I got the line when it first came out and it worked just fine. You really can’t beat the price. The sales person said they were expanding the line to include a #1 and 2 similar to the 0 and 3 of the olaplex line, I am excited to try that!

Have you tried the oil yet? It's only 10 bucks, and I was looking at getting it vs the olaplex oil!
They do work! I got them because Sally's gave it to me for free because I work there and I was amazed! Me sames as you do Aislin bleach my hair often and put different colors and I instantly felt the difference
I saw this awhile ago in Sally's and now I wanna go back to get some! I'm growing my hair out and am going to try not to bleach it for a year just like you did! this is just what i need to maintain any health my current hair has left lol (will probs use some k18 then move to this to keep it healthy) im glad there are better value bonding treatment hair care out there, not all of us hair bleaching enthusiasts can afford the high end maintenance damage lol
I love the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, so I'm super happy to hear that this shampoo and conditioner is good. Given that the Olaplex shampoo/conditioner are like $30 a pop each for 8.5 oz, seems like this alternative is reasonable!
I love the Redken Extreme Bleach Recovery line.
I've been using this line myself and I absolutely love it! I have fine hair and this does not weigh it down at all. Plus I agree with you it does smell amazing! So happy you tried this

The Redden one actually is sulphate free! It isn't explicitly labelled as such but it is sulphate free.

4:05 the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo is sulfate-free (amazing stuff too 😊)
I used effasol to remove very pigmented punky colors alpine green. The effasol worked, but I didn't expect it to lift my roots as well. I rinsed it out and my heart dropped when I felt the mushy ends. I used this shampoo and conditioner as well as soapbox which has saved my ass before and I'm convinced it saved my hair. Love the line!

I’ve been using #5 for close to 2 years. I started with box colored hair that had been in a lot of direct sunlight. It was very dry, dull, brittle and it was actually crunchy! Within 2 months, I had much softer and smoother hair. Now I only use it every 3rd shampoo. I also liked K-18, but it was costly for a teeny weeny bottle!

Curlsmith has a bonding oil that’s really nice and cheaper than olaplex. Also, it’s not exclusively for curly hair

sallys employee here! been waiting for this review!!! ive tried just the conditioner and I was so surprised how similar it is to olapex! theyre also expanding the line in february with a hair primer, hair mask, a purple shampoo, and one or two other products I forgot what they were. hope you do another review with the expanded line!!
They have an oil now. Its called bonding concentrate.

I suggest trying Epres. It's a one step created by the scientist who helped to create Oloplex. I haven't tried it yet, but got some for Christmas. You can subscribe to get refills of the product for it's spray bottle. As you are licensed and all, I'm curious for your thoughts on it.

I went to buy the stuff you said was at Sally's before. They didn't have it. All they had was their own store brand.
Honestly, this stuff saved my hair, with more than enough left to save for later. Strength, shine, and my curls all came back to my overprocessed 4C hait.
My hair is like 3B/C…but only on the underneath. My hair looks and feels healthy but it must not really be since the top hair on my head is just “not straight” enough to be frizzy.
I’m going to pick this up for certain.

I bought this system not long after it came out. Now that I have been using it for awhile I honestly like the Redken Acidic Bonding system much, much better. This seemed pretty amazing at first, but after longer use I could really tell a difference between my normal Redken go to and this version. I'd love to know opinions from other people that have used this for awhile and can compare it to others.
If you could not afford the Redken, do you find the Bondbar to be an acceptable budget option?
@@erinhardick4803 I know I'm a bit late but If you're looking for a dupe for the Redken line you should give the loreal paris bond strengthening products a try. They just came out with a pre shampoo treatment that has basically the same ingredients as the redken pre shampoo and it works amazing. I love the shampoo and conditioner too.

I bought this when it first came out and I love it compared to Olaplex! $40 for the BondBar line and $210 for the Olaplex line um BondBar please! The Olaplex oil is to die for but the price will kill ya! I was told they are adding an oil sometime this year so fingers crossed it will be soon!! Muah!

As an aside, the brush you used doesn’t look like it’s the best for brushing through wet hair. I’d suggest getting the tangle teaser or even just using a wide tooth comb to brush wet or damp hair. That will also help with that breakage you are getting while brushing
I use a wet brush specially made for brushing wet hair 🖤
The brush she uses are the BEST. I even ditched the wide tooth comb for it.

Wanted to comment here and tell you maam. One of the top 6 nono's for dye is PPD. My poor Mommy just had am allergic reaction. I understand your not using the dye right now, do, but i noticed sulfates are in the product.
How is the scent compared to the Olaplex products (specifically Olaplex 6&7). The Olaplex bonding oil is the only product from the line I still buy, the smell is just divine. They have me until the end of time.
I just bleached the crap out of my hair so I really want to try this now!

Was tempted to try this but if it’s like the redken acidic bonding concentrate I think I’ll pass 😅. That stuff made me lose so much hair and ruined my scalp for months 😞
I love step 3, 4, and 5. No.6 however..... 🤨 idk what it is, but every time I try to use it, I'm left with this weird white film on my hands like there's some ingredient in it that doesn't absorb properly in my hair. I'm really looking forward to the line extension!

I think Brad Mondo said in his youtube video that the toning mouse did wash out, but your hair doesn't look as yellow as before you used it. What's your conclusion??

With something like this, or even the XMondo toning foam where you leave it in, can you add other styling products to it (like oil) or will it just weigh it down too much? When you look at the price of Redken or Olaplex from places like CosmoProf or SalonCentric, this is still cheaper, but not a huge savings IMO. It's always nice to save and not need a license.
Yes you can definitely add other products with the xmondo foam. It’s lightweight so other products added in don’t weigh the hair down 🖤
Would you recommend Creme of Nature Plex over this? You seem to get more product with that one. My hair needs some bond care 🥵
This one is lighter weight on the hair the crème of nature is much more intense 🖤

Can you actually try these products out consistently for a period of time so you can really give us an opinion on what it does to your hair. You keep going back and forth or just try something one or twice how are we supposed to know what is actually helping your hair when you give it a 1 time use and base your opinions on that?
