My brother, MrH, is a high school teacher here in Australia. The only 2 students he has ever had on his friends list were my kids, his niece and nephew. MrH even went so far as to use his nickname instead of MrH.
Also, side note, my 11th grade English teacher was a makeup artist on the side too. She did makeup for stage plays and the only reason we knew about it was because they would get her to help with makeup when the drama class would do plays. She also did the injury makeup for the "don't text and drive" thing we did. She made my cuts and bruises look super realistic!
Teachers in America are severely underpaid. Where I live (Ontario, Canada) teachers make between $70k to $100k annually. Teachers in America make $40k-60k ......I made $40k a year working in retail...like how insulting it must be to teachers to make the same amount of money working at the mall.
@@SjofnBM1989 so the Canadian pay for teachers is roughly the same as US. I know many teachers in the US who make$ 90k. We may start lower than Canada, but we rise up the ladder quickly with increasing our education (masters degree, doctorate). Any teachers who need to engage in MLMs, or even work second jobs to supplement their income aren't utilizing the teacher perks that our government offers and they are most likely living above their means. With my first year in my school district I'm taking home $41k, but medical insurance is $0 a month (best coverage I've ever had) and my retirement was maxed at $18.5k for the year so I actually made $60k. Not bad for a first year teacher (I changed careers). In 5 years, I'm going toward an assistant principal position and it'll take me from $46/47k a year to $85k+ (not including that retirement max out). The teacher pay scale varied by state and district, but it's alot more nuanced than "oh teachers don't get paid enough." I was a medical tech and at my highest earning I was at $45k/year and I had to fund my retirement out of that pay vs it all being handled for me by the school district. My take home that year after I told my company how much I wanted out and after taxes was about $30k. I'd rather be a teacher any day. Oh some of the government benefits are (in case you're wondering): 1. HUD homes. Teachers, RNs, and first responders have the ability to put a $1 down as the down payment for a house 2. Applying for student loan forgiveness while paying back on an income based repayment. I know there are issues with people actually getting their loans forgiven, but honestly, it's not that hard of a program to complete if the person is responsible and misses 0 payments in 10 years. 3. $3-4k a year in Federal grants for classroom supplies. It's free money to those working at low income (title 1) schools, as long as they remain teachers for 5 years at title 1 schools. With this money, that teacher increased their income because they don't have to go into their own pocket to cover classroom needs.they can apply for this grant every year. I don't know if you wanted to know all this but I hope it helps.
I met a lady who was a college professor. She became an administrator. She wanted to go back to teaching, but THE RETIREMENT after 3 years as an administrator was more than her salary as a professor. Students might have to take 6 classes but teachers complain if they have to teach more than 2 classes. And when you sign on as a public school teacher, your loans can be forgiven.
I’m writing a research paper about MLM’s for one of my classes, and I was wondering if it was okay if I used you for one my sources! You would receive a proper citation
Yep! Go ahead. The finance guy is a good source for financial analysis on several of the most popular MLMs if you want to use him as well. Might be helpful
this lady taught at my high school but I NEVER had her as a teacher and barely knew her. I’ve been graduated for 5 years and she tried adding me on Facebook a month ago.....
I once was involved in an MLM scheme. I was at some meeting with my laptop. Initially it was to take notes. Until they mentioned the CEO. I googled him and found all this despicable stuff about him. Some lady behind me tapped my shoulder and told me to pay attention and not be on my computer. i repeated what was just said and at break I nope'd the hell out of there. Best decision ever.
I really dont know about that statement... I'm not saying some teachers arentnbeing paid well but I have a degree, am being paid very minimally, and I'm not doing shit like this.

The fact that she is in an mlm should literally be seen as so discrediting to her intelligence she shouldn't be ALLOWED to be a teacher. Like, sorry sis, you've proven you learned NOTHING from your education. Denied.

Good for you sweetie. You are young and beautiful so many young vulnerable girls will click on your videos. If you can prevent some from falling into this trap, that’s great.
