While a lot of folks buy vehicles for comfort, convenience, style and status it is still an investment though not in the traditional sense. However, if the vehicle is being purchased as a personal or business asset that will either make or saves you money it is an investment in every sense.
Same fam, I can buy a vehicle but I decided not to. I work from home so I don't need one as much, I don't mind taking taxi and if I am doing something that requires one such as a long journey then I can rent one, still the cheaper way. Only way I see a vehicle as an investment is if you are doing some business that requires a vehicle to either enhance or use as a operating tool. From the moment you buy one it starts to depreciate.

Worse if you buy a car and have payments for years and by the time you pay it off it's worth nothing. These people try to appear intelligent with words like assets and investments. Those words mean nothing in this context. A car is a luxury and liability, if you want to get fancy with words.

(I don't know if makes a difference but I'm living in NY) Sometimes last year I checked the valve of the car on Kelly Blue Book. The price, between 6 to 8 thousand dollars in reasonable good condition. I then checked Ebay and to my surprise there were going at 15 to 25 thousand dollars, unmodified. Keep in mind, it was not made as a special car but it was just in high demand. On the other hand I've purchased land in Florida for 14 thousand dollars on a payment plan so by the time it was fully paid off it cost me just over 20 thousand dollars. Do you know the offer I'm getting now? Yes, you're right. Way less than I paid for it, from 5 thousand to 8 thousand dollars. Are my cases special? Perhaps the reason is being a different country and of course inflation may be a factor but it might be strange to know that investments can backfire depending on what kind it is and when it's done.

How can someone a broad trust NCB with their personal information when customers are complaining of missing monies in their accounts and no accountable. Are they the only bank that does financing a car from overseas?
Other banks do, but it's probably similar. When I had a small business, I wanted a separate but simple business account. They required so much, including a letter from my pastor! Good bye! Oh and if you want to close your account, it's another mess. Plan on missing lunch too.
