Alright mate, great video to start off. Love to see someone detailing their own car, may I suggest a follow up on your TT with an interior clean? That would be great to see. I admire your attention to detail by the way! I'm not a professional detailer at all, more of a hobby to detail my 2 cars. Ones a 2012 Yaris. (My favourite) and a 2008 Lexus IS250 (passed its time tbh) looks great but just doesn't do it for me anymore! Saving right now maybe to swap the Lexus for the Toyota GT86, all in my head for now anyway! Lol the one thing I'm trying to do is use less water when washing, even though I use a marcher K5 eco, but I use 3 buckets like your self. But I've swapped for 2 smaller buckets after I dropped a case of water on one... and trying to conserve my products too, like tyre dressing, detail spray etc, anyway keep up the work, all the best for the new year, and by the way I've been subbed for a few months now. Good luck
Nice video bud. I love the Adams wash pad. Only downside I have with it is that it holds that much water I have top top up my wash bucket half way through my wash lol. Good luck with the new house.
Quality video as always Joe, to the point and always clear to understand the processes involved. Lovely car the TT, I used to have one myself and it was always a joy to clean......so rewarding....keep the videos coming in 2017...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Enjoyed Ep01 video...but this one was a lot better because of the commentary. couldn't agree more a lot of people don't put enough emphasis on the pre wash which makes the job easier.
A mix of both is really good I think. It's good to have times where you can sit down and just watch a full detailing video to get some good inspiration and see products in action, but then at the same time the shorter 4-5-6 minute videos are great as snapshots focused around products etc. I think a mix of both is best!
It may well be a noob question, but can you use any old pressure washer? I'm afraid the one I have, has a too strong blast. I've had paint chip on an oem alloy wheel, whilst keeping at least 50cm distance 🤔
Which pressure washer do you have? My Kranzle is capable of over 1500 psi but I run it between 1000 and 1200. This is very powerful and not had any issues. I think the biggest problem people have with pressure washers is the fact the paint under it is bad. On factory paint you should have no issues. Plus. I'm never closer than 50cm away from the paint. Hope this helps.
Nice video and content Joe. The wash techniques used in this video; will they inflict any light swirls to the paintwork? I tend to only wash half a panel at a time between rinsing with a microfibre madness mitt.
+Ross Wilson Cheers for the comment Ross. I haven't had any issues with this technique yet. But if you have a method that works for you, stick with it :) ,Joe
hey mate, thanks for your videos, they're great. What dilution do you use in your mesto sprayer? I will be ordering one today and I have VP Citrus which is similar to AF. I guess you use hot water too?
hakman239 I've just purchased my first house so me and my other half have been on that. this was my first weekend off of it! ... moving in this weekend. sorry for the delay ;)
Aqib Javaid lets see you do a vid while talking for 40 odd minutes so that we can take the piss out of you coz your name for starters is dog shit, what woman names there son Aqib 😭🖕

I love that with the drying process everything you did during the wash comes together :D

Do you try wheels and then wash the car or do you clean the wheels clean the car and then dry the wheels last after drying the car? Thanks
Nice video as always, just an open question does the citrus prewash diminish the wax properties in any way? It seemed to really help
Aaron Slevin it doesn't! This is a he great thing about Citrus Power.
hey mate, thanks for your videos, they're great.
What dilution do you use in your mesto sprayer? I will be ordering one today and I have VP Citrus which is similar to AF. I guess you use hot water too?
Tomáš T. Thanks for your nice words!
The Auto Finesse Citrus Power comes pre-diluted. So I just buy my five litres and decant it into my Mesto.
Joe
Good job
Joe, where can I purchase the wheel well brush (red and green) ? Is it available here in the states?
Never mind found it. Thanks!
Nice. How long does it take you to clean your car? It take me roughly 2 hours. And your right Iam dead after All the work lol
Natty Brah I have this and the interior done in a hour and a half roughly and then normally do my other halves car. Then I'm dead!
What do you dilute the citrus power down to?
Thanks!
Use it neat
+Graded I don't Dilute it as it comes pre diluted. I just buy it in five litres.
Joe
Where do you get ammo products from in uk?
Brought them direct from AMMO in the US and just paid the postage and import tax

Fujin Liow it has 81000 miles on it.

AMDetails Cheers dude. let me know if your near London in the new year!
Hey Joe... You should maybe try and invest in dollies for your buckets, will save you from hacking them around.
