If you're wondering why everyone is shiny: I could not find HD animated 3D models of every Pokémon in their normal colorations. For some reason, these only seem to exist for the shiny variants.
Probably because whoever made the models decided to only go with the shiny forms because… well, they're shiny. Sad that all of regular models aren't made.
tbh i thought it was just a fun little "easter egg"
i thought you know it saw a way to show your shinys in this vid
It’s for the poketubers ranking shinies
which is a good thing. i LOVE shinies
Imagine seeing Kyogre irl and being like "oh yeah... *_I'm catching that"_*
Sees an incredibly large whale
**Yeets an apple-sized ball at it**
@@tehoneandonlyyy4074 lol 🤣🤣🤣
@@tehoneandonlyyy4074
That’s Pokemon for you man
and I don't care if its in a titanic sized net, or a purple and white apple sized ball
We're gonna need a bigger boat...and net and dive ball
Kyogre is probably measured by length in the official dex, as actual whales would be, so it's probably much closer to Groudon in size. It is very fun to imagine it being preposterously massive, to the point that it dwarfs Rayquaza, tho. Big Kyo must be a real pushover to allow the silly little noodle dragon to boss it around.
For those defending the itty bitty noodle dragon: competitive viability does not matter here. Give up and bow down to our new lord and savior. Big Kyo is king and I will not be hearing any of you out
Yeah they often do that with Pokemon without legs
Yeah almost all Pokemon that aren't on legs/are really long are like that
yes, I was surprised by the size of that Kyogre
But. Just remember, That little noodle dragon was banned from the Uber tier league for being too "op".
And it’s not a little noodle like Arbok, it’s a giant green space serpent.
it's important to note that not all Pokemon lengths are meant to be ground-to-crown. A lot of Pokemon (Kyogre and Sword/Shield Doggos are good examples here) are measured tail to snout. Zacian would not be looking down at you from nearly 9 foot head height lol
The zamazenta and zacian ones are false, because its measured as if they were bipedal, yet he didnt do that, and yall are messing em up for it. He's human. Chill
@@memesfrommycomputer Sweetheart, I think YOU need to chill xD the Original commenter was super lighthearted and joking around in their message.
On another hand, I WANT A 9 FOOT TALL WOLF DOGGO!!!!!!!
@@hotaruishere2133 yeah i just copy pasted the same reply to people who said this and the original replys context was with someone who was angry so yeah
Zacian and zamazenta are legendary beast and sword of justice size right
Imagine if Kyogre was 14ft tall from top to bottom
Honestly I think kyogre being measured that way is way cooler. Makes the embodiment of the ocean seem way more intimidating. I think Primal Groudon should be like 20m tall, maybe 25 to emphasize the titanic scale
Yeah, I mean in games and in some variations of the animations, we see Groudon literally standing up out of the same water kyogre just be chillin in. Makes that fool a scarier size than Godzilla.
Yep
Then he becomes Godzilla
Titanic… lol
i think rayquaza should be 1000 meters bc i think it would be cool
I like how Cosmoem is the tiniest and heaviest Pokemon
ash must be stronk.
And Ash carried it in his bag lmao 😂😂😂😂😂
@@safalyadas5435 Lilly did it first. She never skips leg day.
@@safalyadas5435 So Ash is stronger than Steve (Minecraft)?
@@foldingfan7773 no. Steve can carry an entire cubic metre of gold, which is over nineteen times heavier than Cosmoem
Some of these were definitely measured by length imo, like Kyogre and Thundurus Therian, but still a good estimate for a lot of these Pokemon! What surprised me the most is actually about how small Necrozma is, I thought it'd be closer in size to Solgaleo and Lunala, but it's not! Just goes to show how its base form really is its "weakened" form :o
The zamazenta and zacian ones are false, because its measured as if they were bipedal, yet he didnt do that, and yall are messing em up for it. He's human. Chill
Necrozma is actually bigger than both Solgaleo and Lunala, as you could see in the intro videos. It's just measuring from the ground up is not the way to measure Pokemon. For pokemon with indefinite shapes, they just use the size of the torso on the information.
Funniest for me was all the Regis compared to regigigas
@@memesfrommycomputer fuck sake you really did just copy and paste the same comment even tho everyone is already being chill, huh? And when people call you out on your bs, you just say "cry"
Absolute clown behaviour lmao

