I'm with you on preferring Part III over Part II. Part III gets way too much hate. I think Part III would have done a lot better with the fans/critics if it came right after Part I. Daniel had become way too badass/skilled in Part II when he was in Okinawa to lose all of that skill and confidence in Part III. That being said, I love Part III and always have. It's my second favorite of the first 3.
ehh no part 3 was corny. Come on a man upset over something that happened like 2 years ago and hires his rich millionaire friend to make daniel pay? daniel was out of shape in that movie. It was just silly and childish.
People just didn’t understand that they were trying to make Barnes way more dangerous than chozen and Johnny. The problem I had was they should have 1. Had Daniel use the moves he learned from mr miyagi in the first 2 and Barnes flat out counter every one of them and 2. The final fight I felt they should have had Daniel take everything he learned from both miyagi and silver and put them all together at the end and over power Barnes in sudden death.
Karate Kid Part 3 is one of the most underrated sequels of all time. That movie gets way too much hate. Not as good as the original but very solid for me. Terry Silver is a better villain than John Kreese. It was the first Karate Kid movie I remember seeing in the theater, so maybe Im nostalgic for it. Its a darker Karate Kid movie and maybe thats why people dont like it.
You're right, Terry silver is a great villain! I think the thing that is a problem for people with karate kid 3, including me, is that Daniel is a bit of a pain in it - like he looses a bit of the likeability that first captured people in the early movies
You’re not alone man with your ranking and putting Karate Kid 3 at number 2! Honestly if I was gonna rank the Karate Kid movies my list would be almost identical to yours. I might just switch your number 4 and 5 picks
Nice ranking :). Me: 5. The Karate Kid Part III - 5/10 4. The Next Karate Kid - 6/10 3. The Karate Kid 2010 - 8/10 2. The Karate Kid Part II - 10/10 1. The Karate Kid - 10/10
I watched through all five movies the last few weeks because I want to watch Cobra Kai. I was surprised with how much Cobra Kai content that you and Sean Chandler put out that you haven’t reviewed the films yet. I 100% agree on the reboot being last I could not take the kids serious at all in that movie. Jaden Smith looking like a ripped 10 year old and the villain kid had one facial expression the entire movie: mad.
I agree with your rankings, especially your love for III. That scene where Myagi gets the best of all 3 of the villains at once, was my favorite scene out of all the movies. It was showing just how great he was himself.
5. The Next Karate Kid (FUCK THIS MOVIE) 4. The Karate Kid Part III (SKIP IT) 3. The Karate Kid Part II (STREAM IT) 2. The Karate Kid (STREAM IT) 1. The Karate Kid (1984) (GO OUT AND BUY IT)
Excellent ranking video! I agree with everything you’ve said, but I’m not exactly sure where I’d place parts 2 and 3. I could easily see myself having the same ranking as you or I might put them in release order. The original is definitely the best and is such a classic. I love it so much and it’s in my top 10 movies of all time. I have huge nostalgia for the first three movies. I remember seeing part 3 in the theater when I was a little kid and I loved it. It’s very fun and it has a similar feeling to the original. My main problem with it is that it doesn’t really feel like a sequel to part 2. Daniel kind of seems like he’s reverted as a character and I don’t think he’d be as scared of Mike Barnes after being in a death match in part 2. I also don’t like that Miyagi’s love interest from part 2 is completely abandoned in part 3 with no explanation of why they’re no longer together. I think it would’ve been better if the stories of parts 2 and 3 were reversed. Take the opening scene of part 2 and combine it with the story of part 3 and I think it would’ve been better. Then the story of part 2 would work better as the third film in my opinion. Anyway, I agree with you about The Next Karate Kid and the remake. Part 4 is a pretty terrible movie but it’s so over-the-top and ridiculous that you can laugh it, whereas the remake was just boring to me. It was way too long and I didn’t find it that interesting. I’ll never watch it again and I doubt I’ll ever watch part 4 again, but the first three are so good that I can see myself watching them multiple times. And I love the music in them, especially when Daniel is training and there’s that beautiful, epic flute music.
I recently heard that at the time of filming the 3rd movie, the "love interest" was 16 and Macchio was like 28. So that's why they portrayed them more as "just friends" haha.
