Thanks I am picking up several of each and more of the coronation type.
Another great, informative video. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching. Dan
Out of interest the crown on King Charles is the Tudor crown as I said on a previous video and Queen Elizabeth ll always wore the George IV State Diadem on money, and Queens traditionally wear a crown on coinage but not Kings except for the coronation year of any king.
Thanks so much for your input. It’s so helpful to all of us coin collectors. Thanks so much for watching. Dan
awesome man those are cool coins , keep up the good work !,
Thanks, you too! And thanks for watching. Dan
Molto belle,queste devo ancora acquistarle.grazie x anteprima.
Thanks dan lovely coins I managed to get the 35th coin kit for 425 dollars that’s the cheapest I could find ❤😊
Thanks not a bad price. How did you end up getting yours? Thanks Dan
I have ordered all three. But the one complaint I have heard about Britannias is they often times get milk spots.
It’s definitely good to have all of them. I got the 2024 one and it was milk spotted badly. So it can be a bit of hit and miss with the Royal mint. Thanks so much for your message. Dan
Use a nice new pencil eraser to remove milk spots if you do, it won't damage the coin.
Great video! I just ordered the crowned King Charles to complete my 3 coin year collection.
Sweet, it will be a year to remember for the Britannias!! Thanks for watching, Dan
Beautiful coins bud 👍, I think Charles left some detail off the obverse of the Coronation coin to focus more on his effigy 🤷🤔.
Thanks for the feedback, they made a slight change to fit the top of the crown in-between the writing and added 2023. Thanks for watching, Dan
Got them all in gold
Definitely a great choice. I might try and do the same. Thanks so watching. Dan
Great video mate but I used to love the Royal mint but the milk spotting has turned me off but I did get the 1kg Britannia with the queen on it though.
It can be hit and miss with them, I have been lucky so fare. they need to copy the Canadian mint.. Thanks for watching Dan
Why. in the UK they come with a 20% VAT liability. I don't want to know them.
I’m not sure why the have 20%
have a few of them all, but love the coronation one in particular :) also, why do you think countries like canada and australia haven’t yet featured updated coins with king charles’ effigy?
From what i understand, our government has not approved it yet. Even New Zealand had already changed. So the 2024 Kangaroo and the Maple might be ones to collect when they first come out. Thanks for watching. Dan
@@DantheCollectingMan interesting, i am definitely excited for the new maples! thanks for the feedback:)
I have 4 variants, does anyone know how many they variants made in 2023? Or the mintage on the one with the crown and laurels on the reverse?
Is the 4th that you have the proof one? Thanks. Dan
I like them but hate the milk spot issue
Thank for your response. And thanks for watching. Dan
I have all 3 and the royal cypher
Sweet, that's a nice set. Thanks so much for watching. Dan
Hi, what is the diameter in mm you are using for your Britannias capsules?
39mm for the Britannias, my favourite is the Leuchtturm ultra perfect fit 39mm thanks Dan
@@DantheCollectingMan Thanks Dan! I am brand new to this. I have just bought and received my first coins (10 Britannias type II) so I went to a LCS and I couldn't find the right fit. What about the tubes ounce the coins are encapsulated. Do you know? I'm from Canada btw.
I have about 10 Britannia coins , one for every year.
Won't be buying anymore . They are a bad investment , only worth scrap price of silver .
They can be very hit and miss with milk spots. I only have two so far. Thanks for sharing your experience. Dan