Can you please do a video all about how MLM’s can ruin relationships between coworkers, family members, friends, etc? So many people I know have literally cut ties with people over an MLM because they refused to join it or thing went sour while in it. There is such a toxicity to MLMs when it comes to canceling people in your life who do not agree with MLMs.
My ex was a huge MLM advocate and he truly felt like his relatives (who weren't interested in the "business" at all) were idiots because they didn't want to buy health supplements/shakes from him. He was brainwashed to believe that he was doing them a favour by offering them the products. It was so fucking weird.
I’m just a college TA and I literally would never add my students on social media and they’re whole ass adults and I’m basically their age. No matter the circumstances, it is very unprofessional!!
I overheard the pta president at my daughters school “encouraging” other women to join her beach body team. 🙄 I wanted to call her out so bad that this wasn’t the time or place but I bit my tongue
This is one of the huge reasons that I refuse to be involved in the PTA for my daughter and my son. So many hunbots and so little intelligence among certain groups of individuals. I just wouldn't be able to bite my tongue. I commend you for being able to do so! Lol
My problem with Beach Body was that I was a customer before it was an MLM and they were just doing infomercial advertising. The products I tried really did improve my health (the original P90, etc when they were still VHS tapes-I’m old). It saddens me to see them do the MLM stuff because their workout videos are actually pretty awesome.
Stephanie Pzn you should call her out. I just happened upon the pta treasurer and fund raising mom and called them both out on taking time from my the students learning to have a third party company come in to promote their fundraising program. There are so many other ways to raise money without having kids peddle crap from a catalog.

One of the girls I went to hs with just started selling Monat and everyday I wait for that “hey girly” dm. But I know how they got her involved. She was experiencing postpartum hair loss and she SWEARS that Monat has been fixing it and she always thanks the person who got her in and I just feel so bad for her.
I can relate to this. I was experiencing post partum hair loss for the first time at 20 years old. I was panicking, and I actually reached out to a representative to ask about the products. Thankfully they were much too expensive for me at the time 😂 many months later I discovered that my hair was growing back !
I wish people realized that PPHL cures itself. I had a literal bald spot on my temple, it looked terrible, but it grew back. People kept asking how, and I said “Just wait”.
Noemi De La Torre On Monat’s own website it says and I quote “does Monat grow hair? No.” Show your friend that and the 11 class action lawsuits against them. It personally destroyed my hair and messed my hormones up terribly. It makes people’s milk dry up and it bugs me they target new moms some who are nursing.
My professor sent us an MLM invite email a couple days after our final!! She brought up the fact the most of us are seniors and how low the job placement rate is right now, completely scaring students into it. Utilizing the authority and trust of being a professor to get students to sign up under you is *predatory*
Been binge watching anti-mlm videos during quarantine and this makes me absolutely sick. I am teaching assistant. If the students know she's doing this and it's common knowledge that she has kids on her personal FB page, the entirety of the staff does as well. Kids are the biggest unintentional narcs in the world. They talk to other teachers about all their other teachers. They spill it all. And if the teachers know about it, the administration knows it. Every adult in that school is failing those children. Also many districts have VERY strict policies regarding teacher/student communications outside of school.
If this is a public school, then she is a government employee and her threat to attack students who speak out is a direct First Amendment violation. And why is she promoting her business using school property? Also ... "food?"
I wish you’d put these people on blast and show faces and names. My sister did this same MLM thing and ruined our relationship. She also suckered my poor mother, sister and sister in law to her scam.
As a teacher...I don’t know where to even start with this. Other than the high level of liability issues she is putting herself at! This blows my mind!
As a teacher myself, I see many coworkers fall into these traps because our pay is often very low considering most of us are required to get a Master's and the amount of work we put in. Just today during a Zoom meeting a teacher said she started a "side hustle" and it is an MLM... I cringed so hard.
LOL that second video also reminded me of that part in King of the Hill where Peggy is like it's not a pyramid Hank it's a triangle and it is not a scheme it's a opportunity.