Ralph was 27 during the filming of Part III (It was filmed between December 1988 and March 1989), and yes Robyn Lively WAS 16 during the filming of this movie, but apparently the reason there was no kiss (romantic relationship) is because Ralph's wife didn't want him to have one and I don't think he did either.
My mouth dropped when you put 3 before 2. My order from worst to best is Next Karate Kid, The remake, Part 3, Part 1, and Part 2. And If I could I would just call one and two a tie. Of course everyone loves the original but part two just takes the story to another level imo, and it’s sooo entertaining. You mentioned the stakes being high in part 2 and they were, and thst is why part 3 was such a letdown for me. But I haven’t seen 3, The Next Karate Kid and the remake in years. I need to revisit maybe my order will change for those bottom ones.
I didn't watch the video yet but let me warn you, I unsubbed from Nostalgia Critic for comparing the Jayden Smith Karate Kid with the original one and saying the new one is better. I SWEAR TO GOD. Just kidding I know you're a guy who has common sense.
Efe Aydal I hate it when people say the remake is better than the original too. Jayden and his mom moving to Japan felt forced just for the sake of the plot of the movie. I do not think it is a bad movie. I just do not think it should be called Karate Kid and should be Kung Fu kid since the two martial arts are different. I do like the chemistry Jayden has with Jackie Chan. Doug Walker, his brother, Mike Michaud and Brad Jones are jerks anyway and they don't deserve any of the subscriptions they get after how they treated the other former CA video creators who left them. They deserved what happened and I wish they sue Doug, Rob and Mike for how badly they were treated.
Noah Hafer my point is that the movie made American Hollywood look bad to call American preteen learning Kung Fu as the same as Karate look bad because the two martial arts are not the same.
After the first 2, Daniel should have mopped the floor up with Mike Barnes but instead, he wouldn't lay off on all the macaroni and cheese and it showed!!!
Wow, I've never watched any of these except the remake and the original. I didn't even know PT3 existed. Loved Kobra Cai though so far so off to watch your reviews of those seasons!
This ranking is perfect. You kept it real on justifying part three is the number two movie. I think one and three have to be the top two because they both have cobra Kai and Daniel versus cobra Kai is what the karate kid is all about.
Absolutely loved these movies growing up, specifically the original and part 2. Number 3 was as you said Cody, over the top with things. But that's what makes it fun. My thoughts on Karate kid Part 4 and the Remake. The remake has its good and bad, the standout being Jackie Chan. As for part 4, I don't think I actually have watched it through to the end ever, it's that bad.
I think Part 3 would have been better for me if Daniel would have used the Kata in a little more impressive fashion. I was hoping to see him use it to defend Mike’s attacks more instead of just that one move
I’ve only seen the first 3 but here’s my ranking. 3. The Karate Kid Part ll 5.0/10 2. The Karate Kid Part lll 6.0/10 (Terry Silver is so good) 1. The Karate Kid 9.5/10 If Cobra Kai were an option it would skyrocket to #1.
Your ranking is perfection. I agree and its the same as mine. The remake was eh!!! who cares. When i finally saw the Next Karate Kid i didnt care anymore and this franchise truly rests with the original trilogy and "Cobra Kai" and its success on youtube red and now Netflix (thank God) is showing that. I cant wait for season 3!!!
Great ranking Cody! I know I'm really late, but I thought I left a comment already. 😂 I like The Karate Kid franchise, it's a fun series. I actually agree with you about KK3, it's not exactly great, but it's pretty entertaining and Terry Silver is nuts in a fun way. So my ranking here. 5. The Next Karate Kid. I liked Hilary Swank's character and her friendship with Miyagi, but the story is dull and the villains are terrible. 4. Karate Kid remake. Decent remake, decent performances, good final act. 3. Karate Kid 3. I agree with what you said, plus that scene of Miyagi saving Daniel is so good. 2. The Karate Kid. I haven't seen this film in years, but I remember it being really good. 1. Karate Kid 2. I grew up with this movie and I still love it, It's just a nice little story, might also be my favorite final act in this series. Thank you Cody, can't wait for Cobra Kai season 4!
