Thank you for sharing your story! I was baptized October 29, 2016 That feeling you describe of feeling the weight of your sins gone after you were baptized is exactly how I felt. The spirit is so strong in the church. I agree the first time I went to church I felt so loved and everyone was so welcoming. You can feel the love of the savior through the members. That’s why I try to be supportive and friendly when I see a new face. It makes all the difference. I also shared my conversion story and baptism story on my UA-cam page if you want to hear about it. Even as severely struggling lds convert myself, I am happy for other converts. Converts that actually do way better even when I've been convert for longer years. The world's precious, obvious drugs like especially alcohol and tobacco products is a huge reason why I am lds convert. Even when very sinful, I prefer to be amongst sober people at church rather than people that always want to drink. It's annoying, but I can still hang out with friends or family who freaking just want to drink or smoke all the time. Just not like before. Anyways, God bless our brave converts.
I did almost all of my missionary discussions at a member's house too, the other one or two I did at the meetinghouse. I think I mention it in my conversion video on my channel :)