You're beautiful, very smart, rational and empathetic. I also love your accent. Thank you so much for speaking about this issue! MLM's are a huge problem in Australia and inadequately discussed. Anyway keep up the good work :)
If I ever find my son’s teacher adding him and other students onto their Facebook page and promote their MLM garbage to these children? I’d be at that school flipping a table.
Ur right! Idk if teachers are even allowed to have a fb but if so, its probably 99.7% lol that they aren't allowed to friend the students, but if they are allowed, MORALLY they shouldn't!
She literally wrote out the argument for exactly why it’s a pyramid scheme, literally called the sellers the customer (making it clear the only customers are the sales people) AND STILL CAME TO THE WRONG CONCLUSION.
I know someone who works with a company called Juice plus I am wondering have you ever heard of this company? She insists it’s not an MLM and as I know little about MLMs just what I’ve learned from watching your content it seems like it ticks every box an MLM fits into! The cold messaging, making money from people you “recruit” into the company, the outlandish claims about health benefits! I have a degree in nutrition and know only too well it’s illegal (in my country) to claim something “cures” diseases and illnesses and this company has done that! I would love to know more about this so called company if you know anything about it or have ever heard of it.
DramaticMac it is definitely exploiting vulnerable people. Sadly MLMs prey on people who are desperate. The legalities may vary depending on the country and how they depict the earning structure. It’s all smoke and mirrors though.
I suffer from an ed, during the peak of my struggle if some random girl reached out to me asking if I wanted to lose weight I would spiral so bad. They are inconsiderate as hell

I made a PowerPoint on MLMs in my English course and so many people were really offended by it.
@@TheMaguirre8 really?! Are you a student or teacher? I canceled class Friday and plan to show it tomorrow, but I already emailed it to them. I suppose in an Argument class I can get by with it, though, because we are supposed to pick controversial issues 😅 I'm surprised people were offended haha
psh okay boomer
I feel like if it was a teacher I really liked I would believe that they had my best interest at heart and atleast look into it. Thats so sad, I hope students didnt sign up!
Exactly 😔
Teaches money management and is part of an MLM, consider me confused! 🤔 It’s so great you continue to educate your audience on the risks associated with joining an MLM. Great video as usual!
This woman was stressing me out when she was explaining and drawing that damn pyramid
You are so right about God complex. I was bullied by so many teachers. Then when I would try to talk to the principal or anyone higher up the teacher would then be spiteful and make my life hell
I’m a teacher and there are two things I keep out of the classroom: politics and personal gain. I’m a makeup artist on the side but my students don’t know for the most part. I won’t even add former students who have graduated on social media! Gotta keep the teacher/student relationship profesh.
larissaj oh yes definitely! That’s why I’m always super cautious!
Jesus they need to start paying teachers more, this is sad and desperate
Olivia Emerson agreed! I've seen so many teachers and administration staff get caught up in these scams because they are so underpaid ☹️
Teachers in America are severely underpaid.
Where I live (Ontario, Canada) teachers make between $70k to $100k annually.
Teachers in America make $40k-60k
......I made $40k a year working in retail...like how insulting it must be to teachers to make the same amount of money working at the mall.
Oh some of the government benefits are (in case you're wondering):
1. HUD homes. Teachers, RNs, and first responders have the ability to put a $1 down as the down payment for a house
@@SjofnBM1989 the us to Canadian dollar are different also which makes a difference in that number. That being said, teachers are underpaid here.
BV also stands for bacterial vaginosis. 🤣🤣 That’s all I could think about every time she said BV. 🤦🏼♀️💀
SAME
Omg. Same. So glad im not alone. 🤣
“Wassup party rockers!”
Okay 2011 🤘🏻 lol
Yikes on many, many bikes...
Rosie McIntyre “Yikes on many, many bikes!” Lol I love that! Never heard that one before 😂
Put it in your pocket book of phrases lol it always gets a kick out of people. 🙂
Yikes on many bikes - best catchphrase ever! Well, since fetch, of course hahaha
i’ve always beard yikes on trikes heheh
"It's not a pyramid scheme!" Well I dunno Debra, that diagram looks pretty fuckin triangular
This reminds me of Michael Scott trying to sell calling cards, and Jim drawing a pyramid around Michael's illustration of how it works.