I've never seen the remake, but I've enjoyed the first 4 movies. Yes I do think The Next Karate Kid is the worst of the 4, but it has some stuff in it I like. I do like the relationship between Mr. Miyagi and Julie and I think Pat Morita and Hilary Swank do the best with what they have. I also like the monk temple also. The over the top "villains" in it is what really hurts the movie for me though. It is most of the stuff they do that makes me face palm during the movie. You could say it is a guilty pleasure movie for me.
So, AGREE! KK part3 .... yes, it could have been better. I wish the movie could have ended like the book to where Daniel does his Kata moves against Mike Barnes differently. But Thomas Ian Griffith was the one that makes the movie so great, KK3 was and still is my guilty pleasure movie because of Terry Silver!! Great ranking Cody!! KK2 was good, but too heart throb moving for the teenage girls.
My order? 5) The Next Karate Kid (even though it would be awesome if Hillary Swank showed up in Cobra Kai) 4) Karate Kid 3 3) The Remake 2) Karate Kid 2 1) The original
1.) Karate Kid (I was Born in 04, so i didn't grow up with this movie like others, but this movie is amazing. Johnny is my favorite character and i think he's misunderstood. Tommy was funny and it's sad We'll never get to see more of him. Miyagi was funny as hell in this movie. Some scenes are cheesy, but i mean it came out in 84 so i can't judge. But overall, a damn good movie.) 2.) Karate Kid (2010) (This movie get's way more hate than it deserves. I actually love this movie. I love the original even more, but i don't like to compare the remake and the original because they both take place in two different places and that's why i love the remake, i love how it takes place in china. Jaden pretty much ruined his career throughout the years, but he was damn good in this movie along with Jackie chan.) 3.) Karate Kid Part 2 (This movie is really good and i love the confidence daniel get's in this movie. Chozen was such a good antagonist for daniel and i love how daniel learns even more in this movie than the first, but i enjoyed the first movie much more.) 4.) Karate kid Part 3 (This is definitely the weakest movie Ralph has played in. I don't understand how in part 2 he get's all this confidence in okinawa, but is to scared to go up against Mike. It would've made sense for this movie to be part 2 because i think it would've made more sense.) 5.) The next karate kid (This movie was so boring and i have no interest in watching it again. This was Pat's weakest karate kid Film by far, but he is still enjoyable to watch. The girl was so annoying and she complains about everything in this movie and it get's on my nerves.)
I was never a big fan of the orginal series. They just weren't my jam. So the biggest compliment I can say about Cobra Kai is I enjoyed so much that I know have the series on order from amazon so I can reevaluate series.
Wow, my last is exactly the same, surprised. Remake: Forgettable, Jackie Chan saves the movie for me. Next: I could re-watch the next before the remake due to the dynamic between Miyagi/swank. 2: I didn't really care for chozens character. I would put him along the villans in the next. Loved how we discovered Miyagis story. 3: the villans is what puts this behind the original. The psychological struggle Daniel endures works for me. 1 is just a classic, in my top 10 all time.
I ignore the fact that the Jayden Smith one happened, but my personal fav is the next karate kid, and that’s mainly because I’m a sucker for Hilary Swank, but it was goofy with the school bully cult. It’s still a fun watch.
Great list and I dont hate any of these films 1. The Karate Kid 2. The Karate Kid Part 3 3. The Karate Kid 2010 4. The Karate Kid Part 2 5. The Next Karate Kid
Here's my ranking 1. The original karate kid 2. Karate kid 4 this is the first film in the franchise that I watched I still love it 3. Karate kid 2 4. Karate kid 3 I have never watched the remake
I will put the remake on number 1 Because im Vietnamese, all Vietnamese see the remake first The remake has became a classic movie in Vietnam I watched the original, but i think i need to rewatch the original
My ranking, I liked 2 slightly, not much, but slightly more than the first, so... 1. Part 2 2. Part 1 And the other 3 can be interchangeable. But yeah, I put them on my Vudu, which BTW, thanks to my Movies Anywhere, could also watched on Amazon and UA-cam, but put it on Vudu to play in the background while I was playing through my newest batch of games from F95 Zone earlier this week.
