In this video, you will see RaDona cut a short pixie hairstyle for women over 60. This haircut is a soft and easy pixie. Today in this video, we have Linda here to cut this cute pixie.
In this video, you will learn how to make a pixie look soft. To start off, you will clean up the edges and back of the neck. You will then grab the hair and cut about an inch and a half. You will then use the point cut technique on the back of the hair and the crown of the hair. You will use the hair underneath as a guide point to see how much you will need to take off. This haircut is perfect for anyone who wants to have a super easy and fast hairstyle. It is perfect for anyone who is super busy and has no time to do their hair. This haircut is perfect for anyone who has curly hair as well. This haircut is perfect for all hair types. You will next trim behind the ear and use the side you cut as a guide point. This short pixie hairstyle is perfect for women over 60, but it is perfect for anyone! It is also for those who are older than 70, older than 60, older than 50, and those who are in their wonderful ‘40s. In this haircut, to create the soft and easy pixie look, you will want to make sure that you cut some hair over the ear. When you go to do it, you will point cut into it to keep some length. Then on the sides you cut a little. For bangs, you will point cut into the hair so that it doesn’t take cut the hair without thinning it. For this haircut, you will want to use lots and lots of texture. After you blow dry the hair until 80%, you will want to use a medium round brush to start to give it volume. This way it also gives it some poof oval look. This gives the pixie a softer look to it. After it is fully dry, you put the hair dryer on low to soften and make the hair more fluffy. Then with a comb, you will double check to see if you need to add more texture. Then with a wala brush, you will brush the hair to back comb the hair. That way it gives the hair cut the fullness.

For styling products, RaDona uses her “magic products” Monat. The products she uses are unique to your type of hair and haircut. For the products that RaDona will use for this haircut, will make sure that the thin, fine hair looks thick and full. The first product RaDona uses is the Monat’s Root Lifter. You will especially put it in the top and back so that it will give volume and help the hair in the back stand up. Then RaDona uses Monat’s Moose. ( make sure you only use one pump. This moose is all natural and super concentrated. If you put in more than one pump, your hair will feel super heavy and have too much product in it.- one squirt is all you need). RaDona then uses Monat’s Thickening Spray. This spray will help make the hair look and feel thicker than it actually is. After adding these, you will start to blow dry her hair. After drying her hair, RaDona uses 2 drops of Monat’s Rejuvenique Oil. You will put it all over her hair to shine and condition her hair. Then RaDona uses Monat’s clay ( this is the perfect substitute for Distortion). This gives it more of a spike look and makes it thicker. How far are you from Keller, Tx?
I cannot find a beautician that can cut my hair. Either not short enough or botched with gaps, then way too short and can’t style. I am 70 my hair is so straight and fine. Would love a style that I can style easily and doesn’t take an hour to fix. I am retired and love to travel in our RV. I don’t like spending an hour on my hair when out on a trip. Usually I get a perm before I leave on a trip.
