@@gunelbrodin923 The more uncomfortable to hear the opinion is, the more I want to hear it. Firstly, I would like to separate the state of Russia and Russian people. Russia has a capable military, so Sweden would be practically defenseless if Russia decided to attack, but we must keep in mind that Russia is not Soviet Union, so the risk of war is significantly lower now. Secondly, average Russian who has no connection to government. What does average Swede think of him/her ? @@kampakala1544 I can assure you that I personally have nothing against Russia, Russians or EU. I am from danmark and i dont Care if you are swedish. i Think it is easy to read swedish then hear it. Norwegain is easy even you speak it to me. I dont smoke and dont drink bear.
Do you have video clips on what Swedes think about Icelanders & Faroe Islanders? And how about clip about attempts on Faroese language?
I met 2 danish busdrivers, they meant, that danes and swedes hardly find together in termes of mentality and so on (similar to dutch and german people), it workes better with the Norwegians
The one about our stolen land wasn’t really a joke...
I tracked my Swedish American heritage and discovered that I have family member slaughtered in the Swedish bloodbath. So…all those danish freinds? How did I treat them now? Dansk Javlar! 😮
the rivalry the competition the prestige the language really reminds me of Indonesia vs Malaysia 😅
Im s proud dane but I live in sweden but I was in denmark this weekend and damn its a good country
Danes actually don't speak like they have a hot potato in their mouth. That's how Swedes and Norwegians speak when they TRY to speak danish.
So many immigrants from Norway and Sweden to the U.S. but not so much from Denmark.
Well this Dane love Sweden and I speak a mixed SWE/Danish When with my swedish friends 🇩🇰❤️🇸🇪it makes it a lot easier for all of us. I never speak english with them, and due to my awful guttural language, i find that I am the one who needs to make myself more understandable 😂 the thing is, I have to put subtitles on, When watching a Danish movie 😳 and that isnt the case watching anything 🇩🇰🇳🇴 so you are totally Right about our language. We hardly ever open our mouth, When speaking ....
This could be actually a copy-paste of «what Spanish think of Portuguese » 😂 I didn’t know you were having that same issue up there 😂 (I’m Portuguese and I love Spain by the way). Funny enough as in southern Europe we think that up there you are all kind of the same: cold people living perfect lives with enough money (except Finland, we know that they are a bit different and even colder).
Sending lots of love to our European brothers! ❤️
@Nackagubben, why do you speak English with an American accent?
Im swedish i LOVE danmark
I have always thought that there is nothing like a Dane, nothing in the world. There is nothing you can name that is anything like a Dane!
When you say “chokolade” and “remoulade” try to remember the e at the end, because we pronounce that as well
In case no one has suggested: What do Swedes think of Russians?
We are terrified of them.... We even have a say that means danger and that say is: "ryssen kommer" which means "the Russians are coming"
I don't know if you want to hear it from me (probably didn't) but now you know the most important thing we Swedes think of Russians
@@gunelbrodin923
The more uncomfortable to hear the opinion is, the more I want to hear it.
And in my own experiences, the average Russian in St Petersburg differs from the average Russian who you can meet on a booze cruise
Thirdly, political elite can use a foreign threat to take attention away from domestic problems. Here on the eastern side of the Gulf of Bothnia threat of Russia is used against people who a critical of EU. "You do not like EU? Maybe you are Putins agent who wants to weaken the West"
@@kampakala1544 I can assure you that I personally have nothing against Russia, Russians or EU. The reason I say that we Swedes are terrified of Russia is because of the history between Russia and Sweden. There's been many wars between the two countries and if I remember correctly Sweden has a really hard time against Russia in the end of Karl XVI time as king (before he was shot in Norway) and that might be the reason for it. I am not sure if this is the reason but it feels like the most logical.
Thank you for your opinion on the topic though (。^_^。)

If I remember correctly, Russia and Denmark have historically been the biggest rivals of Sweden. And during the cold war, Sweden was armed to the teeth, because of threat from Soviet Union. So I understand if there are some sceptical thoughts about those countries. But the interesting question is what are the thoughts about Russians instead of Russia.
Next time, what Swedes think about Asians?????
Love from USA.
A Swede, a Dane and a Norwegian walk into a bar....
im from denmark the 2nd time u pronounced pølse it really sounded 95 percent like danish im not kidding
It is easier to live in Denmark than in Sweden if you are a hippie who likes to smoke weed or a racist who likes to discriminate against non-danish people. For other people, it is better to live in Sweden (and it's a much bigger country with mountains, rivers, and me).
Even if it isn't nordic, what do swedish citizen think about Canada?
I'm not even from a Scandinavian country, but who cares I just like watching people feuding
@Mikael Jensen Bruh it was a joke. What I meant was you guys are like sibling,in love hate relationship.
We don’t hate Danes BRUH!!!!!
I would like to know what Swedes make of Bornholmers; I've heard them called the "swedish Danes." My family is from there.
They're danish
@@hansjakobsen6475 Thank you, Hans.
Well this is 2 years old but I can say now that Denmark don't hate Sweden any more. I have actually grown up whit a swede my hole life, well technically not cause Se was born I Denmark but moved to Sweden with her parents and has her kids and family in Sweden that can't speak Danish and were born in Sweden. I have known her my hole life but she moved back to Sweden to her family and kids recently so yeah, my family and friends has no beef with Sweden anyway😅