Great ranking Cody. My ranking Including Cobra Kai Is 1. The Karate Kid ( 10/10 Excellent film ) 2. Cobra Kai ( 10/10 Excellent T.V series ) 3. The Karate Kid 2 ( 7/10 Good Sequel ) 4. The Karate Kid 3 ( 5.5/ 10 Average film ) 5. The Next Karate Kid ( 4.5/10 Not that great but I have a soft spot for It because I grew up with it ) 6. The Karate Kid Remake ( Can't really rate this film. Watched It once and really don't care to rewatch It )
I rank them in the same order and to be fair, a lot of it is going to come down to age and whether or not you remember the original trilogy while they were still culturally relevant. The problem with the 2010 remake was that it was abstract. It was a random African American kid in China about a movie on Kung Fu. The kids were also pre teenage age which is why it didn't quite work. Kids at that age just aren't that scary as they're not capable of that kind of violence and this made the movie unbelievable. The movie wasn't relatable for these reasons like how the first one was. Everyone remembers what it was like to be finding yourself in the high school years and having to deal with the peer pressure of fitting in along with really noticing girls for the first time. The 2010 tried to implement this but it just didn't work. This, on top of the 80's nostalgia vibe is why most people who remember the original will rank that as the best one and put the remake in last place. I watched Part III at the cinema and it's definitely better than how it was perceived at the time. I think it was underrated at the time due to the fact that Daniel was older and so was out of that high school environment which worked so well for the original.
nice ranking cody it's funny how you talked about sato's nephew chozen in part and terry silver in part 3 their both rumored to be coming to season 3 of cobra kai and i loved all three of the original movies i didn't like the remake and the next karate kid was kinda meh to me lol.
The Karate Kid 3 is a really bad movie. The acting is horrible and the lines were just cheesy. BUT, the fight at the end is awesome! I love the way that they used Kata in the final fight.
Awesome video man, in my fandom with edits I did. I say that part 3 is the second movie and part 2 is the 3rd. My ranking Part 1 Part 2 but 3 in my version Part 3 but part 2 in my version Cobra kai season 3 Cobra kai season 1 Cobra kai season 2 I hate next karate kid and the 2010 was ok.
I rewatched 3 and i look at it differently Daniel is the his own villain rather than Kreese terry and barnes. This biggest complaint is Daniel can beat Chozen but cant beat Karates bad boy Mike Barnes. Though Myagi says in the end “Daniel san okay to lose to opponent, but must not lose to fear” Daniel is always afraid he allows himself to be picked on and be the little guy but here he finally says fuck that and becomes the man we see at the beginning of Cobra Kai. A Winner. Also props to Ralph Machio his choreography was always pretty good considering they did their stunts and when he bust on that Kata with the score especially right after Myagi is telling him not to lose to fear makes me like the movie
I haven’t seen the original 3 Karate Kid movies in so long, I should definitely rewatch the first 3. I will not rewatch the remake and definitely won’t rewatch the Next Karate Kid
I actually prefer KK part 3 over KK part 2. KK3 is probably not a well made movie but because of its silly plot and over the top villain makes it more enjoyable for me. I enjoy it.
My ranking is the same except I put the next karate kid at 5 and Jackie Chan at 4.. 1. Karate Kid 2. Karate Kid 3 3. Karate Kid 2 4. Karate Kid 2010 Jackie Chan 5. The Next Karate Kid
The fact that he does Kung Fu instead of Karate in the remake completely ruins it for me. Styles do in fact matter, but most people just see punching and kicking without the meaning behind it. I also think Mike Barnes is an extremely underrated character. Sean Kanan has great screen presence.
Perfect ranking, Cody.👍
Part 3 is better than people say it is.
yup
Ralph Macchio is actually a year older than Thomas Ian Griffith, which is funny when you consider their roles in part 3.
Yeah, I feel like Part 3 and Part 2 should have swapped. Maybe Part 3 should keep Part 2's intro, but other than that, yeah.
ehh no part 3 was corny.
The final fight I felt they should have had Daniel take everything he learned from both miyagi and silver and put them all together at the end and over power Barnes in sudden death.
