I'm unaware of any state that requires spark arrestors for on-road use.

Hey mate sorry just saw this! The exhaust was $1700AUD. I fit it myself and had a PCV fitted and tuned with cost $895.

I have the same bike and exhaust and mines doesn't do this. is your o2 sensors connected or is your bike tuned for this?

Did you buy the bike with the exhaust already fitted?

no, just yesterday I added it to the bike. I also removed the db silencer. not sure if that makes a difference

Did you buy your bike brand new? Only way it doesn't do this is if you have block off plates fitted.
