A couple clarifications on the things that you were uncertain about: - One card per turn makes the game more board oriented and more interaction based. You and the opp get to respond to each play you guys make, you 'build' the board together. - Don't underestimate those little guys ;) . If you get the bonus, you can hit for up to 10 which is good bang for your buck especially if the enemy king is almost dead. - Will fix that seeds txt lol. - There isn't a clear consensus in the community on which cards are the best and which matchups if any are hard matchups. Really depends on who you ask. Ran a poll on the Discord and most players voted for there is none.

Is a combo a checkmate tho? I don't mind having combos in the game so long as it's something you have to build towards. It does feel really bad when one player takes a really long turn because they're running through their entire deck.
The philosophy of the game was to avoid solitaire combos (looking at yugioh lol). you and the opponent build out the board together and then combine the abilities on the board to make clever plays.

There was this one pay to win card game that I liked called lies of astoroth that I used to play.
I played it before the name change. It's alright, I think the old card frames look way better.
