They should of left the 4 banger for the NX. And kept a V6 for the big boy. Smfh. Now I’m looking at 2020-2022 used RX models. I only would miss the big screen and the rear mirror screen. Oh and that rear heated and cooled seats. I’ll install my own LED lights on the interior. It will look brighter and better anyway. And those wheels on the luxury package, the 20 spoke 21 inch wheels look sexy. Other than that there’s a piece you can buy for wireless Apple CarPlay and android auto
I finally test-drove the 350H yesterday and was utterly disappointed by that engine's sound when it revs up, even in a hybrid setup. It is maybe a little bit quieter than the Rav4 Hybrid but not by much. I wasn't even flooring it but just regular driving in the city with passing/lane change/merging. The engine sound does not make it feel like a $60~70k car at all. Very disappointed. I also test-drove the new 2023 Outlander PHEV and that car is substantially more quiet even when the engine comes on. Yes different product but when a $45k car is more refined and quiet than a "luxury" brand car, something is not right.
@@Bonjour43ma Just drove to Charleston, S.C. and back from Nashville and love it (RX350 4 cyl with turbo). Once at cruising speed the car is as quiet as a mouse. Small potatoes in the scheme of things.
@@dangremillion yes if you're light on the throttle and at crushing speed, it's quiet. But living in a hilly city here, going up hills is a daily thing and that 4 cylinder noise is just not "Lexus-feel". I've driven supposedly lower tier hybrids like the new Outlander PHEV and the Rav4 Prime, and the Lexus didn't sound any better when pressed. Maybe my expectations were too high coming from the previous gen RX with the V6.
@@Bonjour43ma You are probably correct. Still the advantages outweigh the disadvantages as I look back on my personal experiences with BMW, Audi, and Mercedes I am a flatlander. Maybe Lexus will offer an optional 6 cyl engine without turbo next year if sales are off. In the meantime I will keep my radio tuned to XM jazz.
Awesome video! I love my RX 500h😊

Same here, I'll never get any Turbo/CVT/Battery vehicle ever ...
@@joselasseigne5136 Get the IS500?
What does virtual test drive mean? Isn’t this a real test drive? Btw I like the video but just curious
That 4 cylinder drone is awful 😢
