Which City Would You Like to Visit in The 20's??
Imagine having to put on a suit or dress every time you walked out the door to go shopping. Today's Americans struggle to even put on pants to go to Walmart.
Does anyone else feel like it’s an honor to watch this?
Gives me chills to think that 100 years later, people in 2120 will see videos from today the same way we see these..
Stunning magical footage! It’s amazing. The fact that all these people are dead and at the time of filming they couldn’t fathom even remotely the idea that 100 years later people would be able to see them on little screens in their homes. It’s truly astonishing.
1920s is the first decade that truly embraced modernity and even after 100 years, it's still strikingly modern and ahead of its time whenever you see footages from the 1920s.
What an amazing use of technology, thank you so much. Imagine telling someone in 1920 that they could see with their eyes an event from 1818. It would be insane. Yet, here we are 102 years later doing pretty much that.
Travelling back in time has been what people have dreamed of doing since the dawn of civilization. Thank you for this capsule. It’s incredible to witness what came before us.
It's amazing that this is only 30 years before the 1950s. What a difference!
They all got dressed up very well. What a modest world it was!
It's hard to see that every single person in this video is no longer exist. Life is just glimpse and it passed away like nothing.🙂🙏
im impressed by how everyone were so well dressed unlike what we see now
This like the closest thing we have to time travel. People looking into the camera at that very moment were looking to us in the future who would be seeing this looking back at them at the very moment they recorded all this. The bond between them and us transcends time.
Absolutely fascinating. As close to time travel as can be.
It's so strange to think that all those people we see here are no longer with us. Yet here they look alive and well, really like a timeportal.
You know in some ways UA-cam is a time machine into the past. These people would be amazed beyond anything they could imagine. They’d lose their minds that we can watch this footage on a flat notebook sized iPad or phone, with wireless headphones etc…Incredible
