Great video Steve the countryside is beautiful I must make an effort and go to that campsite not sure at my age I could do your walk but could do shorter ones. I like that you show the meals you cook they look delicious. Look forward to your next video.. 👋👋
Thanks Sue glad you liked it and my cooking elements 😃👍 A great shorter walk would be from Malham to Janet’s foss waterfall that was the first section I did. It truly is a stunning location.
Aye, that is still a campsite at Goredale scar. Beautiful spot, but I've heard the facilities can be a bit ropey. Wife and I prefer Malham Riverside, where while the facilities are still a bit rural we backpack in and don't really care. From what I've heard of the owner of Goredale scar campsite though, he's an absolute gent. Just standard North Yorkshire different.
Hi Dave yes I now know, common sense really when you think about it. Just before it lashed it down I was chatting with an old boy with his dog, so got a bit distracted and then the heavens opened. I’ll certainly know for next time 😀👍
Another cracking vid Steve,, loving that 'new' van of yours. If I may ask, what make / model awning have you got. I'm looking to buy one for my little van and yours looks just about the right size,,
Hi Steve just recently subscribed to your videos as looking to start getting out with my soon to be Peugeot expert campervan. Can I just ask what watch you wearing in videos please? Telling you sunrise/sunset and altitude. Many thanks
Hi Jamie thanks for watching, and subscribing much appreciated 👍 The watch is a Casio G-SHOCK Rangeman. I’ve had it about 4 years now great bit of kit.
So have you upgraded from the bike & tent, to the Ford connect now to a transit camper ? Never know if we’re coming or going 😂 So is this the end of 🏍🏕 now ?
Well worth the early start. That drone footage was epic.
Thanks Gaz, yes so glad I got up early, probably woke up the entire campsite with my phone alarm tho 😂👍
A new subscriber .... and thoroughly enjoyed your video.
Thanks Roger much appreciated, glad you enjoyed it 😃👍
Another great video. Easy to forget how beautiful this country is when you catch it at the right moment. Textbook bacon bap/barm/butty too.
Thanks Nick glad you enjoyed it. Yes we do live in a beautiful country. Can’t beat a bacon butty in the morn 😃👍
Living the dream Steve. Love the slow early morning pan shot. Countryside looks lovely....🚐👏👏☘

Thanks for the info I might give it a go there I think 👍
Looks fantastic steve,👍will you be doing any more wild bike camping
I certainly will Steve, 😃👍
You probably already been told, but if you have one awning leg higher than the other it stops the pooling. The water runs off the lower corner.

climbed up past the waterfall at Gordale Scar several times, it's doable just got to be careful
Bit of a raging torrent that day and loads of people about. Couldn’t really see a clear way up.

Thanks Roland glad you liked it. The awning is a Fiamma F45s
