I know it's not exactly melee only, I shoot their legs sometimes to immobilize them and go for cooler animation kills. These clips were captured on the PS5 with 60 fps, on a lower difficulty so I can have fun with melee only.

As you show, bottle/brick/gunshot stun followed by killing melee strike (with both heroines) is _extremely_ effective and definitely saves a lot of precious ammo. It helped me tremendously for my Grounded run. It's also very fun to spam!

@@shuteye2702 Joel did killed/overpowered several armored FEDRA soldiers, hardened smugglers, murderous hunters, bandits, cannibals and wiped out approximately 29 armored, elite members of the fireflies alone. Not to speak about the hundreds of infected he had gunned down or beaten with his bare fists. He is definitely not just some “good survivor”. He was a killing machine and the only way he could have been put down was by being taken by surprise by a girl he put his trust previously, thus lowering his guard.
