    Hi Alvin! I have an objection in what regards Q4. I had marked "mitigate" as the correct answer, since even if new people are assigned there is still a risk of schedule delay. Could you please let me know what you think?

      I absolutely share the same view with you. Avoiding the risk would probably be to decline the lead engineer's leave request. Alvin, what are your thoughts?

    Thank you! Got all but the last one right. However your explanation for why it wouldn’t be close vendor contracts makes total sense and I won’t make that mistake again!

    4/5 - Question 3 was tricky. How can you tell if a question is about predictive/waterfall or agile?

    • @alvinthepmofficial
      @alvinthepmofficial  2 роки тому +3

      @LaWanda Stacy, I'm really glad that you're finding my videos and content helpful! When you're reading the question, be on the lookout for any key phrases which would be involved with agile, such as iteration, daily standup, retrospective, backlog, etc, as these would signify if you're dealing with an agile question. On the other hand, if the question focuses on the use of change requests or project management plans, you're likely dealing with a predictive project. I hope this helps clarify things, good luck with your PMP Exam Prep studying!

    My only question is to #4 - I said transfer, but you stated that transfer risk would be to look outside of the organization (using a third party vendor). I did not realize that this is what transfer really means, and thought that if a stakeholder or a project team member has to leave unexpectedly and the team distributes the work to be done in "assigning other resources to take over and lead the engineering activities" (in my mind is transferring this work to others on the team) that this would not mean "transfer". Can you comment Alvin?

    Why would you delay handing over to operations? Archiving documents and lessons learnt is always done after. After a project is finished advantage of time must be taken by operations to generate income as soon as possible

    As per Q#5, Scope validation has just been completed, which means we are in Monitoring & Controlling Process. So should we not close out Vendor contracts first ? We do, identify the lessons learned but archiving is one of the last things we do in closure

    Mr Alvin, for Q4 , Why not "Transfer" ?, two lead engineers are replaced by other resouces ?

    Why question 4 is not accept (active ) using contingency reserve by adding new resource ?

    Hi. What is the difference between resource constraint & resource requirement. ?
    If a project requires chemical engineers & they are not available in the project team then is it a resource requirement or a resource constraint ?
    Your thoughts Please

      @@alvinthepmofficial I highly appreciate your help, Alvin. I do receive emails from you BootCamp and regularly watch sent videos as well. I need some serious help with learning/memorizing Knowledge Areas, Processes, and ITTO. Do you have a series of videos that covers all of this? I'm happy to pay for that as well and do thank your quality work. Big love and support Alan.