For the first time in 4 years we finally have a franchise ranking that is EXACTLY the same. Original Karate Kid is in my top 10 favorite movies
Mine barnes es el.villano y o pene te mas temible que he visto en toda la saga de niño me aterrorizo y ahora que soy adulto me sigue dando miedo.
I agree with you on part 3. I always enjoyed this installment.
Nice ranking :). Me:
5. The Karate Kid Part III - 5/10
4. The Next Karate Kid - 6/10
3. The Karate Kid 2010 - 8/10
2. The Karate Kid Part II - 10/10
1. The Karate Kid - 10/10
Completely agree with this ranking but I give Part III a 7/10 and PT II an 8/10
@@Tomversal thank you for commenting, cuz I need to update this
karate kid 2010 is shit
Part III was honestly good just wanted to see Mike Barnes fight the other competitors for me a 8/10
I watched through all five movies the last few weeks because I want to watch Cobra Kai.
I had the exact same ratings Cody, nicely done 👌 I love KK3, so underrated. Terry Silver is a legend.
I agree with your rankings, especially your love for III. That scene where Myagi gets the best of all 3 of the villains at once, was my favorite scene out of all the movies. It was showing just how great he was himself.
All Cody has to do is upload and I’m here. Badass content
Agreed.
The foot in the thumbnail, I’m dead hahahahaha. Cody is the man
For me Part II's always been my favorite, the Okinawa setting just made it more interesting.
Holy banana sandwich Batman me and you finally 100% agree on something
I agree 100% with your ranking and would put them in that order myself, the original trilogy is awesome, glad I saw them all on the big screen.
5. The Next Karate Kid (FUCK THIS MOVIE)
4. The Karate Kid Part III (SKIP IT)
3. The Karate Kid Part II (STREAM IT)
2. The Karate Kid (STREAM IT)
1 the karate kid 1984
2 the karate kid 2010
3 the karate kid 2
4 the karate kid 3
5 the next karate kid

I didn't watch the video yet but let me warn you, I unsubbed from Nostalgia Critic for comparing the Jayden Smith Karate Kid with the original one and saying the new one is better. I SWEAR TO GOD.
Just kidding I know you're a guy who has common sense.
Isnt that the guy who said The Wall is garbage? Yeah you shoulda known what you were getting into subscribing to that jackass
@Noah Hafer You're probably young and have NO nostalgia connected to the original
Efe Aydal I hate it when people say the remake is better than the original too. Jayden and his mom moving to Japan felt forced just for the sake of the plot of the movie. Awesome ranking man!
After the first 2, Daniel should have mopped the floor up with Mike Barnes but instead, he wouldn't lay off on all the macaroni and cheese and it showed!!!
I agree with this list 100%. Part 3 honestly besides the final fight I thought it was definitely the most entertaining and rewatchable one.
Aaaand welcome to wikifeet.
I’ve always loved Part 3
5: the next karate kid
4: the karate kid (2010)
3: the karate kid: part 3
2: the original karate kid
1: the karate kid: part 2
Wow.
Wow, I've never watched any of these except the remake and the original. I didn't even know PT3 existed. Loved Kobra Cai though so far so off to watch your reviews of those seasons!
part 3 is awesome!
Perfect ranking bud! I've always enjoyed part 3!
I love 'Karate Kid Part 3' also. Saw it at the Odeon Cinema in 1989. Great stuff 👌
I am so glad you liked the 3rd one! Not too many people do but I love it ! So happy! 😃😃😃
1,Karate Kid
2,Karate Kid 2
3, Karate Kid 3
4, Karate Kid (2010)
5, The Next Karate Kid
I remember a summer as a kid trying to master the crane kick 🤣 thx for the memories Cody!
This ranking is perfect. You kept it real on justifying part three is the number two movie. I think one and three have to be the top two because they both have cobra Kai and Daniel versus cobra Kai is what the karate kid is all about.
So glad Terry Silver is coming back. Season 4 is gonna be a blast.
Never understood the hate for part 3. So glad you enjoy it.
Your video convinced me to check out Cobrai Kai. I also love Karate Kid 3, it has a lot of nostalgia for me.
