That tan looks really natural- i thought you took a beach vacation and got some actual sun time!
You’re the only influencer who raves about zinc oxide sunscreen. And I love you for that. (I work in dermatology) I recommend Vanicream daily moisturizer with spf. It has zinc oxide and is made for sensitive skin. Does not leave a white cast. I love her!

Was on Ski Patrol for years here🇨🇦and I was doing a run with some Rookies, teaching Avalanche “Control” (how’s THAT for the Oxymoron of the day?) and one of the girls saw my nose was NEON PINK AND GREEN (hey, it was the 80’s LOL) and she had never heard of Zinc 🙄so I explained and she said (Take a seat Tonya b/c u are going to fall out of your Tennies….) “WHY would anyone be so stupid as to wear SUNSCREEN in the WINTER?”. YEP! True story.
And THAT is why I fully believe, as a society, we MUST remove ALL “warning labels” from everything such as a Clothes Iron for example as mine has a label that says “DO NOT USE WHILE BATHING”. Ummmmm…..😳ok?
So, my thoughts are that by removing ALL warning labels from electronic appliances ESPECIALLY, we could literally CULL THE HERD in a matter of WEEKS……Truly be doing the world a huge solid by completing THAT one. Just my humble opinion.

Keep doing what you’re doing as the world NEEDS you!! Dermatology is a fascinating specialty and I do wish at times I had gone into that or PS vs ER/Trauma but who doesn’t love a good body part in a zip-lock once a week? Yes, yes…..most NP’s are quite dark and twisted as you can tell. 🤪 It keeps us as sane as humanly possible TBH. At least in Derm you get GREAT samples. Our “perks” are pretty much the odd Scooby-Doo bandaid 🩹 pack or a few Steri-strips on occasion but it’s blue moon before I come across a recon bottle of Botox LOL!!!

The Beauty of Joseon is a hybrid sunscreen! So yes it does contain zinc but it also contains chemical filters. The chemical filters found in asian spfs are typically more advanced/ less irritating than us chemical filters.:)

I have the Dr. Scholls's sneakers and bought them specifically for traveling. They are honestly more comfy than other (running)shoes I have tried and I can all day in these no matter how many hours I am walking. Love them!

Agreed! I got a pair with the new hands-free slip-on feature AND the max cushion. They are the best shoes I've ever had and are so comfortable for walking long distances.
Try Hokas. They are the best and most recommended by Podiatrists.
Yes the hair powder works. You have to pound it gently and it’s really helpful for not true bald spots but the spots that have receded even if you braid your hair, just gently pounce it. I love this stuff. I’ve been using it and another brand for about six years, but you definitely have to pounce it, especially if you’re going that close to your face, barely touching but more soin the actual thicker part of your hair and yes, it looks good on you.
That foundation is beautiful on you! It is so hard to pick the right color, especially online.
I got it - it is really nice but my shade was a little light for me. I’d go up one shade from your norm if you’re going to try it
I am 58 and got the TirTir. You need a very small amount. I also don't want super full coverage and I really enjoy it! My skin is on the drier side. You need a light hand.

Im 51. The TirTir using the sponge was very blotchy. I could not get it even. And showed every tine line in my forehead and around my eyes. It did better with a brush mixed with a moisturizing bronzing drop. I used the Loreal.

I’m almost 64 and the TirTir is simply amazing! It doesn’t settle in my fine lines or make my skin look dry. I had it on the other day in the store and I’m not kidding but a total stranger stopped me (a woman,not a man) just to tell me that I’m beautiful! It not only made my days, or maybe even my week, but I decided it was the foundation that made all the difference.
Yes! I love those shoes so much! I walked around Disney World for 5 days straight and they actually are a wonderful walking shoe! They didn't even require a break in and I got zero blisters. I usually need some extra support too but my feet didn't hurt at all.
Skechers arch fit are my go to trainers/sneakers. Usually get discounted ones as they are pricey, but so comfortable. As soon as i put the shoes on my feet felt at home.
As a Gen Xer, as soon as you said Dr. Scholls, I flashed to our generation's version; the sandals with the wooden soles. I clip clopped around in those in my tween years and had the most toned calves!

I have those same shoes, I love them, they are so comfortable! It's so hard for me to find shoes that fit good that don't bother me arches or my heels and these shoes are definitely my go to. And I've worn them to Sea World and walked for hours and they were great!
The best sunscreen I have ever used is the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen. I'm so glad you recommended it as I've been using it for three years now!! It's worth every penny! I use the Clairol Root Touch Up Powder to my gray roots, and it also works to fill in the spots where my hair is thinning. It comes with a small brush that works well for me. I'm not sure I would have enough control using the sponge from Boldify.
PS I'm SO excited that you are taking riding lessons!! I did the same for my "mom time" too. Be careful because I ended up buying a horse and actually going to some horse shows!!🏇🐎
I’m soo excited for you about horseback riding! I have always been a horse girl and horses helped me heel after my husband passed and I own four! Proud of you! They really understand your feelings! Horse therapy has become very popular! I’m planning on creating a program for children and adults that need therapy, plus it’s just something about being able to control a 1k lb horse! If I am not mistaken the sunscreen from Beauty of Joseon, the one you tried Rachel, is in fact a chemical sunscreen and not a mineral/physical sunscreen. I've used it for years, and loved it, but had to switch it out cuz I now am pregnant😢
Why would you have to change sunscreens?
I heard that chemical sunscreens are best to avoid when pregnant. Soo, since I now am pregnant I chose to only wear physical sunscreens in the meantime. I am planning to switch back as soon as I can, as I like the chemical sunscreens way better :)