It's NOT a pyramid. They're *circles* Kylie!!! 🙄😂😂
this lady taught at my high school but I NEVER had her as a teacher and barely knew her. I’ve been graduated for 5 years and she tried adding me on Facebook a month ago.....
Be safe. Stay far away
Well, if you're ever constipated, contact her, because isagenix will make you get the runs 🤣😂😆
Zophie Enzo so many people I know who tried it have said this!
Big yikes, that's so freaking predatory.
Cant you report her to the school board or something? Because this is messed up
I once was involved in an MLM scheme.
When she started drawing out an ACTUAL PYRAMID. I CRIED 😂💀
You know we're not paying our teachers enough when they're literally turning to pyramid schemes to turn a penny
I really dont know about that statement... I'm not saying some teachers arentnbeing paid well but I have a degree, am being paid very minimally, and I'm not doing shit like this.
jholmie most college professors get paid a very fair wage.
I have been teaching for 13 years and am just now earning a comfortable wage. At least now that I have a Master’s degree and ALSO drive a school bus route.
Ryan Weston she’s a high school teacher.
Key words: A PENNY
I can also think of about 54 better ways to make 54 dollars.
🤣
The fact that she is in an mlm should literally be seen as so discrediting to her intelligence she shouldn't be ALLOWED to be a teacher. Like, sorry sis, you've proven you learned NOTHING from your education. Denied.
Sadly smart people can be manipulated; naive lonely and/or desperate being the main reasons.
Right?!!!
If they are selling you on getting the job more then the product the company is selling, it’s a scam y’all.
You’re doing the lords work exposing these scammers.
Gross gross gross
It is funny that she is basically explaining how they "worked out the kink" in the pyramid scheme 😂😂😂
this is so wrong on so many levels, including young people feel insecure about their bodies, so she plays on their insecurities.
But ... but she essentially drew circles to draw a pyramid. You can’t make this up. Wow. 🤣
And explained how they use recruitment to make $, funneling the $ to the top! Gah
I never comment on UA-cam videos but I can’t stop laughing at the fact that this lady drew out a pyramid. 😂 I feel that half of these hun bots are just Michael Scott. 😂
Good for you sweetie. You are young and beautiful so many young vulnerable girls will click on your videos. If you can prevent some from falling into this trap, that’s great.
Agree ! She is doing a great job !
It was so fucking weird.
there is nothing an MLM hun WONT DO, even if they’re a teacher...so ridiculous
Omg I cannot stop bingeing anti MLM content. They must be stopped!
I’m just a college TA and I literally would never add my students on social media and they’re whole ass adults and I’m basically their age. No matter the circumstances, it is very unprofessional!!
glad my brother sent me this bc this was my teacher ☕️
“I didn’t even know where I was in high school.” Relatable.
Chelsea the amount of times she says that in class is bad. And “I went to college for the wrong reasons.” Blah Blah turned my life around blah shit like that
anyone else get the scammy ad before the video called "quit9to5" Honestly hilarious for them to advertise before an anti-MLM video....the pitch was literally "you don't need technical skills, experience, product, all you need is computer and internet connection." Riiiiiiight.....riiiiight.
Jaycey DeHoyos LOL I get these all the time. is it because I watch these videos like nobodies business lmfao
Omg I always get these ads! It's always a guy in first class on a plane, and some other guy like walking to some important meeting lmao
Love all your anti-mlm content.
♥️ amen
I’m glad you’re bringing up isagenix. 4 people did it at my former job. There’s a youtuber (Bianca Franco) who’s a “fitness” youtuber. Her and her mom have pushed (& may still push) isagenix like crazy. She needs to be stopped too
CA_Gizelle yes they are so annoying. Also can’t stand her relationship advice videos. It seems so fake
@@danceteam33 yeah I had to stop watching her. Along with the isagenix nonsense a video that consists of her derpy bf was sending me over the edge lol
CA_Gizelle right!!!!!
