 while learning Briar in ARAM. I started the video immediately after loss, realized I could have stopped myself from wandering into death. This life is a comedy.
First impressions are that she basically for free wins most 1v1s and doesn’t do too much more, so as long as your opponents avoid those she doesn’t seem the strongest - but then she has a lot of utility and tools that still make her helpful!
@@sawley121 Yeah champ is cool but the other AA junglers do her same job way better tbh. (ik the joke was she's not alive but still). Also her only REAL cc is the q stun. The fear is mega delayed and you can see the giant circle coming and her E is the same way, like getting hit by a worse sion Q but it ALSO cancels her best way to deal damage which is her W taunt so if you press E for the cc you're essentially losing all your damage.. Taking champs at face value is always weird to me.
She feels really horrible to play tbh. Super clunky. And this is on launch when all her stats and abilities are op, I imagine she’ll feel even worse when she’s nerfed Sidenote, why are all the new champs from the past 2-3 years animations worse than older champs like illaoi and gnar that came out before them? I feel like Senna is the only “recent” champ that has those same fluid animation styles
I know this video is old but ill still say this is very inaccurate, briar is not squishy at all her main build gives her 4,5k hp and a ton of armor also her heal makes u win almost every fight even if u start with 10% hp and the second part is wrong also, she is the only champion in game who can still carry end game even if she is 0/10
Yes this video is when she came out, she's been changed 9 times since then and also is super over powered at the moment and due nerfs! Would be a good one to update, but my gosh they still haven't gotten her quite right yet!
I played briar jungle, sometimes, My experience is: Enemy has briar: -Their team support her, when she ults they follow her, you cant kill her, I play Briar: I ult on the enemy, my teammate instantly leaves me in 1v2 or 3v1, The enemy always have burst damage or darius or garen ult, and ofc I die like a rat, even tho I had 3 armor items against a full ad team, Briar is weak at start, if they have cc or burst damage she is done, her ult can basically kill you if the team do not follow you ( which they will not) if you want to kill yourself and loose of course play Briar, she depends too much on her team. F***ed up champion.
To the Build part: Porofessor says, the largest Item Popularity when it comes to Diamond+ is Eclipse-> Sundered Sky -> Steraks gage. Isn't that build theoretically better for her?
So briar is vex but bruiser with lifesteal with more dmg then vex and with a stun. Seems balanced. I am not talking about my last game where i got ganked 3 times by top lane briar. So if she gets feed mid laner and jungle won't be able to play game. Nice game design riot. Keep it up want me to slap your ass because of how good design you coming with. Just give vex ult to every champ. Next champion what if darius had vex ult new champion idea. Next Adc what if one auto could heal your full hp. Next Mage what if mage could just jump around whole map. No shit we have that ahri.

I went 1/5 against fiddle in laning then did not farm whole game just landed few ult then wallah now i am fed. After 30 min it became about which briar had better ult not whose team was better because my team was stomping their team hard and we somehow managed to win. Keep in mind i was still 1 item behind him and i was first timing the champ. This champion no way is tame my thorn mail does nothing to it it heals more then zed and ornn combined can burst.

I just want everyone to know that never, and I mean NEVER, pick this champ against an enemy Cass, it disables your main abilities and out damages you while also having the easiest R stun of her life. I had the worst game against a team with Cass, Viktor and Veigar and learned the hard way.

Gimmick champs tend to have a worse wr on release tbh. Especially when that gimmick makes you lose control of your champ. I dont think she's strong but I also don't think she's garbage. Its just almost every other fighter/AA jungler does the same job but better. Imo she's just a 4fun sidepick if you're tired of nocturne, yi, udyr, xin etc.
Yeah she definitely had a different play style which will take people a while to get used to, I’m sure she’ll be changed a few times over the next few months!
I dont fully understand how to use the W, everytime i use it its like im getting locked to the enemy champ and i cant disable the ability, then the enemy champ drags me to the nearest torret and i end up dying and feeding!!! can you tell me how to disable the W long duration ?
Very gimmicky, only her E and R scale with AP, so if you don't oneshot the opponent then you'll die. You also wouldn't get use out of her passive because that also scales with AD.
$700 PC challenge. see if you can get to gold rank using a $700 pc and having internet that is 58-63 fluxing MS, also with huge lag spikes. what rank do you think a lot of these Pros would get if they did this?
The best build is Navori, collector, black cleaver, sterak's cage, titanic hydra situational are death's dance, maw and eclipse (though imo navori is better) you rush crit early for mid game one shots and powerspike and you get hp for late game survivalbility
@@3MinuteLeagueofLegends yes, since crit is still as good as lethality in terms of damage if not better but it has much better passives and build paths, navori has the highest winrate for a reason, and collector is great for execute

last patch the meta was gore drinker + shojin. Shojin was slightly nerfed but should still be strong in her hands. can't wait to test it

I’ve never found them too bad animation wise to be honest, but people did hate Illaoi and Gnar when they came out too - especially Gnar 😅

Very gimmicky, only her E and R scale with AP, so if you don't oneshot the opponent then you'll die. You also wouldn't get use out of her passive because that also scales with AD.

There’s something called the PBE which most people can access where you can play her weeks early! Most of us play champs long before they come out!