I find it interesting in that it seems a lot of the anime episodes show relatively accurate heights for these pokemon with one of the major exceptions being the legendary birds. In pokemon 2000 they are shown as being more than twice the size of a normal person.
But then there's zygarde complete being a titan from aot whilst his canon height is the same as zygarde 50%
Pretty sure some of them are just big variations or they just wanted the added coolness
Wasn't groudon and kyogre huge in the anime?
@@kofalofa6648 yeah. Groudon is also able to walk through the ocean without any problem, which means he is just that massive

@@davidpa6998 i honestly thought of Bleach when I first heard this
As soon as I saw this comment I was at the part lol
Honestly I like the idea of legends being insanely huge, and seeing kyogre that big made that part of me very happy lol, I think these insanely powerful pokémon, some even being literal gods, should be massive honestly.
Dialga palkia giratina and arceus should all be Godzilla sized
Kyogre is measured head to tail
So they took the length measurement and made it the height measurement, which is why it's so big
Kyogre isn't actually that big unfortunately because they measured it wrong but it being that big and Groudon/Rayquaza being way bigger makes wayyy more sense
@@kofalofa6648no I should be, my shiny is black when primal so it makes sense
@@TheContientPokemon sry forgot about the goat
Kyogre is probably meant to be measured from head to tail, not flipper tip to flipper tip, making it a similar size to Groudon. However, this way is ok too as in the anime and stuff they are represented as Kaiju-sized behemoths, not barely taller than a professional basketball player.
Seeing Heatran height compared to a human reminds me of that random trainer with one on the anime.
Primal kyogre seems oversized but when you think about how bit the ocean is and how its basically the king of the sea then it kinda fits now we just need primal grouson to be similar in size showcasing the boldness of the earth and immense size of the sea
I never knew Regileki was so short. He's literally one of the legendary titans. I thought he'd at least be like 2.5 meters. Actually, all the titans are shorter than I thought
Zygarde is actually measured head to tail so hes shorter then his ccomplete forme.
I was going to say how did it shrink if anything when it takes thaf form hahaha
Now all check
3:41 Shiny Raikou doesn't look too bad
Would be better with entei colors, entei with suicune colors and suicune with raikou colors

Zekrom, the Legendary Dragon of Ideals, is as big as a dog that loves a Shield. Had to look it up and yeah, they're the exact same size. I'm not sure how to process this now.
Edit: So in a moment of stupidity I completely forgot you can measure a Pokemon by *length* as well as height. So what I actually meant to say is Zekrom is as big as Zamazenta is long.
The guy who decides the height of the pokemon needs to get fired.
They have probably measured Zamazenta with length rather than height
It's still wrong, since Zamazenta is supposed to be measured from head to tail, as all the Pokémon that are longer than they are tall.
You can see in the cutscenes that the Hero dogs simply aren't that big compared to the trainer.
No wonder eternatus’s eternamax form isn’t in game. That’s like owning Godzilla.
@@Dexuz the game proportions are way off lmao look at Wailord in the game it’s literally supposed to dwarf every other Pokémon in existence but it only appears as big as a Gyarados
I'm entirely taken out of the immersion of modern Pokemon games because of this. Seeing Groudon four feet tall, breaks me.
Oh I know, I'm not commenting about this video per se. I'm actually commenting about how the modern games have diluted the true sizes of Pokemon to such a degree, they're unbelievable. It breaks my immersion.
4 meters tall so. like 12 feet but still kinda smol, kyogre is shorter but longer and much wider
Reminder that Groudon would canonically still be able to fit inside of a room while anime Groudon is legit Godzilla sized
@@alexandergotze3323 AND manga groudon/kyogre! those guys are HUGE!

