We had a great time on the Natchez...good food and a relaxing time. I imagine New Orleans has changed a lot over the years. It’s someplace we’ve always wanted to go, and I wish we’d done it years ago!
We bought a ticket that included the lunch, but you can buy a ticket just to take the boat trip. We got our tickets off of their website and that saved a little money.
They use three large rudders to steer this sternwheeler. The captain controls the ship with the wheel from the Pilot House. And they’ll let you tour the engine room which is very cool!
I was on this steamboat 1977.
It raises memories how New Orleans was than, a Great and hospitable City.
Southern hospitality ❤❤👍👍🏆

Great Video! Very thorough for someone not familiar with the area. My family appreciated this Thank You!
We had a great time on the boat, and in New Orleans as a whole! Great city, and we hope to get back there some day. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for doing the Natchez cruise, we are taking that one in August for 40th Anniversary but doing dinner cruise. At least I know what to expect.
Have fun, and Happy Early 40th Anniversary!
We did the brunch cruise in 2018. My wife loved the food and i loved the whole thing.
It was a lot of fun! We thought the food, the boat, and the music were all great. Glad you got to go!
Great Video. Well done. 😃👍
Thanks for that kind comment and for watching!
Great video, thanks for the information!
You’re welcome - hope it helped!
very nice
Thanks a lot for watching! Have you ever had the chance to go on the Natchez?
Beautiful 😍
It was a beautiful boat and a really fun trip! We’re glad we did it.
Ugh..still remember trying to enjoy a walk and a beignet at Cafe' du Monde and having to endure the hideous sound of that whistle.
That is one LOUD whistle!
this was alot of fun!!!!
The brunch was good and it was fun to see the ship and cruise down the Mississippi River.
Got to have Barq's Rootbeer that's a New Orleans Original!
Barq’s is great! Didn’t realize it came out of New Orleans.
It started in 1890 in the French Quarter man Named Edward Barq's ! In 1897 they moved to Biloxi Mississippi ! Check it on Wikipedia !
I’ll do that - thanks for the information!
Hi, was lunch included or was lunch an additional cost?

How does it steer?

Put it on your list of things to do whenever we get back to some kind of normal again!
