Wow. I love the concept! Best part is, as long as you aren’t seen during the planting process, either by the victim or by some random NPC, the crime never gets pinned on you, even if you are in broad daylight as they keel over! Amazing. Simply. Amazing.
@@sonnitude thank you so much! Yes, that is the best part! Some NPC suddenly drops dead and everyone else just looks around and shrugs as you sneak up to the next victim
The only thing I would really change in this is how you leveled pickpocket and alchemy. I get the thief stone, head to whiterun. I then sleep at the inn and in the morning once I am well rested I seek out the alchemist merchant. She can train you up to 75 skill. So I buy 1 point of training, then pickpocket my gold back. This will level pickpocket and alchemy in tandem. Once you hit 50 skill the price for training jumps so ensure you have about 2500 gold total to prevent having to leave to afford the leveling. I also ensure I have the spell muffle so I can train illusion for leveling purposes just in case you need it to access the next level as you will only be able to train 5 points per level. Once I hit 100 pickpocket and 75 alchemy I just buy up her stock of reagents and start making very expensive potions. I then save game, smack her, and load my save game to reset her inventory. I then buy all her reagents again and sell the potions I made back to her thereby recovering the money I spent on reagents and making a significant profit while at it. Good video. Subbing.
@@Fahluaan Another good method for leveling pick pocket is using the skill trainer in the thieves guild, and pick pocket him after every skill buy. Just found your channel today, been binge watching it. Very good and interesting build videos so far.
@@Lynora that's another great tip for me to try! I suppose the same could be done with the Beggar in Windhelm (although only to 75 pickpocket) if the build wasn't going to join the thieves guild. I'm glad you've been enjoying the Channel and thank you for commenting!
No, I can't use any mods since I play on Nintendo Switch. I hadn't played many builds with high-level pickpocket up to this point, so also wasn't aware until a friend told me.
@@Fahluaan Well Icewraiths are vulnerable to most poisons, but resist turn undead. They are living creatures 😱 Ghosts bleed from melee damage, but take no poison damage. Wispmoms too.
There is. Wear the ebony mail. Double equip a cloak spell. It counts as an effect rather than a poison but it does decent damage when you got all the modifiers right. Plus it muffles you.
Yeah, Fevvy was a major inspiration to get back into Skyrim and start recording my builds. Hopefully I've struck the right balance between paying tribute to that and generating unique content.
Yes but unless you use weapons you can't defeat alduin or beat up tsun? So why not level one handed at least? You can use poison on the blades too to fit the build.
Had no idea you could farm river Betty's at a hatchery. I knew they make some of the best poisons but relatively hard to come by. With a hatchery though...omg. Everyone is getting poisoned.
Ha ha bring on the poisoning! River Betty is also a good ingredient for Alteration potions, and if you have Anniversary Edition you can farm the creation club fish in the Hatchery as well.
New subscriber here. Great content, in the process of building this now. Wanted to build a stealthy character that isn't a stealth archer by default. This is awesome! Question...what poison do you suggest for dragons when I finally get to that part of the game? You rock Man! Keep em coming
Thanks for subscribing! That's a great question. Unfortunately, poisons of paralysis and slow don't work on Dragons. I would first hit them "weakness to poison" followed by "damage health & lingering damage health". That way they still take damage if they fly out of reach. You can also use "damage magicka" poisons to stop them using breath attacks.
Thanks for the comment! Pesonally, I don't like the look of the Mage Hood, but the Torturer's Hood isn't able to be enchanted in my version. I also considered the Worn Shrouded Cowl but didn't like that much either... the character's ears also poked through that one.
Hey there! Back again after discovering a 4-effect potion that levels alchemy quite quickly, sells for a decent amount, and you can grow all 3 ingredients! You need Dragon's Tongue ( quickest grab is next to the Alchemy shop in Whiterun) , Fly Amanita ( there are 2 next to the sawmill in Riverwind where you speak with Helga/Ralof) and Mora Tapinella (everywhere between Helgan and Riverwood). Using this potion I was able to skip the grind for Salmon Roe, Nordic Barnicle and Garlic
Wow, that's an amazing discovery! How does it compare to the Creep Cluster + Mora Tapinella + Scaly Pholiota method? That method should give you ingredients for 15 potions per harvest, while this new method would be 12 (assuming just the small house with garden).
For Dragons you can apply poisons with the wieldable Fork or a Longbow with Practice Arrows since these are the lowest damage weapons for their classes. For things like Dwemer Automatons, you probably want to use the Spider Scrolls or staffs, since they won't level your other skills. I have videos showing both of those options in this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLW24ptZxj0HxL2Gs8Knninhtf9CVqpKgX.html&si=laJJT0kZz6tPiOgR
No, the build wasn't intended as a gimmick. I just wanted to try something different and sometimes it is fun to just go around towns planting poisons of paralysis or frenzy on NPCs. As for playability, it depends on how strictly you want to stick to reverse-pickpocketing poisons. If you want the build to be purely focused on that, then you will have to rely on sneaking past enemies that can't be pickpocketed or are immune to poisons, or you can direct a follower to fight them on your behalf. Otherwise, you can use the fork or the long bow with training arrows to poison enemies that you can't pickpocket. For enemies immune to poison, the Ebony Armor enchantment is supposed to still work since it seems to count as an effect rather than a poison, but it is fairly weak and impractical.
That's a great question! Unfortunately you have to apply poison to a weapon. I would recommend the Fork for melee (1 damage), or for ranged attacks, maybe a Long bow (6 damage) with the Practice Arrows (0 damage) from Angi's Camp.
