YES!!! I have had the privilege of hearing him live twice now and let me tell you...mind blowing doesn't cover it!!! 30 Seconds to Mars for life!!!! They deserve so much more respect than they get!!!
He definitely has a gorgeous voice. Very unique and powerful. Been a Jared Leto fan since 1994 and. 30STM fan since the first album. I have seen them live about a dozen times over the years. Met them like 10 times.
Yes kinda they always hang out after they play and talk to fans, sign autographs and take pictures... very informal meet and greets. A few times there was only like 15 fans still hanging around in the correct place and got to talk for like a half hour. Awesome guys. Super nice.
Yes it was and I was lucky to have it happen more then once. I have been able to meet a lot of my favorite bands just by being a regular at the local venues, being chill and polite and following rules gets you in good with security and they let know where to wait.
I just watched a 30 Seconds to Mars reaction video earlier this week where the reactor was like, "Dude really looks like Jared Leto." The comments were hilarious.
Really great video, honest & educated analysis… looking forward to watching more on the channel! We got to play a show with them in NYC & they are both insanely good & really cool people, so we love 30stm!
I think Jared has a great voice, and great stage presence. However, I'm not much of 30stm fan. I like some of their songs, but it's not really my style. I do love their videos, though. On the other hand, he's one my favourite actors.
Soooo...after watching your whole discussion, here are my thoughts...because I admit I've puzzled over this through the years... I'm a 40 year old woman who is loves music - almost all genres, from classical to showtunes to rock to pop to jazz to hiphop to folk to bluegrass. (Before the pandemic, I was going to at least 30-50 concerts a year.) Also, when I was a tween, I was obsessed with My So-Called Life and had a bit of crush on Jared Leto. So I find it really, really...odd(?) that I never transitioned into a big 30 Seconds to Mars fan. Why? Honestly...I think I simply forget about them most of the time. I do think Jared is a good singer. And occasionally their songs catch my attention. But not enough to stream their whole album. (I guess, back in the day, it would have been buy their CD or DL their whole album to my iPod.) I even saw them live once at a small, random show in DC. I think the seating capacity is 600-800 people so you had to win tickets on the radio (or know someone) to get in. The show was special. The band sounded great, there was a meet and greet afterwards, and Buzz Aldrin showed up. So I have a bunch of funny pictures of the band posing with Buzz. It was a really memorable night! And still...I don't think I've listened to 30 Seconds to Mars since them??? So I think I'm with Micah. It's not that people don't respect Jared as a singer or 30 Sec to Mars as a band. I just don't think they write the kind of songs that bring them to that next level.
@@DAMmusicshow Yes! We, as fans, had no idea he was going to be there! I'm not sure if it was planned with the band? Or if he just showed up? But it was really cool.
I always point people to this cover anytime they doubt his ability as an artist. The man has some amazing pipes.
thank you, right ?

@@gizmokat8321 You should do a video on that. A "how to" video.
I like acoustic versions 30STM Hurricane it's really beautiful, and also Linkin Park - Rolling in the deep(cover).

That's funny. Maybe Micah was / is right.

Thank you so much. Appreciate this feedback.
Yes he can !!!!! 😜
Thank you Noelle. The nerve of some people saying he can't. I mean, right? :)
