@@taxidriver1936 no, but the trains are light and the engines powerfull. Many Metros have either too heavy trains (many North American ones) or trains too small to fit larger engines on them (London). Berlin has avoided both problems the best they could.
Back in the day they didn't let trains with graffiti on them travel around but since there is a shortage of train sets at the moment they operate also with graffiti on trains because they don't want to cause too many cancelations
You mean U5 (min 5:37). Those trains are so called small profile trains (2.4m width / lines U1 - U4) which have been fitted to a large profile line (2.65m width / lines U5 - U9) due to a current lack of large profile trains.
I left Berlin when I was a child before the fall of the wall. Do trams still stop on road and cars stop to allow passengers to disembark off the tram ?
Trains
0:09 Type A3L
1:19 Type IK
2:03 Type GI
2:35 Type HK
6:10 Type F
6:46 Type H
2:03 are type GI/1(E) trains. The original type GI trains were withdrawn from the Berlin Metro in 1995 due to constant drive tap changer fires.

Super gefilmt, nice !
Some of these U-Bahn are modern and some date back to the 80s
Spidy Man not even that old compared to the London Underground but still cool
@@akmedia8206
Yea I remember when jumped on the old U Bahn made of wood in 1980s
there are cars from the 1960s and stations from the 1900s still in use.
I must say the old trains still look relatively modern today

Auf den U Bahn Linien fahren die verschiedensten Züge!
How can these trains accelerate so fast?
German engineering, they have strong engines ^^
Plus, normally the metro trains have various motor, Not only one. When you combine various Germán motor in a train you have a powerfull machine
@@juanmrodriguezd3395 Do other Metros / Subways only have one motor in the front, that I couldnt imagine!?!?

How come you didn't show how the doors with that cant appurtenance opened on the U5's ?
The new trains have security flaps that fill the gap on the platform

@@5mnz7fg but they can only opperate on U5 because the platform is longer (8 waggons) than on U6 to U9 (6 waggons)
@@klaro3001 They could operate on U6, U7, U8 and U9 too but only one train (four waggons) and not two.