PART III was fucken awesome
9:23 Season 2? Lmao. Great ranking! Keep it up
Easy. Best to worst:
1. I
2. Part II
3. Part III
4. IV: The Next Karate Kid
5. Remake
So the quality gets worse?
Part III is also my 2nd favorite. It’s far too entertaining
I think Part 3 would have been better for me if Daniel would have used the Kata in a little more impressive fashion. I was hoping to see him use it to defend Mike’s attacks more instead of just that one move
I’ve only seen the first 3 but here’s my ranking.
3. The Karate Kid Part ll 5.0/10
2. The Karate Kid Part lll 6.0/10 (Terry Silver is so good)
1. The Karate Kid 9.5/10
If Cobra Kai were an option it would skyrocket to #1.

I cant wait for season 3!!!
I agree with you about Part 3 being more entertaining than part 2. I will NEVER watch the remake out of principle- you don't remake a GOAT.
This ranking is the same as mine and im glad part 3 gets some love
You forgot about Mike barnes in karate kid 3 he reminded me of clubber lang in rocky 3
Oh, and another great thing about Part 3: We finally get to see the full power of Myagi unleashed, at the time its needed the most. Very satisfying.
My list:
5: The Next Karate Kid
4: The Karate Kid (2010)
3: The Karate Kid Part lll
2: The Karate Kid Part ll
1: The Karate Kid (1984)
#1. The Karate Kid (1984)
#2. The Karate Kid Part II
#3. The Karate Kid Part III
#4. The Karate Kid (2010)
#5. The Next Karate Kid
I couldn’t agree anymore with you about the 3rd movie. I like it much better than 2. So good
Keep up the awesome work bro 👍
I think this is the first time one of my rankings matched up perfectly with yours lol. Part III gets way too much hate!
My order?
5) The Next Karate Kid (even though it would be awesome if Hillary Swank showed up in Cobra Kai)
4) Karate Kid 3
3) The Remake
2) Karate Kid 2
1) The original
1.) Karate Kid (I was Born in 04, so i didn't grow up with this movie like others, but this movie is amazing. Johnny is my favorite character and i think he's misunderstood. Tommy was funny and it's sad We'll never get to see more of him. Miyagi was funny as hell in this movie. Some scenes are cheesy, but i mean it came out in 84 so i can't judge. But overall, a damn good movie.)
2.) Karate Kid (2010) (This movie get's way more hate than it deserves. I actually love this movie. I love the original even more, but i don't like to compare the remake and the original because they both take place in two different places and that's why i love the remake, i love how it takes place in china. Jaden pretty much ruined his career throughout the years, but he was damn good in this movie along with Jackie chan.)
3.) Karate Kid Part 2 (This movie is really good and i love the confidence daniel get's in this movie. Chozen was such a good antagonist for daniel and i love how daniel learns even more in this movie than the first, but i enjoyed the first movie much more.)
4.) Karate kid Part 3 (This is definitely the weakest movie Ralph has played in. I don't understand how in part 2 he get's all this confidence in okinawa, but is to scared to go up against Mike. It would've made sense for this movie to be part 2 because i think it would've made more sense.)
5.) The next karate kid (This movie was so boring and i have no interest in watching it again. This was Pat's weakest karate kid Film by far, but he is still enjoyable to watch. The girl was so annoying and she complains about everything in this movie and it get's on my nerves.)
5. The Next Karate Kid
4. The Karate Kid Part 3
3. The Karate Kid (1984)
2. The Karate Kid (2011)
1. The Karate id Part 2
5. The Next Karate Kid
4.The Karate Kid (Remake)
3 The Karate Kid
2.The Karate Kid Part III
1.The Karate Kid Part II
I was never a big fan of the orginal series. They just weren't my jam.
So the biggest compliment I can say about Cobra Kai is I enjoyed so much that I know have the series on order from amazon so I can reevaluate series.