@UmAkhmieva that's a myth and has been debunked many times. Look up Lab Muffin here sometime. She talks about sunscreen myths. The science of it all, she's very educational! You don't have to give up your BOJ ❤️

So the key to choosing the right shade in the TirTir cushion foundation is to choose one shade lighter than you think you will need because it does slightly oxidize. I'm currently wearing it and it is absolutely beautiful. I love it. Also for the root powder, it does work. You only need a tiny bit. And it's best to seal it in with a little bit of hairspray when you're done, but I also use it in the areas in my hair where it's a little thinner in the front. And in between getting my roots done and I have never had an issue
My experience with Tir Tir was opposite. It was lighter than what I’d normally buy and need a shade darker. Makes me a bit nervous for a repurchase
Those Dr. Scholls are the only shoes I can wear pregnant or traveling and the only shoes I have ever repurchased in my life! The insole is a wonderful and makes it into a wonderful walking shoe and they need a minute after you first buy them for it to mold to your foot. Game changers!!
I have those sneakers! I bought them for our vacation and I am in love. Super versatile! I dressed them up and down, dresses and shorts.

Rachel, you have to try Kizik shoes. They are a slip on shoe so you can just step in and out of them so easily without undoing laces or breaking/flattening the back of the shoe & they look like real shoes. They have lots of different styles. I bought the Prague ones and absolutely love them. I love being able to slip them on & off in under a second. I love that they look like a normal shoes (not a typical slip on shoe). And I wore them to Disney where we were walking around parks every day for a week & and they were so comfortable! I swear everyone will love them!

I have dark hair with gray roots and that boldify is wonderful! It is that good and I have not said that about one other hair touchup product.

Rachel, I think the b.tan is so natural on you. Everyone has their preferences, but I think the Loving Tan is a bit harsh once it sets. This looks more forgiving. Does that make sense? Also, I have a trial size of some of their other products, and they do have a couple of undertone-specific foam tan options you might like. The hair pwodery was quite a surprise! It looked great. The application method is probably key there. 👍

You have to Vlog your horseback riding lessons. I’ve been A horse girl, a couple of decades now and watching other peoples lessons are some of the best videos. Especially amateur riders. If you could record your lesson with a microphone so we could hear the instructor, that would be a great video. Even if you put your horse stuff on a different channel so many people and the equine industry love watching other peoples lessons because we learn from the instructor and if we’re people who teach then we learn from the instructor and watching what happens with the horse and rider during the lesson. It’s a great way to educate the riders as well. Please share your lessons with audio Thanks 🙏

I have used the Tsubaki Moist shampoo and conditioner (red bottles) for years and I love it! It really helps with my poor dry hair that has been constantly abused by bleach.
I get a root touchup powder from our UK budget pharmacy, Superdrug. It has been around for a long time. It is called Revolution Root Touch-up and yes, it does work
I wore those sneakers first month or two of nursing school back in the day. I had to wear white leather shoes. They are very comfy given that I was in them for clinical (12 hours) at a time but, I stopped wearing them because they turned yellow real fast and looked really bad.

I LOVE the b. tan products, specifically their mousse tanners. They usually say ready in 1 hour and then you shower but I typically leave it on for 3-4 hours or even double layer it for a darker tan. The tan tends to show up much darker the next day or like 5-6 hours after you wash it off I would say. I haven't used the gel but normally the mousses blend well and stay perfect for around a week before it'll rub away a little on areas like where my bra tends to rub. (they also have a couple of different undertones in the mousse formulas)
i just got the platform version of the dr. scholls that are black and white w black laces and painted the brown leather parts black and looks cuter. they are so freaking comfortable.
The Beauty of Josean sunscreen is not a mineral/physical sunscreen. It’s partly a hybrid , which contains both physical and chemical filters, even though the filters are more chemical than mineral.

