    I naturally hate dallas as a Philly fan but I find myself admiring Luka every time he plays. Bro is always calculated. He gives this spark in his teammates and it gets very intoxicating to watch their offense roll over any defense in the league. Dallas has that “X” factor in Luka and the fact they paired him with Kyrie just gives him more of a chance to make an impact.

  • @drdeedeecurtis
    @drdeedeecurtis 6 днів тому +18

    He’s the real next face of the NBA but they’re too racist to let it happen. Luka was the first person in NBA history to have a 34/9/10 season and the 1st to lead a playoff season in points, assists, rebounds, steals, and points made in 23-24. But ESPN created a fake stat called “blow by” to bash him and they never mentioned his season records.

    • @Rudypuu
      @Rudypuu 6 днів тому +3

      Wow, that's crazy. Didn't know those stats. Espn doesn't talk about it. I think Luka is the biggest threat to Jordan bc he is a gaurd and controls the entire game. Numbers don't lie and he does it while being doubled and tripled must in history. Jokic is great but he isn't Luka. Some would argue that is ok. They refused to give luka the mvp last year but this year with same narrative they used against him they use for giannis and jokic. So racist, to an extent. they hate luka so much they will let another white man have mvp over him. It's sickening but after it's all said and done, Luka is better than Jordan offensively duh, but def Luka is brilliant at times when he wants. He always been at the top of gaurds on def eff. Steals reb. The goal post always moves against Luka but for Giannis embid and sga, media praise them no matter what but hate on Luka. Yes that's bc most of the media is racist, they are also mostly black. But hey their are whites being racist too in other areas of life so we just have to deal with it knowing that everyone is bias at the least but shouldn't be.

      The NBA media is too mean and harsh against Luka. Cos they reluctant to admire this guy can beyond most of NBA legend and the media accounting that Luka is too ego in their pespective. And they do have double standard to Luka while comparing with other superstar in NBA.

    • @JOERANSTRAIGHT
      @JOERANSTRAIGHT 2 дні тому +1

      Yeah, I’ve watched ESPN just overlook him over and over and over and I’ve come to realize there’s some racist tendencies there which bothers me. It’s about the game. It’s not about what color your skin is. Great players come as they are. Who cares what your skin color is? It’s about the game and the talent in it.

He just got so much upside and his range is phenomenal and if they do move three-point line out farther that ain’t gonna have no effect on him. During pregame that guy is making half court shots with regularity. What I really impressed by is his ability to see the entire court and his passes are something not many people talk about. He’s also added catch and shoot to his bag. Luka not needing 40 a night is a good thing. It shows he has a squad, and while it’s not Boston it’s got the best player more shooters, and a deeper bench this time around.

    I’m about to be 43 and remember the 3 J’s rise and rapid fall which was followed by some god awful basketball.
    That’s why I love Dirk for everything he did and does to represent this franchise. When he retired I expected that I’d never see another player as great as he was playing in a Mavs uniform.
    Then this dude Luka showed up…
    The first time I saw him play live was against Chicago and he pulled off that pass fake down on the block… flat footed… and scored…
    I don’t recall most of the AAC crowd that night recognizing how crazy what just happened was, but I knew how special that move and that guy was.
    We’re so damn lucky to go from watching one of the best PF and shooters in the history of the game to watching someone this special do this kind of work.

    I don’t doubt any player would love the award all things equal. But I would bet everything that given the choice between being the league MVP or getting another chance at the Finals MVP, even if his stats are down because he’s playing on a better team, any sane player would choose the crack at the Finals. Winning championships is the ultimate historical validation. If Luka doesn’t win the regular season MVP, it’s not like his future free agency value is going to suffer. He wins a championship with the Mavericks, he becomes a forever immortal in Dallas.

    Even if Luka passes Jordan in rings they will still hate on him.

      @@mcmillanjustin903 six is an almost otherworldly accomplishment at this point. Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Duncan; they all stopped at five. That 90s era Bulls team (and it was more than just Jordan) was the most dominant force in NBA history.

    Let’s be real here, we Mavs fans EARNED Luka. Look it up, we’ve had many many lottery drafts yet NEVER have we moved up even one spot. With Luka we were the 5th pick yet we were the third worst team. Had to trade the next years 1st as well. Meanwhile the spurs have had 6 lottery selections, all moved up. ALL and three were generation 1st overall picks. This combined with our 18 lottery selections and never moving up is a statistical anomaly at worst.

    Luka being in the Mavericks isn't really anything to do with God, it has to do with ignorant American teams. If they had kept track of the Euro League, they would have known about the guy and what he could bring. 😂😂

      Luka is the first ever to do this.
      Jordan never had a 45 point triple double. Why do you guys think the NBA and Statmuse are lying about this? Why do they down play Luka even though Jordan hasn’t played for around thirty years?
