Yes! We normally use a combination of manure, leaves, cardboard (food) boxes, junk mail, ashes from the woodstove, dirt from dead potted houseplants, shredded bark, and the remaining of last years compost to build our new compost from year to year. Use and reuse!👍
You got it!! Use and reuse anything that will compost. It is better to go in the compost pile than in a landfill. Plus it is amazing what compost will do for plants.