kyogre cool tall water type better than GROUDON
I don’t count the heights from the games as canon. In the movies, legends are massive, which make way more sense. Like Giratina for example; Ash is about half the size of one of the little red spikes on it’s wing.
Facts, I'll take the movie adaptation as cannon and the goofy games
The anime itself has inconsistent heights for pokemon 😂
Oleana Battle - 0:00
Gym Leader Battle - 2:41
Chairman Rose Battle - 5:18
Looking at how big the accurate Reshiram is, I'm just impressed at how well the scaling on their models from BW and BW2 got it.
Some of these I was like "yeah, I'd expect that to be the size of a child" and others were like "what do you mean Regirock isn't taller then Type: Null?!"
Imagine seeing eternatus irl and be like "yep, it's the end for me"
I really wanna get a game like PBR where we can see all mons with sprites/models that are actually made to appear accurate in size comparison! 🙏
Just once, just once, I want to see a size comparison video that understands the difference between height and length.
This is why I think the Sinnoh games’ height check and weight check features should be in all games. Really helps us better grasp just what it would mean to be next to a given Pokémon and what those numbers really mean.
Most of them are way smaller than what I thought they were, in the anime most of those big legendaries for me were super gigantic and over 20 feet tall, groundon for me was literally like godzilla.
I like how you shrunk the pokemon trainer so it really emphasizes how big the legendaries/mythicals are
I mean ten years old dont usually grow 200ft tall or something..
Extremely flawed comparison. The dex doesn't list exclusively height. For a lot of Mons it's their body length/wing span etc instead.
Most obvious example being (Primal) Kyogre.
Ah yes, Latios 2 Meters tall and going 56+ Kilometers per second (35+ miles per second) is unnoticed by most Pokémon fans.
6:37 7:44 kyogre jumpscare
Ho-oh is way bigger than I thought
Why is thundurus-t so much bigger than the other two?
It's tail. Game Freak is kinda all over the place in terms of how Mons are measured
Music choice is on point!
what is it called?
Okay but like... Phione is bigger than Manaphy? How the heck does that work? Its whole thing is that it's the offspring of Manaphy, whether that be in the wild or with Ditto in the Day-Care, and if we are to assume Phione doesn't change in size after hatching from an Egg...
Hopefully I don't have to explain this one. For all we know there could be little kids here who don't need to learn about reproductive biology just yet.
Uhhh mutation?
@@monsterteamtr6488 I would understand this more if Ditto wasn’t involved in the breeding process, or if two Manaphy could have a baby Phione egg. I get your point though 😁
@@bdt2002gaming i mean a fish evolves into a octopus in here how much logic ur expecting lol
@@monsterteamtr6488 It's not the animal that evolves, it's the theme. Going from a small Water Gun to an "Octazooka". It makes perfectly sense that way, the animals are just used because they are based on two water animals who shoot something.
@@mipho5899 Problem is, they removed the clearer reference when they altered from the original prototype designs. Remoraid had clear revolver styling, and Octillery looked more like a tank, with a helmet and tentacles that looked like tank treads coming off an actual body that was tank-like. I have zero clue why they thought scaling that element back as hardcore as they did was such a good idea. It just looks like fish into octopus now.
The problem with this video is that Pokémon that are longer than they are tall are supposed to be measured by head to tail, such as Kyogre or Giratina.
This is SPECIALLY the case with snake-like Pokémon, so no, Rayquaza simply isn't that stupidly big, and neither is Eternamax Eternatus for that matter, it's body is coiled up, making Gigantamax Duraludon the actual "tallest" Pokémon in terms of pure height.
The zamazenta and zacian ones are false, because its measured as if they were bipedal, yet he didnt do that, and yall are messing em up for it. He's human. Chill