The beauty of Joseon is actually a chemical sunscreen!! Where did you hear that it wasn’t? They have different filter than ours but they’re all chemical in this sunscreen, except Tinosorb M which is a filter that has both!
Even Tati raves about this TirTir cushion foundation so I’m not surprised you love it as well.
I try TirTir cushion foundation, it does settle in my mature skin, It does stay on when I sweat that's a plus.
So I have a lot of issues with my feet and it causes pain if i'm in shoes that aren't supportive, even if I have my custom insoles in. I've found that ONs are amazing as a sneaker. They're my go to and I've been using them for years. They're sleaker than most running sneakers, but still provide support and cushin. I recommend the cloudflyers. They tend to be a little pricey, so I stick to one pair a year or until I wear them out. Also Oofos has some really comfortable slip-ons and slide/flipflop things.
The boldify hair product reminds me of the madlove stamp for brows! I actually use it for my hairline when I have a slicked back hairstyle to fill in the thinning parts of my hairline. If you do it sparsely, it does look nice! I think I see a difference. Not a shocking difference, but an improvement if you will....I'm curious if the lighter color will actually look natural over my darker roots in-between highlighting.

For the hair colour thing. I would also be worried about it being sweat fast as well. I live in the subtropics and in the summer is 'break a sweat by breathing' hot/humid so sweat fast is important

I got the Dr. Scholls in my Stitch Fix. They are deceivingly comfortable. The only thing is that it's tough to keep the toe clean. It's a hard plastic and as soon as you scuff them, the spot stays. They are amazing though. 😊
I didn’t even know the dr scholls’s were trending, but I got them bc they were the only pair of sneakers I could find that would go well with my outfits for law school bc I wear a lot of dresses and stuff but I walk a mile to and from class so I can’t really wear dress shoes. I love mine and they work for me for my walks to class but I also wouldn’t recommend for traveling. I love my new balances though!
Canadian brand, Lise Watier makes a beautiful zinc oxide sunscreen! Feels like a primer on the skin, not greasy at all!
Great reviews! I loved the way the tanner worked on you. I'll have to try it. As for the root touch-up, I don't find powders hold up any better than eyebrow powders. I guess if you're looking for super precise placement, then the powders make sense. However, for root touch-ups, you can't beat Style Edit. Once on, it doesn't budge. If you accidentally sprayed in the wrong place, Sea Breeze on a cotton ball takes it right off. Water, however, doesn't budge it. Great stuff.
I’m already on my 4th Beuty of Joseon sunscreen, love it. I didn’t like the stick version of it though. And the Tirtir cushion foundation was already in my wish list 😊
I adore my sambas. You can get them in a bunch of different styles (vegan, classic, etc). No blisters.
Those shoes are awesome for travelling. Went on a cruise and walked around a lot at the stops and bought those specifically for that reason. Never had any foot or leg pain like I normally would get with other shoes. They do get dirty super quick, like abnormally quick. I bought a spray for them so they could be easily wiped down.
I though the dirty thing was just me! I freaking love them, but yeah, they do get marked so quickly. So, I have two pairs - one that I keep clean and the other for everything else!

I’m gonna weigh in on the Boldify. I love it to cover my grey hair on my part & sides. I use light blonde. Looks awesome in natural light but very light in pictures. Way better than any other I’ve tried 😊
Definitely makes a difference on the hair powder! I’m super blonde so dry shampoo works for my regrowth.
I have postpartum hair loss and I’ve been using boldify for a few months. I think it works great! After taking a shower, I notice it’s still in my hair a bit unless I wash it.

I walked in the shoes around Europe and they are the best things ever! We did about 15-20 thousand steps a day and I never got a blister once they are super comfy and easy to clean!
BOJ sunscreen is dope, but not a mineral SPF. (Also, buying it from Amazon is almost always from a third party seller… so please beware. IHerb sells it for cheap and it’s always legit. Faster shipping to US/CA than ordering from Korea.)
I was going to post a similar comment. There are SO MANY Beauty of Joseon fakes on Amazon, and even Walmart website, the double pack they sell are actually fake. The packaging is different, and the reviews say it has a strong fruity scent, which real BOJ sunscreens do not have much of a scent. I hope her link isn’t to the fake ones 😬 Because I’ve actually had a hard time finding that sunscreen in stock. The only ones I can find are the fake ones. Iherb is the only website I can find selling it
As someone with a wider foot I’m a Birkenstocks all the time person so I will wear them no matter the day unless there’s a blizzard no matter how much I’m walking lol I’ve hiked in them and gone out to nice dinners in other styles they’re the go to for all travel in warm weather at least
I can attest to those Dr. Scholl’s. I have the exact pair, and I wore them for 10 days straight all across the coast of California. And then Aruba for another 10. No blisters, no rubbing, just the freaking MOST comfortable shoes ever. I actually just ordered my second pair. For reference, I have small, very wide feet, and they are my most favorite.

That tanning gel actually looks good on you; at least according to my iPhone 8 and it’s screen protector! I didn’t notice any green cast just a nice golden tan.
First time ever commenting on your channel but a huge follower! If you are able to get your hands on them, I would really suggest/recommend the ON Cloud Women Monster or the ON Cloud Echo women’s shoes they are phenomenal in my opinion. They personify the slogan of walking/running on cloud tech.
