I was talking about the 'being frank, not hinting' thing with my friend's parents today. The dad said "I told her before we married to just say what she meant straight up; I can't take hints. But now I wish I could take that back because she tells it too straight." 😂
For #2, I think it goes both ways. Sometimes we (females), as in I've talked to my friends about this many times, had experiences when we try to ask guys questions and they give short answers. In order to really understand what they're feeling, it's like we have to perform an investigation because we ask further questions. For example, "What's on your mind?" Their response, "Nothin'." Or, "What have you been up to?" Their response, "Not much." These are basic examples, but sometimes I have asked deeper questions and the guy resorts to answering really simply because it's a big issue for him. It's really hard to get to know a guy and learn about him when he doesn't express himself in ways that helps a female understand. It would be helpful if both, male and female (and I'm guilty of this too), communicated their thoughts and emotions clearly.
IMO it depends on how close you are. If you are close friends without any ambiguity, or you are confident he has no interest in you, a compliment is harmless. Otherwise, it may be (though not always) interpreted as a sign of interest (this is usually when the guy already has an interest in you in his mind) and may lead him to get bolder in approaching you. If you are not sure, take notice if his behaviour towards you changes after the compliment.

Off topic: my church is full of dear elderly people, where I have served for 20yrs. My family moved here in fact to serve there because we felt called to. However, I am usted to being the only youth;&, since It is a trasitional island, I’m also usted to people leaving after 6 months. I’ve tried youth groups & Bible studies of every other Christian church on isle,& even Christian online dating apps where I felt people hid behind the screen of how the appeared,& cheated on me the most. So my question is this: where do u meet other Christians your age in this situation??

@@sarily626 Christians are allowed to wear tattoos. It is about honoring God with your body, so it is each person's decision. The thing about not wearing tattoos comes from a legalistic mindset. It is the same with hugs, and most other things. Hugs have to do with personal boundaries. Some are uncomfortable with it and it is okay, others are okay with it and it is also okay.
Well one thing is maybe the boys can just carry is a pad or tampon or both in there backpack 🎒 and you know for the girls it is so not weird to ask your guy friend for that out of his bag but don’t ask him unless you know he has one and for the guys who read my commenting this video don’t freak out if she asks you for a pad now you have one. it is ok to carry one and if you don’t know how to get one then the best person to asks is you sister or mom or grandma they will know but it is just a good idea to do that so I hope you men out there dating or not just carry a pad or tampon and thank you Paul and Morgan for all the great advice hope that you all have a wonderful day and life

Hey, I don't know if you frequently have trouble breathing and having yawns stuck in your throat (and I realize this was a year ago), but I did for a while and I realized it was from anxiety. Just for what it's worth
Duddddde! The last part was so accurate! So I used to like this one guy in college, currently still right now. Lol, I remember that I knew I was not going to see him for a while and I felt so sad but then I'd felt daring too because I "thought" it was going to be the last time I was ever going to see him because we were second year. And in my head during that time, the school was super big and we may eventually just forget about each other or so I'd thought. So the last week of school, I'd saw him during church and my ultimate goal was to kind of tell him how I felt about him. (Because you know, "I will never see you again" type of ordeal haha). After church, I was searching for him and then I saw him went out so I'd felt a little sad. Then later I left with my friends to go back to our dorms. I go outside and the next thing I know I see him sitting at a bench. At first we'd passed by him but I was so compelled to tell him, I didn't care no more if it was in front of my friends. I walk back to him, ramble a bit because I was fluster and did not plan through, I'd just had a goal. Eventually it went something like this, "Hey, can I tell you something because I don't know if we will ever see each other again. And I feel like we most likely won't see each other." He says yeah go ahead. Holding my breathe, I breath out: "I think you're very handsome and sweet". Then everything went out the door from there. I did not feel ashamed about it and I felt glad letting him know. After that, we both were away in different overseas trip. Comes back and my life was never the same ever again. The first person that I see at school. Him. What did I do? -> "Is something wrong with my glasses?" LOL! Never have the school felt so small! I'd bumped into the guy every week or more like every day when the chance came. I'd tried convincing myself he probably doesn't remember me, there's a ton of girls. Or I probably was a blur to him. But oh no, he sure did and he didn't play stupid about it. If anything. I did but to sum it up, give a genuine compliment and you never know. I don't regret telling him that he was handsome because I'd meant it but the other parts were not what I was expecting.
