Jared is not only talented, but also extremely multidimensional. He and his brother have created music that is incomparable! I have had many "spiritual" events in my life yet nothing can compare to the times I've seen 30STM in concert. Their performance is literally transcendental. I always leave their shows feeling 20 yrs younger than I am to the point that my health improves, my energy levels soar and my general disposition improves. If you've never seen them live, please treat yourself to this life changing experience...you'll never forget it!!! So much love and appreciation for both Jared and Shannon!
Everybody saying Tomo but the real OGs know that Solon Bixler's harmonies on the first album trump anything that was on the second record. I've been a fan of 30stm for longer than 99% of people I meet. Saw them live in 2002.

I remember the Def Tones demo he is talking about. My band shared a room with another band and they had it in our rehearsal room in the boom box. I heard it and was blown away...it really was impressive and such a musical evolution of what was starting to hit. I saw Def Tones on that tour in San Diego at a clue called Bodies. Very small room and they were great. Met Chino after the show and he was very nice!

I don't imagine working with the Leto brothers was ever easy! He also always had other interests in life so he was ready to move one. Matt ditched them pretty quickly but nobody missed him.

It's strange to me that "Attack" and anything from A Beautiful Lie are the old, unknown songs when those are the songs that made them big. All I want to hear is the self-titled album. Those are the oldies that'd get me to the show.
What?! I love Attack! But oooooh The Kill… The Kill is the first song I ever heard from them and it’s still one of my top favorites of theirs. Forever in my heart!
Art in general is subjective, but to the artist, it is objective. There is a purpose, usually through emotions and deep beliefs. Society has the tendency to put things into a box. As an artist and a fan of TSTM, I feel a connection to the authenticity of being original, true to yourself. I applaud them for staying out of the box.

Yes there were others also and Tomo was with them the longest but the band did start with the 2 Brothers. They wrote the songs & music. I'm sure they miss Tomo, but Tomo had personal matters to deal with, family came first for him which is honorable.
That’s Jared in a nutshell. He never even publicly commented why Tomo left (and has shut down fans who tried to ask), even though it’s obviously wasn’t on good terms given that he left in the middle of the tour.
@twokay477 the fact is yes Jared is a Narcissist. He also wrote all of the lyrics and music on the bands first 4 albums. He didn't on the fifth and we all know how that went. Even Tomo admitted that Jared was behind all the creativity and he was lucky they chose him. He admits he was the greatest guitarist and was giving it all up and moving home until he received the call from the Leto Brothers. Tomo became very aggressive and angry , as it was tld to me by someone who was there ,he punched a person and was asked to leave the tour and get some anger management. It was his decision not to go back.

It's so incredibly disappointing to see Tomo under-appreciated when he gave so much to this band over the years. He was in 30STM for fifteen years, and yet Jared doesn't even have the decency to call him "a band member". Instead he's just "a contributor". It's disgusting. If this is how Tomo was treated then he deserves to be as far away from Leto as possible. It's a shame to see that common decency has been replaced with a vicious ego.

And then I heard about the crew thing back in 2018 as well and forgot about it, but then it's resurfaced recently in comment sections on Twitter/X. One person posted screenshots of a conversation either they or someone else had with I think a crew member who explained what happened, and another person mentioned the same thing in the same comment section before the screenshot was posted. Also another person replied to a comment on this video about the same thing as well, but also mentioned how he refused to play certain songs.

Maybe we should hear this Tomo guys side of things first.. maybe he doesn't care about the credit or didn't want it..maybe there was a fall out, I certainly don't know..in fact I'm going to go find out right now if he has publicly expressed his feelings towards these two bros..maybe he really didn't do any songwriting and just performed..
Tomo became aggressive towards them and everyone involved and punched a crew member in the face. That's why he left abruptly and that's why Jared doesn't want to talk about him.

@@aligreene494 I heard about him not showing up on tour back in 2018 so I can't remember where from, but I'm pretty sure people posted about it asking where he was. And then I heard about the crew thing back in 2018 as well and forgot about it, but then it's resurfaced recently in comment sections on Twitter/X. One person posted screenshots of a conversation either they or someone else had with I think a crew member who explained what happened, and another person mentioned the same thing in the same comment section before the screenshot was posted. Also another person replied to a comment on this video about the same thing as well, but also mentioned how he refused to play certain songs.
they were outsiders, but now they have become part of the group that has succumbed to the Hollywood machine, they only put out music that is sounds like a disney end credits music over, I really wish that they would get back to what made them famous
