So I got this exact same exhaust for my 450ss and I didn’t put the silencer. It’s a lot louder but not obnoxious loud. Pretty much straight piping it lol
@@imTjmotovlog I own the 2023 ....pretty loud as is sitting in traffic. Ride those revs your bike is capable of 68 miles per hour in 3rd gear over 80 in 4th 48 in 2nd, and 32 in first. Just gets better when ride those revs. I shift at around 7200 rpms. Get to know what the capabilities of your bikes performance are. Really a great bike in all weather with the current tires.
I just got my exhaust in the mail. It comes with all those pieces but mine came with another small cylinder tube but idk where it goes! Anybody know what I'm talking about?
@@imTjmotovlog Hello. Instead of getting shorter springs just bend the spring loops up to a 90-degree angle to the surface they are welded to. This solves two problems. One. Use of the springs that you already paid for. Two. Rattles/noise. When you bend the loops up it gets the springs away from the pipe instead of laying on it and creating a harmonic noise from vibration. Also, when pulling on the spring from loop to loop do not pull past the loop. Only just enough to clear loop. This weakens the spring because you distort/ stretch the windings. This weakens the pulling power. You can see how the top spring winding past its center has gaps not uniform to the rest of the windings. If on any application when using springs and they start to bend the coils during installation you are using to short of a spring for the distance to be captured.
Another tip on these types of mufflers that do not have a hard mount welded to the muffler. Make sure you run the bolt through the beginning and end of the clamp with nothing in between. Otherwise you are adding length to the clamp creating a spacer and the designed clamping force is reduced. This oversite is what usually causes the rubber channel gasket to start working itself out between the clamp and muffler.

absolutely my dream bike 🤍🖤
Thats is insane it almost sounded like R7 holyy
It’s temporary but I definitely love it

The 2024 sounds much quieter than 2023 which I have.
The video definitely doesn’t do it justice but I would love to find someone with a 2023 and do a side by side comparison that would be awesome

Hey, loved the install! But what lift stand are you working with? Ive tried a couple and none of them seem to work on this bike

Hi, I’m curious if you just took off the decals or bought a new fairing kit. Thanks 🙏🏾
This was how the bike came from the dealer
Sounds great 👍. I'm waiting for you too open it up ????
I will be making a full sound only video soon for this set up!

Where can I get one for my 2024 ninja 500
@MotoChrispy u have this?
Pretty sure this is the one he mentions in his recent 1 month bike review video.
Paint the adapter black. It looks so much better after I did.
I actually thought about doing this, I still might
Just bought one too!! How many db would u say it is if you know?
I'm not sure on the exact DB
@@imTjmotovlog okay 👌
What size? I ordered one but it doesn't fit so ill have to return and get a different one.
I didn't see an exact size, I just filtered the search out by this motorcycle model and that's the one I purchased
I just got the exact same exhaust and I'm just waiting for mine to arrive.
Can you tell me what the length of that spring you used? Thanks!
I think the kit comes with 65mm springs but the ones I used were 58mm!

Question about the silencer, once its pushed against the adapter, will it be flush within the muffler? My silencer seems to droop down a bit
It doesn’t sit straight unfortunately but it doesn’t seem to affect the sound at all from what I’ve experienced
