  • One of the things about natural remedies I love is that often they work better than the pharmaceutical medications with significantly less side effects. This is no exception. This is backed by the scientific literature and it saved me from having to use any meds. Have you ever tried it?

I've been looking for the information you provided is just what I was looking for. Great YT channel. I'm starting to use this remedy tomorrow. Thank you.

    My 21st birthday, I'll never forget it, I almost died of a bleeding gastric ulcer, and I have had several others since then, but thankfully I haven't had one in years. The doctors and I don't know what caused it, I don't smoke or do recreational drugs or any of that. My guess is maybe I was taking nsaids for headaches, so I don't do that anymore, and I also avoid lemonade (I miss it) and spicy food (I never liked that, anyway). I keep Tums and Omeprazole on hand. I'll have to learn more about cabbage juice.

      I've known for years that cabbage and its relatives are great to inhibit cancer growth. I wonder if eating fresh leaves 3 or 4 times a week would be about as good as juicing. I understand juicing can get the nutrients into the bloodstream faster, but think the entire package is better for the body in the long run.

    My husband had terrible heartburn and we tried natural options. What seems to work best for him is to several times a week have organic red cabbage sliced thinly into homemade coleslaw (dressing made with healthy plant-based mayo and a touch of maple syrup - salt added on each serving, or it draws moisture out of the cabbage into a mess in the serving bowl). He can tell when it has been too long since I made it for him, because the discomfort returns. Since he stopped eating potato chips he has had much less of an issue with the problem at all.

      There are a couple of options. One is to blend it with a really good blender and then put it into something I think is called a cheese cloth and squish it so the juice comes out. The other option is to simply buy a juicer. Put the cabbage or the kale in and it will juice it for you. Blessings.

      Thanks.
      I've been using a centrifugal juicer, and also compressing the waste in a cotton bag to extract more.
      I believe many commercial juicing companies use a slow juicer and further compress the pulp between two plates to extract more.
      I think my pick would be a twin gear juice extractor such as the Angel 5500 cold press juicer.
      Thanks again for the heads up on cabbage juice, something I have not thought of in recent years.
      BTW, I appreciate your ethical and spiritually enlightened content.

    • @alrinaleroux9229
      @alrinaleroux9229 Рік тому

      Kimchi is fermented cabbage. I heard that eating kimchi regularly can cause several diseases, including gastric cancer (stomach cancer), because of the high sodium content.
      But I saw on the Internet, "Kimchi also appears to have therapeutic effects on peptic ulcer disease and stomach inflammation caused by H. pylori bacteria, largely by preventing harmful germs from attaching to digestive cells."
      So perhaps one could consider it for healing a gastric ulcer, but not for regular consumption after the ulcer has been healed.
