I'm a gas V8 guy myself but, I do like the V8 diesels that are single side exit straight piped. You can hear the V8 and diesel at the same time instead of the overcompensating muffled factory diesel idle.
Were those the stock 16x7s? I like that setup I know a lot of people commented that haha but it’s simply and clean I just got a 04 f250 not diesel but was curious what the biggest tire I could run on them 16x7s
Just a quick question, how did you mount that shackle to the hitch? I literally have been wanting to do this for over 2 years and I finally got my hands on one.
I took two regular hitches and cut the blended plate off of one. Trimmed it a bit and flipped it over, welded it the first hitch to make a hole the size of the pin. Slid the pin through and tacked the threads on the pin to make it harder to steal.
+Lane Santangelo hell yeah bub. just like everybody else. dry it out till it knocks and then shoot the fuel through the roof. cause black smoke is power right?. if I'm not mistaken this guy is running a base map. it's probably a little hot but not too bad.
@@Lanesantangelo I have the same! Got it from RiffRaff! I even did the Chipotle Delete on the hot side IAC pipe, cause I heard that was to damper sound. Would having my EBPV deleted make any difference?
Looking at a 03 7.3 for hot shotting this week, Would you recommend it given your experience wt this truck? If not what around the 10-15k mark would you ?
7.3 are amazing work trucks especially the year 99-03. i bought mine for 2500 and it pulls like its the end of the world. i wouldnt spend 10k on one unless it was lowish miles and near mint condition
+DodgeGuy6 I had that truck for a total of 9 months and spent $4500 on repairs for it and still had a long list of stuff that needed repair. i unloaded on a dealership for $10,000 and got an ecoboost.
CRF FilmZ it was an MBRP 4inch turbo back straight pipe. I got a few more videos of the way it sounded. I wound up also doing a 6637 air filter swap and it sounded nasty then.
That 7.3 sounds great!!!!

You can get the sound at the inbox i guess. So it is with the straight four volkswagen diesels.
gas v8s are the gayest things on the planter tho- 😂
@@Jeko_9785 tell me that in the dead of winter.

@@lmCIoudz I'll take your word for it but, -15° here in Iowa doesn't work wonders on compression.
Wow a diesel that doesn't roll coal, that's like a needle in a haystack
more air than fuel I guess, wasn't tuned lol
+Lane Santangelo if they roll coal they are not tuned properly that's unburnt fuel
+D Schwoeppe I wouldn't really say not tuned properly but yeah it's unburnt fuel
my 06 6.0 dident roll coal but my buddys 1999 7.3 roll a littel bit when I put my foot on it
My 7.3 doesn't
I like the tires.
Same here
Cooper Discoverer AT/3 great tires, got them on my Taco
Me too they look awesome
That diesel is running clean. That means all the sensors are working well. People sure do bitch when they don't. Praise it when it does.
God I love that sound

Be safe using a hitch to pull the truck/pull something bud.
damn that sounded nice, must have been what? 0-60 in 21 maybe 19 seconds?
I timed it one night… like 13 seconds lmao
man would i love to have that truck
dakota irwin the amount of repairs I spent in nine month averaged out higher than my current truck note
I mean one like it without the issues lol. And damn, how much was your current truck?
dakota irwin 675 lol
I love how you guys "tune" your truck's.
Do you not "tune" yours?

corbett foster lol your comment makes no sense
Honestly these trucks might not sounds the best but you straight pipe them for the turbo whistle mostly
Beautiful truck.
What kind of paint did u use on your grill? Looks amazing
I'm not sure, was like that when I bought it.
Damn that sounds rowdy
Off topic what size tires are those, they look nice?
Frank Morreale they were cooper discovers at/3’s and I remember they were metric 315 something r16s
Sounds like a v8 Mack
Expected so much more
Well, it was a 7.3, so.
Nice truck but did anyone else spot the corvette that drove by at the end?
Are the cab marker lights from factory?
Nice grille! Where did you get that??
Dougman it's the stock grille removed and color matched with billet inserts.
How in the hell do you get the turbo to whistle like that? Mine has a high pitched whine but it never reaches whistling...
I had a Napa 6637 filter installed. Removed the stock housing.

Wouldn’t pick a 7.3 for hotshot honestly. Are you local or otr?
i thought 7.3's were reliable, why did you spend that much in repairs?
never had a problem with the motor, just little shit. then the transmission started giving me problems
Diesels cost more to fix than gas engines typically, and they are indeed very reliable!
