I feel like I need to leave a pinned comment on this video letting people know this was very much a going in blind first impression and I give it another shot and talk more about olive undertones and their variations in the video I posted after this one.
With that said I am still iffy about the skin tint but i am looking forward to see how it wears in the upcoming summer months ❤

I wrote my comment before I watched the whole thing. You basically confirmed my opinion about this skin tint :) I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said about it! It's not bad at all, but it's not the best. And for that price it's a bummer.

I watched LE video where she applies this and she says start with 2-3 drops to cover the entire face and add another drop where you need more coverage. Of all the videos I’ve watched about this, 2-3 drops is not enough for anyone. This has been so hyped, I have it on the way🤦🏼‍♀️ I think it looks great on you but you’re right, it prob won’t last long!

I have found that 3 drops is perfect. This is so pigmented and is not meant to be applied like a foundation or tinted moisturizer. Make sure your face is well moisturized and it spreads nicely!

Wow! $49 for a skin tint 😮😂! I seriously love the Glossier foundation so much because it does everything I want! I’ve even been mixing a small amount with their tint and it’s really nice that way even though the foundation itself is already really natural. Also that tint color was off on you anyway. It was really apparent on the lower jaw, chin and mouth area. Also the flower top at the end looked so pretty on you!!! 😊

When you squirted all that skin tint on your cheek, I was yelling, " Whoa! Whoa! Too much. Too much."
    😂

I agree with everything you said about the skin tint. I was disappointed when I tried it because it looked much more glowy on the first video reviews on YT and IG, but it ended up being quite matte on me. I do prefer the Hourglass one for that reason. I would keep on wearing the Lisa skin tint with a glowy primer, but unfortunately it dried me out a lot because of the corn starch and silica in it. So for me it’s a bit of a fail.

Yes on other reviews I watched, it looked natural with a bit of glow but on me, it made my skin look dry and emphasized texture. Very unflattering on my skin unfortunately. As expensive this product is, I was hoping to love it but back it goes😞

I feel like it's not your shade. I've bought T5 as well. It's a bit dark and saturated for me on its own (I'm a muted yellow olive), but I've been mixing a dot of Givenchy blue skin corrector in it, and then it looks perfect. Maybe try mixing it in with something. As for the tint itself, I'm not sure I like it more than my beloved Chanel water tint. I can feel it on the skin, and it looks like makeup. While Chanel tint is undetectable on me.

100% agree with all of that

Yeah it does pull a lil too saturated, i prefer something a little more muted as well. I’vebeen eyeing that blue cc by givenchy 👀

We have almost the same skin colour.i am a cool olive , i have WA stick in 0.5 and it s a little bit too light for me and this for the moment is a little bit too dark but will be perfect for summer and autumn. It s very uncomplaining it s not streaky no patchy , no clingy to peach fuzz and it lasts like a foundation. So very happy!I just think you used a little bit too much i use what you do for one side for my whole face and maybe that s why you feel it more makeupy...
I got 0N in the liner and its the perfect neutral for me which no company had because my lips have almost no colour but for you maybe it would be too light...
The velvet lipsticks i am obsessed because she has the best neutral deep brown (velvet decade) and dramatic red i found (velvet jazz)for olive people and it lasts 5h with no problem eating and drinking and smoking. The only thing you have to be aware to not have dry patches on your lips because then it s a disaster!

I hope you’ll try it in the way LE intended before giving up - on top of a freshly moisturized face, use your fingers to spread 2-3 drops. It won’t gather and the color may be a better match for you if it’s not so thick. I didn’t believe it at first either but once I listened to her advice, it really does look beautiful when applied properly. LE’s formulas are based on her experience as a makeup artist so they are very much more pigmented than we are used to. Then you won’t go thru it so quickly either. I hope you’ll update us😊✨

I definitely applied too much the first go on camera-it was a first impression with me not watching any previous reviews. This is definitely my summer shade but it does look better when applied on top of a freshly moisturized face with less product. I’ll definitely check back in regarding it!

First time watching. Love your vibe. On the fence with the product-not sure it has skin-loving ingredients? Still deciding. Your review helped. And, sorry, that shade is not for you-way to green olive, and too dark. Your skin looked better before you put it on. Sorry! 🫶

No need to say sorry! The video i posted after this one i give it another chance and talk about all the different versions of olive brands have, but i agree the LE skin tint is very saturated and green. My fav skin match for fair olive is the kvd good apple balm foundation in 008, its more desaturated

Sorry, but you had me laughing....since when neutral can't be rosy??? ...neutral means is not too cool nor too warm....but even pinks can be neutral! Neutral does not define color 😅

🤷🏻‍♀️its described on the website as a neutral brown…and i said it looked rosy. Which it is. I understand what neutral means 😂

LE like CT is premium mediocrity! I've been shocked at the prices and always disappointed at the actual products.
