Let's review the PMP Application process from beginning to end, from writing the PMP Application Project Descriptions to submitting the PMP Application to PMI. Here are the steps of the PMP Application Process that you should follow, before you can sign up to take your PMP Certification.
1. Conduct a project inventory check (Do you meet the 3 years of required experience managing projects?)
2. Draft project experiences into a .docx file, and notify your Managers that you're applying to take the PMP Exam
3. Begin the PMP Application on PMI's website
4. Submit the PMP Application and wait approximately 1 week to be notified if you are approved
