We were certain we wanted an Ember at the Hershey RV show. But since then we have seen several YT videos about the poor quality I Keep thinking we dodged a bullet by not buying an ember. I wanted to purchase an Ember, but I'm not so sure now. I know it's a new company, and they're still learning, but you would think they would pay attention better to not get such a bad reputation. Your Ember must have been built on Monday when they were still hungover from the weekend, or it was built on a Friday when they were in a hurry to get to the bar. I want you to inspect my RV when I buy it.

Ember reminds me of the time years ago that I took a factory tour of a power catamaran builder that I was going to buy one of their boats. While the engineering and marketing for the company were great the workers in the factory building the boats looked like a bunch of drunks and drug addicts. I ended up buying a semi-custom catamaran from a family owned builder thereby dodging a bullet. Ember appears to have the same issue where your final product is as only as good as your worst employee. While the owners and engineers Pat themselves on the back because of their superior product they never bother to step foot on the factory floor to check on their drunks and drug addicts building the trailers. Thanks for the video.

My wheel chocks come loose all the time. I bought quality wheel chocks at our local farm store. For my solar, i had to re-enter battery values i got from battle born. My trailer came set on Gel batteries. It took me 2 months to discover the error. I for the longest just thought solar was over hyped. I didn’t realize the solar problem was they aren’t set at the factory nor at the dealer.

I like to DIY which is why I started the channel. Don’t be jealous. Keep the engagement coming tho
It is a new product. But they had touted their industry vets and decades of experience.
There’s nothing new or novel about this camper compared to others.
They’re just over priced. And ember cheaps out on labor costs and passes on the warranty service to dealers which are notoriously under staffed and under educated.

    What is really bad,
is that Ember’s Production Manager is
hyped to have many years of production
    experience.
    -Apparently brought NOTHING but
    bad quality control and
    the same old garbage
    industry standard trash
    into Ember.
*OLD habits do not rehabilitate themselves
into energetic, fresh, new commitments to
    quality. You either have
a work ethic or you don’t.
    •Pay-check players
don’t make the All-Star Team, and don’t care to.
    They show no heart for
    anything but their own payday.
Too Bad. Ember’s concepts for products
    are attractive but:
    1)-Their MSRP is $10k
    too high.
    2)-Quality of assembly is terrible.
    3)-Needs Convection Microwave unit
    4)-Implement customer
    suggestions and don’t
    ignore the soiling of your
    brand for fixable issues.
    Notes:
    With the slow-down of
    the entire industry now,
    Ember should PERFECT
    their employee assembly performance.
    Initiate 100% guarantee
    fit/finish and 100%
    factory guarantee that
every unit is fully system functional and turn-key
    ready to camp when
    leaving Ember’s factory.
    Dealers should not have
to fix sloppy assembly craftsmanship, nor the
    customers rectify bad
    assembly issues at all!
    Customers should be
    able to camp in these
    units for 10,000 miles
    without ANY issues
    popping up, and what
    pops up after 10k
    should not be anything
    more than a loose screw.

When a new car model enters the market, it's best to wait a year or two , till all the kinks are worked out. There seems to be an abundance of issues for this fairly new manufacture after watching several owner reviews of their Ember.. How's the saying go, first impression is a lasting impression. I have a 2015 outdoors rv. I love it. Very well built and true four season. I spent winter in it with many nights below zero and single digits with no issues. Recommend finding used model 2014-2019. Think these are better built than later years. However the 2023 models seem really nice. These are heavy. Most need a 1 ton truck to pull but can do with 3/4 for smaller models. I am always looking at trailers and have considered changing just for newer functions then I go sit in my trailer and appreciate the quality.

I have a 2016 ORV and for the most part it is a good unit. Rusty frames. poor assembly on the wiring and similar lack of caring affect all the MFG. I went through mine with a fine tooth comb finding bad stripping, very bad battery cable crimps, and several broken rv assembly screws. After a few days of doing my own QC, all was sorted and it has been pretty much trouble free. Northwood has a good reputation and they build a true 4 season rigs that work well.
