Hey Guys. Got tired of seeing some questionable test on the XTerra Pro, so I decided to test it against my own White's 6000 Di Pro. I tested it after doing a reset on the X-Terra pro. I ran it in all medal mode as that is now how I hunt! That's right, I now hunt in all metal mode and just go by the tones. At my son's apartment complex front yard under a huge tree I originally only dug about 10 coins when I first got the X-Terra Pro, (was running Park mode 1). I went over the same area about a month later and I dug another 29 coins in just over an hour with "no discrimination!". I did keep the iron tones, which is a must with no discrimination! I plan on doing some actual buried coin tests in the future. This test was with full sensitivity (25 & 18 test) all metal mode with a recovery speed of 1, 10 - 15 Hz. Also, highly recommend you run any detector with a slight threshold as in my case, it seems to give me a bit more depth : ) Winner X-Terra Pro X-Terra Pro Sensitivity @25 to 18 Dime 12" to 10" Penny= 14" to 10" Nickel = 15" to 12" Quarter= 15.5" to 11" 50 cent= 16" to 12" 14K ring= 15" to 13" Please give a thumbs up and subscribe! I still have several of those G.E.B. series detectors way back in my closet. I have a few test videos on my channel with those old detectors. I found handfuls and handfuls of silver coins with these Whites detectors decades ago.
I'll have to search for those. Right now I'm researching digging shovels. I like the one you use. Model 24 but it's $119 shipped, ouch! Wish I had a coupon code😅
@@ParkMetalDetectingI have a Radius Shovel Root Slayer and I have put Magnets on it and I also have a video of it on my Channel Bottle Caps and Magnets and I also have the X-Terra Pro and it's a Great Detector and I have been doing 12 Sensitivity until I got to know what it's trying to tell me about what the target is and I have since raised the Sensitivity up to 18 and it's a Coin Shooters Dream Detector that if it's done right and then it is a Top End Detector and I Love ❤❤❤❤❤❤ it....
And last night I was just wondering on if I could change the Tone's of the nickel and I have but I haven't tested it in the ground yet to see if it was a fluke or something else and also the Aluminum Foil Top's now sounds like Iron Grunts but I don't really remember what I have done and it was a little bit late and Or early morning 3 am and I couldn't sleep but the next time I will write it down but the X-Terra Pro is still New to Me and it's been 6 months and the ability to change it up is more than the Simplex + and it's presets Function and when I get a chance to try it again I will have to write it down......
The XTP only has low tone break that is adjustable. The other tones and tone breaks have no adjustments. And the tone break is only adjustable in blocks of 4. You can raise and lower the first tone break to reject foil seals or accept foil seals.@@carolrice2063
Yeah, in it's day Jesse it was one of the best. I could not swing it as fast as my current Xterra Pro and it was hard on the wrist as it had no forearm cuff, unless you got the hipmount conversion, but it got the job done. I like how its meter (VID) would lock onto a target. My best find on it was a 1942 Walking Libery 50 cent silver coin at 8". I have the one in the video up for sale on offerup right now as I want to get another detector
@dave3897 I've been looking at getting another detector... Legend is good for the money. Double Score looks ok but missing some functions. How long have you been using the Equinox 900?

I did but the power pole being 50" away was not helping so I just went with full out max sensitivity as a previously video I watched on the Xterra the guys was saying it was weak
I'd like to see a separation test between those 2, I wonder how the whites does amid iron nails around coins with shallow and deep targets. Thanks great video.
É um detector multifuncional. Mas você precisa lembrar que tem design analógico e tem 38 anos. Mas ainda é divertido brincar e pode encontrar 90% do que o Minelab consegue. English: It's a multi purpose detector. But you got to remember it's analog in design and 38 years old. But it's still fun to play with and can find 90% of what the Minelab can.it
Do you actually detect with feedback squeeling the whole time? Why would you run tests with them sqeeling the entire time, that's not any more accurate than the other guys tests, and it's unbearable. It's not an ancient 1-knob bounty hunter, tune that noise out!
Well... No! That was my very first video and I got pissed at a guy who said the XTerra would not detect deep so I maxed it out like he did in his vid. Problem where I live is there is a power pole with a transformer near by... Usually 20 sensitivity is max. I use to run a threshold too but stopped doing that many months ago. Maybe if I use a head set but not really needed... Check out the newer videos as they are much better : )

I just picked up and equinox 900 and it can barely hit a quarter at 10" I'm getting rid of it and picking up a legend.