MY WORST TO BEST
5. Karate Kid (remake)
4. Karate Kid Part III
3. The Next Karate Kid
2. Karate Kid II
1. Karate Kid
Great list and I dont hate any of these films
1. The Karate Kid
2. The Karate Kid Part 3
3. The Karate Kid 2010
4. The Karate Kid Part 2

1. The original karate kid
2. Karate kid 4 this is the first film in the franchise that I watched I still love it
3. Karate kid 2
4. Karate kid 3
I have never watched the remake
I need to get around to watching The Next Karate Kid. And I do have to agree that part three is more of a fun ride than part two is
Made my day as always keep up the good work dude been subscribed since 5thousend subs

Really that's really cool
My personal ranking best to worst:
1. Karate Kid Part 2

3. Karate Kid
4. Next Karate Kid
5. Karate Kid Part 3

Burgerking FootLettuce
My ranking 5. The Next Karate Kid 4. The Karate Kid Part lll 3. The Karate Kid 2010 2. The Karate Kid Part ll and 1. of course The Karate Kid 1984
I will put the remake on number 1
Because im Vietnamese, all Vietnamese see the remake first
The remake has became a classic movie in Vietnam
I watched the original, but i think i need to rewatch the original
But the movie is called The Karate Kid and yet it's all about Kung Fu, a totally different martial art. Unforgivable.
@@TheJokesterSCR Yes
I know the remake is all about Kungfu not Karate
@@roy6592 That should disqualify it from being number 1 lol! Just busting your balls dude.
@@TheJokesterSCRi rewatched the original
i changed my mind, the original number 1
My ranking, I liked 2 slightly, not much, but slightly more than the first, so...
1. Part 2
2. Part 1
And the other 3 can be interchangeable.
My ranking Including Cobra Kai Is
1. The Karate Kid ( 10/10 Excellent film )
2. Cobra Kai ( 10/10 Excellent T.V series )
3. The Karate Kid 2 ( 7/10 Good Sequel )
4. The Karate Kid 3 ( 5.5/ 10 Average film )
5. The Next Karate Kid ( 4.5/10 Not that great but I have a soft spot for It because I grew up with it )
Cobra Kai season 3 will introduce Hilary Swank. She will be replacing Ralph Macchio. The audience wont even notice.
Karate kid was my childhood
The Karate Kid 3 is a really bad movie. The acting is horrible and the lines were just cheesy. BUT, the fight at the end is awesome! I love the way that they used Kata in the final fight.
Awesome video man, in my fandom with edits I did. I say that part 3 is the second movie and part 2 is the 3rd.
My ranking
Part 1
Part 2 but 3 in my version
Part 3 but part 2 in my version
Cobra kai season 3
Cobra kai season 1
Cobra kai season 2
I hate next karate kid and the 2010 was ok.
Been marathoning these Terry Silver in 3 makes me LMAO.
Leave him alone johnny he's had enough.
“I decide when he’s had enough”!!
@@salwashabazz7329 top movie.
"Shut up, Bobby!" "Look at him, Dutch! He can't even stand up!" "That don't mean squat! The enemy deserves no mercy!"
“Right”?!!!
The next karate kid is my favorite of the franchise. Man people really really hate that movie😂
I actually prefer KK part 3 over KK part 2. KK3 is probably not a well made movie but because of its silly plot and over the top villain makes it more enjoyable for me. I enjoy it.
7.Next Karate Kid
6.Karate Kid 2
5.Karate Kid Remake
4.Cobra Kai Season 2
3. Karate Kid 3
2. Cobra Kai Season 1
1.Karate Kid
You've got the top 4 right just not in order
Part 2 is the best. I am the man, that will fight, for that movie
I love the karate kid remake I would either put it number 1 or 2
Im with you till number 3 , Part 3 is not better than 2 🤣 , im usually ok with these lists and let it go but i couldn't let this go 🤣
I’ve been waiting for this karate kid is my favorite movie of all time followed by the princess bride and dream warriors that’s my top 3!!
1. The Karate Kid
2. The Karate Kid 2
3. The Karate Kid 3
4. Karate Kid(2010)
5. The Next Karate Kid
Im totaly agree with the top rated franchise🙂
My ranking is the same except I put the next karate kid at 5 and Jackie Chan at 4..
1. Karate Kid
2. Karate Kid 3
3. Karate Kid 2
4. Karate Kid 2010 Jackie Chan
The end scene in KK3 between Daniel and Miyagi might be the best in the entire franchise.
i agree with your ranking
