I love how the church was basically another instrument. So good.
How I love this band. How I hope “Painted Ruins” isn’t the end of it.
Hopefully they'll be more but most likely not sadly, atleast they ended strong and never made a bad album
@@ng3933 what do you mean with not sadly?
@@PedroJTH17 they might not come back together. Chris Taylor has a child now etc. But we'll see !
@@andrewpoderis8548 Yeah, and I heard they referred to Ed as being an ex member of the band. So sad.
@@makkietakkie omg where'd you see that at. Thats crazy. They all collectively bring their talents together pretty well.
Now I understand why I always felt the presence of angels when I listened to this song. How beautiful!
They sound like angels, ethereal and timeless.
Holy moly
Take on another shift
Palms in the middle, hands in the middle
Work out another rift,
Something is muffled, another juggle
This is a foreground
It is a foreground
A cross country miss
Take directions, can't connect it
I'm afraid this is
Ten detected, nine in a wreck and
A little jetty fight
Pattern evolving, motion insolvent
Something about this might
Take all evening, I'll just be cleaning
This is a foreground
It is a foreground
I'm be honest, I'm probably half of the views
Nothing will ever compare to this song or this recording, but I offered up my best effort.
One day, when I see them live, I'll get drunk and cry...
+Lando Cartel I did that without getting drunk, although I wish I had been a little drunk.
Nick Monzingo Stoned would do, too :) But I might cry sober as well...
Lando Cartel I cried my eyes out seeing them live. It was close to a spiritual experience. one of the best nights of my life.
Saaaame. SAME.
I feel absolutely the same way.
I just saw them tuesday and it was life changing
These are legit soul healing vibrations
Sounds absolutely phenomenal inside that building
This was filmed in Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. I live right up the block. I wish I really would have known. I'm always there.
You're always at the cemetery?
@@stevenv27 rip
Such perfection.
The only venue worthy of them.
andrew bird brought me here. and long time grizzly bear fan. this is amazing
Your music makes me feel alive.
This is the most beautiful thing i have ever heard
My heart breaks every time.
I am happy when I hear this.
Yes it was, Grizzly Bear did the whole soundtrack--it's terrific.
Beautiful
I don’t know how many times I got shivers watching this. Haunting and beautiful.
I have no words...😍
Phew. That was amazing.
They did the soundtrack!
They are amazing live x
Amen
Celestial
I've seen this before, one of my favorite performances
Traditional Catholic art is amazing. So inspiring and deep.
I really love this, but I wish they wouldn't have started showing the stain-glass windows when they were doing all the cool vocal things at the end.
So beautiful it is painful.
So so beautiful.
dan's playing a wurlitzer, a 200a maybe
beautiful performance
+ernesto a A"wurly" for sure!
Awesome
Nice camera work
Finally reuploaded! YES!
A saw the title of this video and I was thinking Grizzly Bear was going to cover Pantera. That would have been interesting.
Awesome!
Chris Tylor is playing a Contra Alto Clarinet. :)
It's a bass clarinet Estaban - I played one just like it for 20 years.
@@alanhaynes418 thanks for clarifying, I didn't really know the difference hehe n.n it sounds incredible in this piece
The only way to listen to this song

not even tempted to give this song its only dislike
thanks for the reminder
that's not something to be proud of...
Ed Droste is a hack... stop holding Daniel Rossen back
here's the chant version for at their shows:
Ed Droste is a hack, stop holding Daniel back!"
Benjamin Hoke How is Droste a hack? Ed started the band and Dan joined it later. Nobodys holding anybody back. Besides, Rossen has both a solo project and another band
Dude Rosen has Department of Eagles where he is the Lead vocalist lol besides, Ed started this band
Grow up, if you think that, you don't know sht about music or grizzly bear
Beautiful