@@memesfrommycomputer completely irrelevant reply???
@@spacecatsftw its not so cope. the body shape tells you what the 5 meters means. if the body shape is "snake-like" then it means from tail to head, etc
Nice vid keep up good work !
Pretty sure for serpent/fish pokemon like Rayquaza and Kyogre they're meant to be measured by length end to end not by width of the body
See I do agree with a lot of this but the scale is off for some just like animals are I believe that the Max height measurement should be measured at the head or hip (for quadrupeds) horns and antlers makes sense to increase the height but stuff like wings that go above the head I don’t think should contribute to the overall height of Pokémon so some of them would probably have been bigger in comparison to the trainer
You're right. Quadrupeds are usually measured from the shoulder to the ground. Unless Juichi Masuda has said otherwise, that would actually make many more of the quadpedal pokemon bigger than listed here.
@@potentdelirium I disagree because of the sizes of Spectrier and Glastrier vs Calyrex; if you take their heights to be to the top of their head then their size against the tiny Calyrex in the rider models seem to match pretty well, whereas they would be huge if it's the height to their shoulder
“People commenting on kyogre”
“Me completely shocked that eternatus-eternamax could pick up primal kyogre like a little baby”
Damn, i knew the mythicals were small but that's extreme 😂
Imagine having like a oddish with you and the opposing trainer pulls out a rayquaza😂
Most of this doesn't feel right. Probably because some mons are measured by their length instead of height. Kyogre seems too huge for Groudon to go up against lmao
I definitely think some of them are measured via wingspan and or length cuz some of them just seem too big especially for their counterparts
it also posts the question as to why is Primal Groudon taller than normal Groudon like I get it as you get older you get shorter normally, but why does the fantasy lizard creature have to abide by what humans do when aging?
I subscribe to the theory that each legend we see is akin to a sock puppet or a limb to a much larger, much stronger being that can push more energy into their facade to make it stronger at a critical moment. With Groudon, Kyogre, Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina we actively see them do this with Primal Reversion/Origin Forms. The Thundurus, Tornadus, Landrus, Enamorus set too, with their Therian forms. Arceus is confirmed to be such, so why not his strongest creations?
I imagine it's shorter now as it's not as powerful as it's primal form. More power=bigger typically in the pokemon world!
I never imagined Kyurem and Necrozma to be that small
everyone talking about Kyogre and ignoring how big Latios is compared to Latias for no reason
You thought you made a point but latios is just the bigger one out of the two
probably because Latios is the oniichan
I still wish the creation trio/arceus got some kind of form that really reflects their power and importance in the universe
Origin form for all of em but arceus
The fact that Groudon, the thing that literally pushed continents and their plates around, is shorter than a Basketball hoop, baffles me.
Nice video , whered you get the sprites
Lady Dimitrescu is the same exact height as Zekrom. Keep that in mind..
In anime and movies groudon kyogre and ryquaza are titan sized really massive here even normal pokemon will out size it
the unovan dragons are way smaller than i expected them to :p
I never knew Zacian or Entei were that tall the games don’t do them justice at all
Just imagine someone pulling out a gigantimax Eternatus and being like "where'd your Pokémon go?..."
And they're just like
"Look up"
Been out of the loop since gen 4 and when I saw gigantamax regigas in battle I was like Noooo way the games are now going by the cannon sizes? Then I searched up a bunch of waillord battles and got disappointed. I think having a sprite so big that it forces the camera angle to change would make pokemon seem so much cooler.
Imagine the balancing if height had anything to do with damage calculation in the games.
Everyone else is talking about how some Pokémon were measured wrong while I’m here trying to wrap my head around the fact that Celebi is over half a meter tall

wow I know latios is supposed to be like an older brother to latias, but holy mother of arceus its bigger than her when mega
Honestly, the GMax heights are closer to what I would imagine for some of these Mon, especially the Creation Trio, Arceus, Regigigas, and Zygarde Complete
What music is used in this vid?

Oleana's battle theme from Sword and Shield
I did not realize we had that many legendaries till now, damn
5:51 I don't know about anyone else, but I feel like Arceus always seemed dog sized to me. Even Pokémon legends Arceus it didn't seem huge, but 3.2m is pretty cool and does make it seem much more worthy of its status as pokegod, even if it's not the biggest.
But yeah I think a lot of these heights are misleading because they measure length as the height, or birds by the wingspan perhaps (no way ho oh and Lugia are bigger than regigigas... Even if regigigas is still smaller than I thought)
You've got a strange imagination, lol. I always thought more like a horse or big goat.
@@wallflower4340 I guess it is kinda weird.