I am SHOCKED no one has talked about her yet because what she does is so shady to me. Younger girls (HS/early college) are watching and hear about this “job” Bianca has and think they should check out the “business”. Gross
@@kasidyyates5883 Yeah I stopped watching after she graduated college because I know she was gonna be one of those. But dang I didn't realize so many people felt the same way lol
This teacher is not only looking at possible termination, but a huge lawsuit in the future. Yikes.
I try so hard to watch other MLM videos when you don’t have a new video up and no one compares to yours! Thats not in a bad way either i just love yours😂
Keely Totenhagen very few do the research like she does. Plus, she’s clearly very intelligent and sees through the bs and calls them on it. I love it.
Omg same😂
Lollll I can't stop laughing about the LITERAL PYRAMID art she made 😂
One of the girls I went to hs with just started selling Monat and everyday I wait for that “hey girly” dm.
But I know how they got her involved. She was experiencing postpartum hair loss and she SWEARS that Monat has been fixing it and she always thanks the person who got her in and I just feel so bad for her.
Noemi De La Torre Has anyone informed her that your hair usually recovers on its own after pphl 🤔
Mason Reeed oh trust me, I have. I’ve sent her a few articles on the lawsuit but she doesn’t not believe they’re true. I don’t know, I don’t get it.
My professor sent us an MLM invite email a couple days after our final!! She brought up the fact the most of us are seniors and how low the job placement rate is right now, completely scaring students into it. Utilizing the authority and trust of being a professor to get students to sign up under you is *predatory*
Those 5 people that disliked this video are in a MLM!
Wow teachers using their position to recruit is actually scary and a little pathetic!
Girl really didn't think about the fact that she straight up drew a pyramid?
If this is a public school, then she is a government employee and her threat to attack students who speak out is a direct First Amendment violation. And why is she promoting her business using school property? Also ... "food?"
She should prove that’s she’s making this “money”
I wish you’d put these people on blast and show faces and names. My sister did this same MLM thing and ruined our relationship. She also suckered my poor mother, sister and sister in law to her scam.
Listening through an MLM ad for you. The love is real
As a teacher...I don’t know where to even start with this. Other than the high level of liability issues she is putting herself at! This blows my mind!
do adults lack maturity these days?
No only does this cross the line/no boundaries but it’s unethical as a professional!
Huh, I’ve been out of school for a long time now, but I’ve just realized that my English prof would push Avon.
"Party rockers".... man, I can't with these ladies 😂😂😂😂💀
Thank you for sharing this. This exploitation of her students is unacceptable and I hope the school addresses this.
OMG - So glad you're revisiting this one! So twisted! looking fab, girl! you rock this! xo
If she is hawking this to students that are minors, thats super illegal. Is she selling to her students or adults that were her students?
I’m 2 minutes in and I am just giddy over this.
The lack of self-awareness, as with all cults, is astounding. When she earnestly pulled out that pyramid drawing, my heart fell. So sad.
Where’s Jim when you need him lol 🔺
It’s wild how so many people are able to keep a secret. I LOVE EXPOSING THE SECRETS!!!
My daughter is a HS Math teacher in Texas and she does not have any students in her social media. She says it's unethical.
Claudia Torres I agree
Mlm for sure
yep! definitely an MLM
@@KikiChanel How on earth is this legal? It seems like its exploiting vulnerable individuals!
Hi Dramatic Mac. I watch you all the time. I think these MLMs are all over the world and just kind of rise and fall and a new one will always surface.
Dude, the ad that played for me on this video was a pyramid scheme ad😂😂😂😭.
It was aimed at men, but still.
As a high school English teacher, this absolutely disgusts and saddens me. What’s she’s doing is so manipulative and wrong, I cannot believe she still holds a teaching position.
Lmao, she literally drew a pyramid😂
I applaud you for being so respectful and level headed in these videos. I find myself getting so frustrated, idk if I’d be able to communicate as well as you because I’d be so flustered the whole time! 😂
